My husband and I saw a red tent on the side of 10th Street in San Jose and we smelled something delicious. There was a food stand there with covered seating. The menu was small. They specialized in something I have never had, Birria. This is stewed beef from the cows head. It's a delicacy from Michoacán. They gave us a slice of the beef to sample. Soft savory deliciousness. Got the wet burrito ($11) with chorizo and the super nachos ($12) with carne asada. Very filling and definitely hits the spot. However, the nachos were pretty dry; I think some more pico or meltier cheese would've been nice. Also all of their salsas are super spicy so if you have a low tolerance like me they will definitely be too much for you to handle lol. The chorizo was really flavorful and good, but the carne asada in the nachos were a tad dry.

Bomb food! Beef taquitos are my go to! Carne asada tacos are delicious. The meat is not fattening or chewy. Rice and beans always taste fresh. Salsas are hot and tasty! Perfect lil mex gem in mtb
