Pupusería La Chalateca serves big and spectacular pupusas like chicharron y queso and hongos y queso. The cheese pupusa has perfectly caramelized dark spots of cheese. The chicharron pupusa had a slightly sour taste but was still good. The freshly made pupusas are not greasy and worth the 10-15 minute wait. The friendly service and casual atmosphere make it the best Salvadoran place in the area for delicious pupusas, breakfast, and dinner.
