As a Kansas City native, I’m picky about bbq and am always looking for something that tastes like home. We had ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. The brisket is 5 star! Tender and smoky, just as it should be. The burnt ends were tasty. The ribs were tender and flavorful. The mac n cheese was delicious, but I like a traditional custard-like homestyle. We were considering using them for a party, so we did a test run at the restaurant. We loved the food and decided to order for our party. The ordering process on the website was very easy. We decided to add additional food a few days before the event, and that part was also simple. Came for lunch with a group on Fri. We were greeted by amicable staff, service was fairly quick. Ambiance is unique and you can smell the meat before you walk into the establishment. Restaurant was clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was bustling and customers seemed content. The chicken BBQ sandwich was good, sauce was decent, nothing spectacular but overall good as well as the beans. Berry cobbler pie was delicious.
