Oh, the delicious Halal Shack.. I would give them 1000 stars if I could! I’ve always heard of Halal but never had the opportunity to try it until now. Halal Shack at SJSU is one of the best restaurant options that the Student Union offers! I fell in love with the BBQ chicken, and am pretty obsessed with the Naaanarito. Halal Shack does really well in welcoming you to the unit. The food platter skills are quick and the portions are pretty good. Their hot bbq meat is really tasty and I like their fries. You definitely have a variety of options. Too bad the avocado is extra. Really tasty and delicious!

I go here basically every day, and usually get the rice bowl with brown rice, BBQ chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and kale. On occasion I’ll get the fries bowl, which is really good; crispy and fresh. It’s healthy, tasty, quick, and affordable food on campus. I would definitely recommend
