I used to come here regularly when I was in grad school, so it brings back memories, taking those elevators up to the third floor of Hotel Valencia. The place is still as lovely as I remember, upscale, with dim red lighting inside and an inviting outdoor space with a beautiful fountain at the center. Had an awesome time at V Bar last Thursday night. Drinks were perfectly balanced and came out quick thanks to our bartender Aaron. He was a ninja behind the bar. He was quick, attentive, and overall a great person. His service created a pleasant experience for me and my wife. I think this has become our spot now.

Have been here a few times and definitely enjoyed myself every time. V bar is the hidden gem of San Jose for sure. My go to drink is the Santana 75, and Bruno makes it to perfection. I know some of these reviews speak negatively of the security, but I respectfully disagree.
