“Really solid place!! Best burger in SLO and solid honest midrange food in general. No as far as burgers go, the only place that has an edge on Eddie's is the Hotel SLO's smashburger and I'm comparing Eddie's to a fine dining establishment. Eddie's often falls under the radar but if you're local you should know it's here. Plenty of Vegan / Veggie options, great salads, excellent wraps, all at reasonable (for SLO) prices. Again that burger -- char grilled not flat-topped, great fresh toppings, real avocado and the fries are always hot, crispy and fresh. In terms of quality, beats most of the sit-down table service diners in town. If you're looking for American/Diner type food, don't overlook Eddie's as an option.“
“I liked my passion fruit mango agua frescas, and the Hot Cheeto nachos (with cheese sauce and jalepenos) were a fun, satisfying comfort food. The service was incredible (dad and son were working together, and both very kind). I felt good about supporting this little place!“
“Always yummy juice and the bottle exchange gives you a discount. All the food is clean and well priced IMO. Love the colored labels on the juice. The sweet greens is my favorite. Atmosphere is very on trend but it’s always empty and I never dine-in.Vegetarian options: Customizable to vegan“
“Fantastic brunch during our visit to Cal Poly. The sandwiches were very filling and the ice lattes were great. They had nice communal tables and patio seating. The staff was attentive and kept the place neat. Highly recommend if you are visiting town.“
“Such a cute place with yummy drinks! Service was amazing and the worker at 1pm (I'm sorry we never got your name!!) was just so kind and helpful and wanted to make us feel at home. I got a large Cafe Latte Smoothie and it tasted new and interesting! In a good way! I have never tried coffee and protein together so it was a new drink for me but so good! Next time I'm in town, I would love to come back again and try another drink :)“
“Good without being great....I also can't get over the fact that they serve everything in to-go containers with single-use cutlery! What's up with that? You'd think a plant-based cafe would have more of a sustainable ethos. Think about all the unnecessary waste!“
“Great experience with the Jamba, also, fun fact, very first Jamba Juice!! They have a plaque outside and everything! Everyone who works here was very nice and they even let me use my own cup! Which I loved!! They also took my Banana allergy very seriously“

“The people that help you are great. My experience has been the people getting drinks sometimes are very rude like this morning while I was waiting the woman in front of me it was teaching her two young children, math, and making sure they got it right from the drinks, making me wait in line until they perfected their educational experience of learning how to add their Jamba juices while I wait in line, so rude people have been so rude and the people helping as my experience as a psychologist are afraid to say anything because people are rude to them as well so they just wait and let them be rude to others around them while they know the people are being rude to them, and to those around them get it together rude people I know you’re upset because of the World situation but don’t take it out on others. You’re so rude doing that.“
“I was up visiting my daughter at CalPoly and she recommended we visit Shake Smart. I love healthy food and this place didn't disappoint! Overnight oats and an excellent Acai bowl made for a fun snack in the afternoon. A great vibe with amazing employees! I highly recommend you take a break and enjoy a small treat for yourself... Five star for sure.“
“The Acai Project in SLO deserves a solid 5-star rating in my book. From the moment I stepped into this delightful establishment, I was greeted by a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable experience. Let me tell you, their acai bowls are nothing short of amazing. When perusing their menu, I was faced with an array of mouthwatering options. Ultimately, I couldn't resist trying their famous Madonna preset. However, I decided to add a twist by opting for a base of blue majik, and boy, was it a game-changer. The creamy texture of the acai combined with the striking blue hue and the medley of toppings created a visual and gustatory feast that left me absolutely delighted. What truly impressed me was the portion size. For a reasonable price of $12, I received a generously large acai bowl that left me feeling fully satisfied. The freshness of the fruit and the quality of the ingredients were apparent with every spoonful, making each bite a delightful burst of flavor. If you find yourself in SLO and are craving a refreshing and wholesome treat, look no further than The Acai Project. With their commitment to using fresh ingredients, the option to customize your bowl, and the wallet-friendly prices, this place is a must-visit for acai enthusiasts and health-conscious foodies alike. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.“
“Omg. That was a lot of food I got. The sushi rolls are pretty big… nothing like the ones I get in LA, and prices are reasonable. They are also open until late. I got two sushi rolls and ramen. I enjoyed the food… Their Thai tea was SUPER FIREEEEE!“
“Bliss makes wonderful, nourishing vegan food and the owners are lovely and passionate, both about the food they serve and connecting with the local community. (Big shoutout to Dara and Kyle!) The quality of the food at their Thursday SLO Farmer's Market booth is fantastic and portions are generous. I can easily get two meals out of the small, and three or more meals out of the large! My husband loves the Protein Buddha, and I am a recent convert to the fabulously lemony Banzo Bowl, but you can't go wrong with any of the options from Bliss :)We also ordered their prepared multi-course holiday meal for a special Christmas dinner in December (2023), and it was delicious! So many amazing flavors and dishes that satisfied vegans and non-vegans alike. I highly recommend ordering catered food from Bliss if you have the opportunity, and stopping by their booth on Thursdays!“
