“My coworkers and I worked close by so we would frequent this restaurant quite often. Most of the time I would get bahn mi which always tasted really good. This time I got Pho Bo Kho which is like pho but with a deeper Unami taste, because of tomatoes and fish sauce in the broth. This was nice to taste but I don’t think it’s for me and I think I will stick to Pho and Bahn mi here.“
“My coworkers and I would frequent this restaurant often. I would normally get one of the Large Pho bowls but other times I would venture out to Rice Vermicelli Noodles. These noodles were served with lettuce, cucumbers, bean sprouts, mints, pickled carrots and daikon, roasted peanuts and fish sauce. This instance I got it with grilled chicken and egg rolls. Great food all the time!“
“The best Pho in North County! Staff is friendly and they get your food to you hot and promptly. It's really a hidden gem located in Vista, but definitely not a secret. There is always a full restaurant but always plenty of seating. I have never had to wait to be seated. We love their fresh spring rolls too!“
“I was passing through Escondido from Garden Grove and made a pit stop here for some much needed bánh mì. Bánh mì are some of my all time favorite foods and I eat them 1-3 times per week. Here in Garden Grove, there are probably about a hundred bánh mì shops. However, Son Tra was a delightful surprise because their đặc biệt bánh mì was amazing! I pate filling was generous and flavorful and the headcheese was an excellent addition. I haven’t had headcheese in bánh mì in a long time and love the texture. It was also perfectly seasoned. The carrots and daikon pickles were cut thick and provided great crunch and texture. What an awesome hole in the wall spot! Highly recommended. It was so good, I stopped by again the next day in the way back home.“
“Great food with good size portions! The service is very efficient and friendly! This place competes with any of the local Convoy restaurants. Rare steak Pho, spicy noodle soup, lemon grass chicken, spring rolls and egg rolls are all super tasty!!!!!“
“This is the best place in Vista to get pho! My husband and I love trying different pho places in the area but nothing beats Tasty Pho! We come here at least once a week to eat. The owner of the restaurant is so kind and very helpful. He remembers us and always asks about our daughter. He has helped me carry our orders out to the car and has even offered to hold our daughter while we are eating. Very sweet man! My favorite pho to get is the shrimp pho and my husbands is the slice of rare steak and well done brisket pho. The egg rolls are also super delicious and we always get them.“
“Our favorite pho restaurant in Escondido! Always super clean, food is so tasty and the owners are always there willing to accommodate if you need anything. Surprised us with some yummy drinks when we had our baby and waited in our car for our order. They’re the best!“
“Delicious food in Escondido. I love the broth that they use for the Pho. On this visit I had a pork Banh Mi. It was a nice ratio between pork and vegetables. On a nice crusty baguette. I got a small side of broth that I dipped my sandwichin. My friends enjoyed their meal. One had Pad Thai the other one had the “
“My dad has been bringing me here ever since I was a kid. This place started my love for Pho and Vermicelli dishes. The food is always exceeding expectations. Staff is super nice and the atmosphere is great.Parking: A lot of parking spaces, though they can be quite “small”“
“I ordered for pickup. I got the chicken pho, fries, and a rainbow roll. I’m very pleased with everything! The only thing I was not expecting was the fries were not plain…they were a little sweet and had fried garlic. Which was absolutely delicious! But I’d specify that on the menu just in case someone isn’t a garlic lover.Thank you! Will come again.“
“Met the new owners. They were very sweet and provided great service. They assured me nothing on the menu would change but, that they did plan to expand the menu and add new items. The Mom of the owner (daughter) is actually the cook. I believe she used to work as a chef at a pho restaurant in Encinitas. The spicy Beef soup that I ordered was amazing!! Loved all of the flavors and the broth. I also enjoyed the egg rolls with the sweet & sour sauce.Definetly coming back to try out new items that get added to the menu.“
“This place is legit! I'm mostly going in for the Bùn so I can't comment on the Phò. The spring rolls and peanut sauce is the best around (and I've tried a lot of them). The restaurant itself is nice and the staff are great! Sriracha on the tables (as it should be!)“
“This place is always busy and usually a good place to go. I was upset from my last visit since I was waiting to order a to go order at the counter & was ignored. The employee chose to help the guy who was ready to pay even though I was first. I mentioned it and it did not seem to matter. The pho was good, but I haven't been here in a long time so I recalled it being much better.“
“The food is always amazing. Service can be inconsistent as employees change, but you can tell from those who are long term and it shows that they do love what they do. The Surf & Turf Spring Rolls are my current new obsession!! Must try!“
“This is my favorite place to get pho! I've never been disappointed once by this place. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out so fast! They have so many good appetizers, it's hard to pick just one! I recommend the spring rolls, egg rolls, and the lemon pepper wings“
“If you can eat gluten this place is fantastic. They have a lot of GF next to dishes but in the small print below, on the menu, it says it can be made GF but you have to ask. I have been sick 3 days now because of this misunderstanding. I may go back, but maybe not. This is why I prefer to eat at home.Dietary restrictions: Be absolutely sure to tell your wait person that you must have GF or other dietary restrictions.“
“The families that provide the service are great. Very welcoming and kind from the moment you are greeted to the last wave goodbye. As a long term diner here, I can say it's changed. Portions have become smaller and was confirmed with my latest take-out order. I received a single spring of mint and Thai basil. My egg roll order now includes 4 and a table that typically splits the usually 6 eggrolls. They may have a bigger pack. I didn't ask since I typically don't need the bigger options. The broth is delicious here too. Not greasy.“
“We last minute wanted to do bánh mì catering for late night snacks at our wedding. We reached out to them about 2 weeks before the wedding and they were so awesome and accommodating to work with. We ended up getting grilled pork and chicken ones and they were an absolute hit. People were hoarding them too! I highly recommend working with them for your catering needs“
“This is the perfect lunch spot. The are polite and very fast with their service and the food. The restaurant is clean and ready for quick turn over of tables. The portions are large and we loved everything we ate. I think my favorito was the bok choy and the stir fry noodles. We'll absolutely be back, thanks again.“
“I went here a couple of weeks ago. The food was so good and they have a bunch of different options for sandwiches: beef, vegetarian, chicken, and pork. I got the beef sandwich because there were so many options I was overwhelmed due to the fast moving line. However, as I was waiting I had a better look at the menu. I recommend getting the Number 6 Sandwich next time. When I was there they were so popular they ran out of bread right after I ordered so had to turn people away who wanted sandwiches until they could get more bread. With this in mind it is good to know that they have Pho Noodle Soup and they use real Filet Mignon. My daughter got the soup and she loved it.Lastly, my wife got the Fried Tofu sandwich and she said it was phenomenal. So they have lots of great options.Next time I'm in that part of town I'll be eating there again!“
