“Excellent spot.Found the staff to be on point. Everything was on time, waitress was very knowledgeable and had good recommendations but didn't pressure.Food was excellent. Really no complaints. We had the salumi, pea salad, pizza, and cheesecake. Nothing missed. Prices are typical for peninsula (high) but the quality is there to back it up.We sat inside and it was noisy with loud misic, and the large screen TV at the bar was maybe unnecessary. So not a romantic spot but more for a night out with friends or family with older kids. Will definitely come back ASAP!Parking: Right next to large San Mateo city parking garage. Took a while to find a spot but it's free after 6 and there are plenty of spots, you just have to look for a bit since it's such a big lot.“

“You drive into a very quiet parking lot with ample parking spaces. You begin to question whether you are in the correct area… then you walk into the restaurant and realize you have walked into the right place. On a Friday night you enter the most exciting place in Burlingame! The music is live and the drinks are served…. The food is great and the service is fantastic. “Good for happy hour, cozy and not crowded on a weekday for co-worker meetup. Menu isn't huge though, and salad wasn't very exciting, small, but my friends who got burgers and other less health-conscious items were happy. I appreciate the ease of parking, small shopping area right across from Safeway, and easy access off of the 92/280 junction. Good adult hangout, not for kids, dark inside.“

“Bucky''s is a great bar that serves reasonably priced drinks. I usually go a couple Tuesday nights a month and enjoy the service there from Meagen. Bucky's also has an back patio that's great if you want to enjoy your drink with some fresh air. If you are looking for a low key atmosphere and a good time, Bucky's could be the right spot for you.“

“Was there while they were hosting a wedding party. Somehow still have very great and attentive service. My GF is vegan, and the staff was helpful in making sure she had some options, ever adjusting the wagyu chowmain dish I ordered so that she could enjoy it (meat on the side).Veggies were amazing. Very different flavors. We had the string beans and the coli flower.Tea was great. The star or the night were their sipping sauces. They say they make them all in house. Cilantro sauce was the best, but they also have coconut + ginger, soy sauce, and of course chili oil.Dim sum was great as well.Ambiance was nice also.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies clearly labeled vegetarian. I believe most of their vegetarian dishes are actually vegan as well. Great flavor. They also are willing to adjust dishes to fit dietary restrictions.“

Antone's Cocktail Lounge Cocktail Bar • $

“Without a doubt the best Bloody Mary we've ever had. Took my girlfriend to brunch near here a few months ago on a Sunday and we decided to pop in. The crowd was filled with laid back boozers watching football. I forgot the bartenders name but he was a big dude with a beard. He was great. I don't know how he makes his bloody Mary's but they were great! I think my girlfriend thought he was cute too but I thought he was like a 4, but his Bloody Mary's were a 10! We definitely be back here again.“

“Our friends took us here for dinner. Pretty popular place as people lined up before opening to get in asap, and people were still waiting in line for tables to open. They have items that I haven't seen at other Vietnamese restaurants. I had the lemongrass ribs, that was delicious. My wife and her friend shared the Sea Lovers platter and enjoyed it. If you're in the area and craving Vietnamese cuisine, this is a definte place to go.Parking: There is street and garage parking that depending on the day and time is paid or free.“
