“I came across a reel on Instagram and today when we visited the Hall of Science I had to go to Southside Station. They have some of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The chicken was crispy, big and tasty, the slaw was perfectly tangy and and the sauce hit the spot. Perfectly balanced flavors in a big delicious sandwich. In addition, we tried the garlic noodles and the curly fries whichwere really good. Portions are good. I recommend this hidden gem. I'm definitely going back for the sandwich and will try the other items on the menu.“

“I’m a big fan of low key spaces that dial it in. Chef Chew as well known as he is, is highly underrated.What he does with tofu is humbly masterful. While other places will rely on fake meats,he transforms a slab of tofu into a layers and pockets of flavor that get turned into one of the best vegan fried chickuns in the area and a vegan philly protein that is natural gluten free bc it’s basically just tofu and spices.The collards melt in your mouth but somehow don’t taste overcooked. And I think he changed his cheese sauce slightly bc it tastes even better since his reopening. Offering a vegan fried chickun and steak that isn’t made of processed ingredients is a subtle triumph that I don’t feel gets enough recognition. Vegan soul food done right. Much respect.“

“This mac and cheese is perfect- PERFECT. When I'm not in the area, I cry. I got the cookbook for Christmas a couple of years ago and that can tide me over but of course, I'd rather it come from the OG. My absolute favorites are the pesto mac or pizza mac - both of which will rotate on and off the menu. A crunchy top is a necessity. “My wife and I went to Rob Ben's restaurant this past Sunday, and was happy that we did. We were searching for a good down home soul food restaurant and to our surprise we found a gem. Rob Ben's is the prime example of what a soul food restaurant should be. It has the down home southern charm located in Emeryville, California. Everyone was so friendly from the staff to the customers. It was like as soon as you crossed the threshold of the door everything became so peaceful. We will definitely be returning customers because the food was so delicious!! We will enjoy the rest of our food for dinner tonight. “Pizza was amazing. I've had chicago style pizza before and this is similar. The crust was a great crunch and toppings were fresh. The best part was the sauce, just order ahead because the pizza takes 15-30min to make just depends on what you order. Also if you get the deep dish one slice is equally the same as 2 regular slices.“

“I rate the Baltic Kiss five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We love the atmosphere and the music. The cocktail was memorable and the food is tasty and delicious. I had the Gumbo and the vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, not mushy. My group were very happy with their order. The homemade ice cream for dessert is fluffy and delicious. The sound of the music remarkably sounded so professional because the speakers were purchased from Yoshi’s when they decided to upgrade their sound system.“

“Marc and team catered our wedding at the Brazilian Room, and we were extremely happy with both the planning process and the food/support on the day itself. The Arlington team are clearly pros at working in the Brazilian room - and had everything set up quickly and efficiently day-of - even though we had a shorter evening slot. The food was very good (especially the grilled salmon and pesto pasta) - everyone went back for seconds and we got many compliments! Marc was transparent and easy to work with throughout, and we thought pricing was reasonable compared to other vendors we looked at. Would highly recommend!!“

The ambiance was great the meals are extremely hearty but also pretty pricy which is why I took a star away - not saying it's not worth it but it could be a tab then again what's not now a day's. I'm a huge fan of Kimchi Stew this one had pork in it, very rich & comforting on a rainy night served with a side of rice. Def enjoyed it. Got the sweet & spicy wings & the plain wing's I wanted the sauce on the side but it's $3 to have the sauce on the side which kinda confused me? Regardless packed with flavor and fried to perfection. The bulgogi w/rice & egg which is semi pictured could honestly be skipped on. It was good but it didn't stand out to me. Def wanna try hot pot going back. Over all the customer service was great, the gentleman who served us was very personable & he checked in but also gave enough space for us to have a conversation. “I ate here 5-7 years ago for my birthday ! And guess what today's my birthday and I was thinking about this place ! I loveeeeee the cafe and I was very happy with the service and food . My sister and I will be visiting soon ! I don't remember what I ate , I'm sure it was some omelette ! It just feels like home here ! The photos , " what you see , is what you get " and I love that ! “Ordered at the takeout location last night. Brought home vegan Brussel sprouts , vegan buffalo mac and white checked mac add broccoli. Food was delicious, second best thing was Alfred personality I used to work in the restaurant business and going out to eat is hard, servers and food restaurant people have zero kindness or personality. alfred was cool as hell. 10/10“

“I made sure I went twice before I reviewed this place so the first time I went it was happy hour time which was half off appetizers and some low priced drinks the peach a Rita was delicious ? Brussel sprouts were well seasoned and delicious !!! BEST GARLIC NOODLES IN THE BAY AREA ? I also got the fish and fries yummy!!jalapeño popper (which were below mediocre at best). Now to the main dish was the T Rex turkey leg with rasta pasta.... I really wanted to love this dish and don't get me wrong it was visually appealing and individually each component was well seasoned and boasted lots of flavor However with that said there can be to much of a good thing. Combined it was overwhelming the gigantic smoked turkey leg and huge portion of pasta there was much to take home I ended up cutting the meat off the smoked turkey leg and made greens with it the next day which were delicious!!!“
