“El Pollo Loco is a great place for good quality Mexican family meal. My family visits El Pollo Loco 1 every 2 weeks on sundays to give our mom a break from making dinner. The food is good along with the atmosphere and can be made better with friends or family.Parking: The parking lot is free and easily accessible to all.Kid-friendliness: El Pollo Loco is a good place to visit at any time of the day for both the food and great atmosphere for the whole family.“
“I love this place! If you've seen it and wondered I suggest you stop in. They used to have 2 items on their menu but now it's more extensive. Salads, different chicken dishes, egg rolls and lots of great teas, coffee and Boba. The environment is fun and relaxing, the staff is friendly and quick but best of all the food is great!“
“Great place to eat if you want authentic Korean flavored crispy fried chicken. I can’t recommend enough the Crispy Yang-Nyum (#7), Crispy real Garlic (8) and oven/fried Padak. Their food description is exactly what you get. Fries were well seasoned and enough to feed 4 people. The customer service is fantastic and genuine. They want you to have an amazing eating experience. And that is what I got.“
“If you like El Pollo Loco, Juan Pollo, or Charo Chicken then you'll love El Pollo Dorado which imo tastes far better than the others. Their mini pack meal is around $19 for a whole chicken cut into 6 pieces, with 8 oz sides of rice, beans, and potato salad plus your choice of mild or hot salsa and tortillas. Everything my gf and I have tried has been incredible in 2 weeks we've been back twice“
“Today I was craving wings and this was the nearest restaurant to my job. I am not your typical chicken lover if I don't crave it then I don't want it. I came in during lunch hour and got the lunch special. The wings were very meaty and extra crunchy. It was flavored perfectly with the secret sauce. I got the 6pc bone in wings and it came with fries and a drink. I will frequent again in the future.“
“This place is hidden on 4th street. There is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. It's not that busy later in the evening. The service was quick. The ambiance is super cute with the cherry blossom tree and the art on the wall with the chicken. This is a cashless place since they recently got robbed. So make sure to help out this small business!I got the original hainan chicken rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced right. The sauces that came with it was perfect. I love how chicken is cooked steamed as it was juicy and not try. I would get this again. If you're sick, get their herbal chicken soup. It has 5 spices and Gojo berry, which is beneficial when you're sick. I definitely will be back here to try their bubble teas too!“
“Great tasting char broiled chicken bowl and the chicken is never dry. The chicken is so tasty with such great texture that teriyaki sauce isn't so completely necessary like other places. In and out in 10 minutes or less usually. Unfortunately, it used to be the best dinner for 3 under $20 because each plate was ~$6. Now, they just raised the price at least $1 per plate so it's over $20.They make Rascals' consistently dry and flavorless beef and chicken seem so unnecessary....“
“My goto plate place since the mid-2000s. The pricing has been increasing, but the food portion and quality are about the same, and it's around 16 to 20$ a plate currently. The place has little parking up front and a small eating area, so I highly recommend phoning in the order and picking it up to go. The katsu and beef dishes ironically are better than the chicken teriyaki dishes as well.“
“After visiting a VW show in Long Beach and showing homes in the South Bay we wanted some genuine Filipino food and this smaller restaurant was rated as one of the best... for a good reason. Michelle is an awesome host, very talkative and informative. My mother-in-law was born and raised in Pampanga and the roots of the restaurant are Pampangan as well. Sisig and Silog were very nice, halo halo a welcome palette cleanser. Parking was not difficult, even though we arrived at around 1pm on a Saturday. 10/10, highly recommended!“
“Absolutely love this place. I think we've been eating here about once every 2 weeks for the last year or so now and it is consistenly great every time. We like the half crispy and half sweet spicy wings the most. I love that they make it fresh on order - so you're always getting hot crispy wings every time. Definitely give this a place a try if you're looking for good korean style wings!“
“Bird-N-Bun is a go-to and I absolutely love the sandwiches. The chicken is fried perfectly and juicy, whether you order original, spicy or deluxe. The loaded fries are very good, but the fries themselves are kind of whatever in terms of flavor but with everything else going on they kind of get away with it. Would be awesome if they loaded the original and spicy sandwiches with coleslaw like most other fried chicken sandwich places, so 4 stars for poor fry quality and having to pay extra for something that comes standard most other fried chicken places. Delivery is always fast, which is awesome when your hungry in a pinch. It's a ghost kitchen so there's not much in terms of ambiance, but the service is usually good if you go to pickup.“
“We got to meet Juan! He is amazing! Not only did he make us feel so welcome. He broke the menu down for us and showed great hospitality! One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what we've tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.“
“Delicious food, in a fun location! What more could you ask for? Good service? They've got that too. The guy behind the counter is hilarious and provides great service. Ordered the sunshine and Nutella love waffles which are Soo tasty. Also ordered a chicken sandwich minus the provolone and it too was wonderful.“
“I've been coming here for quite some time. The person in the front is very kind and always greets me in the warm and nice way. I have recommended this restaurant to a few people and their experiences were the same. My go-to is the Combo A, It comes with Rice and Teriyaki chicken, two rolls, salad and gyozas. The food is always fresh, and the taste is delicious. I can't stop eating at this restaurant. The food is great.“
“The korean fried chicken isso yummy here! I've tried a few other korean fried chicken places in the South Bay and this is my favorite. Can't go wrong with any of the flavors. But be warned - their spicy is seriously spicy. I love spicy and it was almost too much for me. I also highly recommend the rose toppoki.“
“The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the boneless wings are horrible. They are cut cubes of chicken breast that aren’t even tender that you can barely chew. So much oil in box it leaked out all over the bag and luckily I put it in another bag or oil would have been all over my car seat.“
“Hubby and I were craving for Korean fried chicken and searched up places on Ubereats to try. We were sold on this one and placed an order for golden original and spicy golden original. The chicken was yum and super crispy! I highly recommend their spicy golden chicken. My eldest doesn't eat spicy food but she said the flavor was too good and would suffer through heat haha. Food also came with pickled radish. Highly recommend giving this spot a try.“
“Update Review: 03-02-2024When you want some good Peruvian food or just want to get a drink or so, highly recommend this spot located here in Rolling Hills Estates. They have the best Anticucho De Pollo checken skewers and let's not forget the hot sauce! It's the BOM. For dinner meal, I would recommend the Lomo Saltado if you love beef with french fries, onions and green onions with cilantro and top it off with tomatoes. One of my favorite dishes. So instead of reading my reviews, come on down and try it for yourself.~Harry IrvineQuick and fast service at this location. Food is really good fresh and hot, highly recommended this place for thoses who never tried there food.Harry IrvineCalifornia Air Conditioning Systems“
“I came in for the first time super bowl morning and cashier was very sweet, I believe her name was Sandra, she recommended my girlfriend the number one combo which was 10/10. I thought it would be too much food but the portion was perfect and even had some leftovers. It was pretty busy but staff was very well managed and I got my order before the wait time she gave us.“
“This is my first time dining here. And, wow. So glad I did. From the friendly cashier to cleanliness and the quality and seasoning of the food. I'm definitely coming. The Galbi Rice Bowl is just perfect. Not spicy and a pleasure to eat. Parking outside is plentiful and convenient. It's located just inside, to the left before entering the market. Give it a try. You'll thank me.“
“The good: I had been craving fried chicken for 3 days but felt guilty about ordering it. I caved today and ordered some for a backyard picnic. I got the half order of bone-in pepper fried chicken for $20 thru delivery. It came with around 8 pieces. The chicken was hot, tender, juicy, and crunchy. I liked that it wasn't too salty, oily, or sweet. I liked the vented cardboard box it came in and how it was sturdier than KFC boxes. The pickled radish that came with it was sweet and crunchy. I definitely want to try their other flavors now. You can choose boneless options as well. The bad: The pepper wings seemed to have curry powder on it. It was a nice flavor but not what I expected. I would prefer it without it. It's a bit pricier than I expected. The interesting: I had a hankering for fried Korean chicken after watching the Try Guys' YouTube video on eating bb.q Chicken. They said pepper was their favorite so I ordered just that. The pepper wings look super peppery but don't taste as spicy as they look.“
“Hands down the best fries chicken in Long Beach and the BEST french fries. They are never soggy and always well salted. The chicken has come along way since opening and I love to get those juicy thighs. Japan and the South are tied for chicken fried deliciousness. So get some anime going and order some karaage and fries immediately.“
“I initially heard about this culinary establishment on recommendation from a neighbor who knows how to find the best restaurants. I was told that the food was amazing, the ambiance was happily centered around the kitchen, the chefs were friendly and personable...and there were only two tables inside. My first trip to Lacquered was with two good friends. We entered through the double-cleavered front doors, sat at one of the two indoor tables and proceeded to order many items off their regular menu: the half fried chicken meal, the garlic noodles, salmon and avocado spring rolls, fig and peach pita-za, and the crispy pork egg rolls, with four of their house made sauces. Ok. First of all: Best Fried Chicken in Long Beach. Many may argue this opinion, but they would be absolutely wrong. Five pieces of crispy, juicy, savory chicken with the perfect amount of seasoning. The accompanying (honey mustard) coleslaw is easily the best coleslaw I have ever tasted. The fig and peach pizza on pita bread was original and paired some wonderful tastes. The egg rolls were wonderful, the garlic noodles rode the perfect balance of garlic, scallions, butter and sauce. And the spring rolls held a hefty amount of salmon and avocado within their rice paper, with tangy sweet & sour sauce and a perfect peanut dipping sauce. Oh...the sauces: they make all their own sauces at Lacquered, too. Honey mustard, garlic sauce, peanut sauce, sweet & sour, ranch, BBQ...even the catsup! The kitchen makes them all from scratch and it shows. We finished the meal with Lacquered's Sticky Toffee Pudding and it was the right call. The three of us finished it (along with a delectably salty-sweet Crack Cookie) and felt no regret, despite all of the food that we so fervently consumed. We were stuffed, but not overly loaded. Throughout the meal, we got to meet Scott and Diana and learn about their history and how the restaurant came about: two fine dining chefs forced to deal with catering to COVID shortly after opening their restaurant. Most of their business is takeout or one of the many delivery services in the area, but please consider eating at the restaurant. Everyone who enters this eatery should appreciate what it is: a kitchen run by world-class chefs that caters to the people of Long Beach. If you are feeling lucky and have the time, I recommend trying to grab one of the two tables that are situated indoors at Lacquered. Order a variety of items and patiently wait for the food to arrive as it is readied. It could be a 90 minute meal or 2 hours, but I guarantee it will be worth any wait. Patience and understanding that each meal is made to order will pay off. Chef Scott and Chef Diana have a gem of a place hidden on Broadway. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Feel free to thank me later.“
“I ate there plenty of times so I know they have great service and food. There's nowhere to sit and eat but that could be a great thing for owners because it lets customers get in and get out. And for me that's how I like it, no extra people just kicking it and being loud.“
“I have been here 4 times already and every time I switch up the flavors, I lean more toward the wings(flats) and WOW its too good lol, Got to get the Texas toast and the waffle fries. don't forget the ranch and the honey mustardKid-friendliness: nice atmosphere, great decor.“
“The 2 piece strip combo with fries was good. It actually made me full. The vanilla cookie smoothie was good as well. I enjoyed it. It was just missing something else on the combo to give it more taste to the meal. I think just one piece is good enough to order. I honestly got a bit full when i ate the first piece. The hot sauce is good. I appreciate the service here.“
“Went to this honey dress in Torrance on Wednesday to order some wings and I truly really enjoyed the flavors!!! they have so many choices with the honey and classic wings the cashier was very helpful she explained to me the happy hour special they have. I’m definitely coming back and telling my friends about it.“
“Amazing Garlic Lemon Chicken! It truly is seasoned to perfection. Tried it for the first time yesterday and had to come back again today for take-out. Services is also amazing - very friendly. Now that I've discovered this place I'll be returning frequently. Highly recommended.“
“I've been to a couple locations before but this was my first time at this location and I had the best experience here. First off the food was amazing (it always is) and also Nick M was working the register today and he's got the best attitude in the world. The guy has a contagious attitude that is filled with joy and he will for sure be able to turn anyones bad day around (he did for me). I saw everyone he served leave with a smile! Please give this man a raise ASAP or better give home his own location because if you had this man train his own employees it would be the best Dave's location!!“
“My first time at this location and I gotta tell you I was impressed by the Employees so welcoming the store was very clean the set up was inviting the atmosphere was over the top .I live in sanpedro and I will surely make another trip to this location in the near future I highly recommend this store..*****Kid-friendliness: The staff was friendly“
“Not bad at allll. I've been passing by this place and I always wanna try it. I finally did. Chicken is fresh and tasty along with the beans and rice. I like how they offer homemade tortillas. For what I got, I thought it was fairly priced. The server Mia was nice and attentive. Although I wasn't too fond of the parking, what do you expect in Long Beach?“
“The pork tacos, wow the pork tacos...I've been here before, and was impressed with the pesto pasta w/chicken plate. But just had those pork tacos with pinto beans and FF. Thoroughly satisfied. The sauces they offer with all their dishes really enhance the experience.Parking: Its a small one, but theres street parking as well.“
“Delicious choices, cute little restaurant with a nice vibe.I asked for recommendations before orderingand the server was great. Offering descriptions and sharing his faves. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and sweet but could have used a tad bit more heat. The Bulgogi was seasoned nicely, veggies crisp and rice was fluffy“
“I ordered 2 spicy chicken ? sandwiches 2 orders of the 12 count chicken ? nuggets 1 large fry 1 regular Mac N Cheese two large drinksThis restaurant's food was very fresh the customer service from general manager Adrian was very inviting very nice I didn't have an issue but I chose to ask them to make sure that a manager made sure my order was made did exactly that Adrian stepped in handled all of my food it was fresh hot?As you can see in the pictures the restroom is not the cleanest but I give them some slack because of the time of day it was rush time and it was a lot of people in their lines so they probably needed all of their employees to get there wonderful Torrance City natives back home or to work for lunch“
“customer service is still not important at THIS storealso, wondering why my total is different EVERY week, when i always order the same thing!?!?!?Update: management at this site has changed, and the customer service lever has gone up so high that I would change this rating to 5*Mgmt must have charged again, cz as of today, CS was EASY down! guess good help is hard to acquire in this "me first" society... > left wo ordering anything bcs of it.“
“Very tasty Chicken Sandwiches and wraps. I recommend the cool wrap with avocado lime dressing for a healthier option, or the spicy deluxe for a hearty meal.Food comes out fairly quickly, but there can be a bit of a line. It's worth the wait though.“
“BRING OUT THE BEEE!!Very good fried chicken, I love the filipino spaghetti and the adobo rice is ? when you eat it wrapped w chicken skin and dipped in the gravy. Can get super busy during dinner. Good amount of seating and perfectly next to red ribbon and seafood“
“Food is great as usual. Maybe just me, but the size of their chicken fingers have return to normal size. Their service continues to puzzle me. I had to wait 10 minutes after the app's promise time while 2 Cane's cashiers waited with me. I'm pretty sure they could've helped in bagging my meals sooner.“
“They be doing they thing with their chicken, every time we go we always wait about 10 mins to get our food but it's so worth the wait. Chicken is freshly cooked to order, we'll season, and krispy Fries are thick krispy and just the right amount of salt, their macaroni salad is also fresh and amazing. Their service is the cherry on the top. The man who always takes care of us is always full of good energy and refuses to serve poor quality food he definitely gets "QUALITY OVER QUANTITY". We also asked him for small pieces of chicken and he always give us what we ask for ! A1 spot by far my favorite in Long Beach“
“The Original Chicken is fire! Taste like Churches chicken and Cane’s chicken mixed together. Crazy good! Kimchi fried rice is also one of my favorite things from there. The Dumplings need a sauce, they give soy sauce but it’s too over power on the soy. But if they could make like an asian zing sauce that would be great but alone is fire.Parking: They’re a lot of restaurants near by but you can find parking but be careful of cars pulling out because they reverse out pretty quickly.“
“I had the most amazing experience here today. I was greeted with kindness and with a genuine smile by Melissa. I admit I was a little indecisive on what to order and was taking my time, however she took my order with the outmost patience. Claudia also jumped in and help suggest something on the menu that I’ve never tried before. She based her suggestion after she asked me about my top 3 choices. Both Melissa and Claudia worked nicely to ensure my satisfaction was fully met. I will certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends and relatives, and want to give a virtual high five to both Melissa and Claudia for their outstanding customer service.Kid-friendliness: Claudia and Melissa provided the most outstanding customer service experience. Talk about team work and going above and beyond to out meet expectations“
