This restaurant is very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. We ordered taquitos dorados and they were HUGE. They were very flavorful. The pupusas were also HUGE! These were also delicious. The last plate was garanachas these were ok I’m not a fan of the cheese I believe it was cheddar. The meat was a little salty. Some of the best Mexican/ Guatemalan food in San Pedro. The lengua here is impeccable , it's fall apart tender. The homemade tortillas take all of their dishes to the next level. The quesadillas are extra large for sure. Their salsa bar is great with original, handmade salsas and chile sauces.
Ever since my wife and I discovered Jefe's. We haven't stop raving how good it is. Awesome spot to get Mexican, Guatemalan, and Salvadoran cuisine. The whole family that runs the restaurant are super nice and attentive. And the portions are big. So for sure come hungry. Everything is awesome and well prepared.
