They have everything dialed in: great service, fun atmosphere, and the most crave-able cuisine. Two weeks later, I'm still thinking about my chicken parmesan with the sneaky kick, and my boyfriend's tender, perfectly seasoned filet. They do the classics, but find ways to surprise you. Whatever you do, do not skip dessert. The coconut citrus pie, I want to say, is something between a key lime pie and Basque cheesecake, and it is one of the best desserts that I have ever tasted. Also, this might not be the first place you'd think to go for a perfect margarita, but the bartender can make you one. Shout out to our waiter, Brian, who was attentive, funny, and made us feel right at home.Parking: The hour that we went, the parking lot right across the street was free.“

You might even pass it up, but don't. This little Italian star is a must stop place. The authentic Italian cuisine and ample Wine Bar match the elegant decor within.Our server was an older Italian gentleman. He is quiet, direct, and efficient. He made sure we were well taken care of despite how busy things were and never made us feel rushed.My guest and I shared one of the best Caesar salads I have had in a long time. I then had the Tortellini Toscana (Veal & Prosciutto) prosciutto, peas, and cream. Divine! I love the taste of fresh made tortellini.My guest had the lasagna and was impressed with the flavor and texture.Lunchtime is busy, so be prepared. The staff were simply wonderful; attentive but never intrusive, knowledgable, and reminding me of the professionalism you see in a 1 star establishment. I was a bit worried about their interpretation of the steak tartare appetizer but it was a revelation..highly recommended. “Absolutely some of the best food I’ve ever had! True california/mexican food. Very healthy, affordable, fresh ingredients, incredible recipes. I would eat here every week if I lived nearby. We had the salad, sweet potato quesadilla, cauliflower tacos, agua fresca and flan. There was homemade hot sauce and homemade tortillas. Every dish was SO GOOD. I can’t wait to eat here again!“

Only complaint, their baguette is quite expensive, though absolutely delicious and served with really great butter. “Squalo Vino is more than a wine bar. It's a place to enjoy wine of course but it's the ambience and attention, particularly from Kelly that really sets it apart. “We love to come here to relax with a beautiful pink bubbly. I brought my step mom with me one afternoon, and the wait person was so much fun! He joked with us, brought us a beautiful charcuterie board, and told us a few stories about the bar and its patrons. We had a lovely visit, and my step mom was very impressed, which was important. Minutes from San Francisco, but carrying those legendary and desirable wines from the famous wine regions several hours drive from here. Sonoma, Napa, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara- all in here in this gorgeous wine room. (If you don't have the time to go there, go HERE.) “We have been looking for great pizza since we moved to Marin a little over a year ago. I am happy to tell you that we finally found it! This pizza is as close to Neapolitan style that can be found in Marin. They have unique and well thought flavor combinations, especially the "Pizza of the Month" offering. My favorite is the "Escalle": tomato, house mozzarella, house sausage, Zoe’s pepperoni & fennel pollen. I get mine with extra red sauce. They offer a take and bake option where your pizza will be mostly baked and you finish it off at home. This is a great option because your pizza will be as hot and fresh as possible when you pull it out of the oven. The pasta dishes are also tasty and well thought. If you have a sweet tooth I highly recommend the "Butterscotch Pudding" it is absolutely divine.“

It marred any enjoyment of the meal. When my sister wanted to go here for her birthday dinner last night , I said yes with my fingers crossed. Our server Christina greeted us upon arrival and throughout the dinner was attentive without being intrusive. She was knowledgeable and made wonderful recommendations. Stumbled across the store on my visit to Tiburon after walking off lunch from the Caviar Co and quickly became a highlight of my SF trip. You could easily spend a few hour sitting inside or on the front patio. Beautiful ambiance and it was refreshing to be given wine recommendations as opposed to guessing off a menu. Owner was kind and hospitable. If you're looking for a no fuss, relaxing spot with great wine, this is a must.“
“I found out about this place through a corporate at home wine tasting event and was excited to try their other wines. Went a couple days after Valentine's day and got the cutest Vday wine and chocolate pairing for only $40! It came with 5 tastings and 5 different truffles. I know everyone has different wine taste but per my palette, I really like this place because no matter if you're drinking rose, red or white, all the wines are extremely smooth. That's because they remove the tannins in the process instead of letting them age. Their intention is to drink the wine now, hence serving and selling mini 187mL bottles. The tasting rooms is small and cozy, with a huge counter and a couple lounge areas around it, but it was classy and chic, a perfect place to drink wine. The Manager (I didn't catch her name) was also extremely nice and helpful while explaining each wine to make sure we enjoyed it to the fullest. I will definitely be coming back to taste their new wines!“

“Wow! this is a great place to eat. Its' menu is packed with flavorful dishes. Don't sleep on the fish and chips. It is anything but basic. Beso is also a great place for outdoor dinning. The restaurant has frequently won the Taste of Marin Award. After you eat there you will see why. Oh, I also hear that they have a good wine selection. When you go don't forget to say hello to the owner. Yes it is one of those places where you are welcomed as if it is someone's home to sit down and sit a spell to visit for awhile.“
“Visited Tamalpie Sunday afternoon after a hike in Tiburon and was pleasantly surprised. They have a cozy outdoor seating area with a fire pit which is very nice. We ordered the calamari and Caesar salad to start. The Caesar was very good, but on the heavier side with dressing. We ordered the Tenderfoot and Railroad Grade pizzas, which balanced one another out perfectly. The Tenderfoot was a white sauce with mushrooms, while the Railroad Grade had your typical tomato sauce and provided the right amount of saltiness with the pepperoni. Loved that the pizza was super thin crust, yet held its form with a nice crisp. Would definitely come again if in the area!“

“Indian food made and offered with love. Some of the best indian food I've had in any restaurant in the country, made with true love. Chef has decades of global experience and it showed in the flavors and the cooking. We had paneer tikka, daal makhani and ordered two thalis and loved the ability to choose our lentils and curry of choice. The daal makhani was heavenly. The paneer was mind blowing. The breads were soft, freshly made and very filling. We had kheer and rasmalai for dessert and everything was just perfect. Strongly recommend. Service was excellent.“
