“Awesome stop for some authentic Mexican food! The Quesabirria will blow your mind, the Nopales Tacos are amazing, and I was not disappointed by anything I ordered! Asada, Pastor, Barbacoa! Yes I want to try everything!Vegetarian options: Had alot of options for vegetarians from vegetable tacos to mushroom and cactus (nopales) substitutes.Parking: No prob!“
“Stopped here most of the mornings during my visit. We were staying right around the corner! I ordered a decaf latte with oat milk and it was very good, on Saturday they even set up some tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee or smoothie. Don't be alarmed if the truck isn't there right at 6:30 - worth the wait!“
“My wife and I hired Fernando's Churros for our wedding and they did an absolutely fantastic job. Their setup was professional, incredibly efficient, and most importantly... our guests raved about the quality of the churros and kept coming back for more all throughout the evening. Would highly recommend the ice cream, multi-syrup, and sprinkles option they have. They also make churro trays for smaller events and I can tell you they're worth every penny. Will be using them from now on as they're such a crowd-pleaser. Likewise, working with Fernando and Fernanda makes the process a breeze. 10/10, best churros in town. ...and I've had a LOT of churros in SB.“
“Satisfied my tacos and flan craving! Cashier said our order would take 10 minutes but we got it less than that considering they had phone orders. Chicharron was not fried and pastor was on the drier side. Looking forward to trying other meats though! It's located in a small lot but there's tons of street parking on San Andres St. There were also two tables with two chairs if eating here is something you'd like to do.“
“The concept and flavor of this coffee truck is amazing. We found it right outside the Santa Barbara Mission, like right when you needed a pick me up, bam! Your prayers are answered. (get it?!) No complaints for the lattes, I can definitely see myself picking this up while out at the garden across the way as well. Who doesn't like a coffee with a view of a pink mission?“
“I was driving back to my hotel a bit disappointed with my most recent dinner. As I am about to pull in I see the truck out of the corner of my eye and man what a find!! The tacos coming from this truck are straight FIRE!! Simple and delicious. Thats how a taco is supposed to be. It was so good I came back the next night.“
“This is our "go-to" for lobster rolls. The best in LA, Malibu and Santa Barbara! 4 stars overall coupled with 5 stars for the food because they've gone too high with the prices! We're looking at almost $50 per person for a lobster roll, fries and 1 drink. We may start looking for a new fave.“
“SB Food Connection is amazing. We work with them on a corporate level and our employees are always excited to have them. Joe and his employees are so courteous and friendly. Their truck is always clean and the ambiance is very welcoming. I ordered a burrito with asada and al pastor the other day and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade tortillas are incredible and the beans and cheese are mouthwatering as well. Thank you!“
“As someone who has to eat gluten free, I am so thankful for Elubias! The papusas are all great. We tried a wide variety and liked them all! The nachos were great also. The gluten free burrito was great! The tortilla was amazing for a gluten free option. My one complaint was that it was a lot of beans in comparison to everything else but I still enjoyed it.“
“We really enjoyed our meal here. We went for lunch on a Friday, around 1p. There was no wait, and plenty of available seats. Service was quick and friendly. I had a Rajas con Queso and a Lengua taco. Partner ordered an Alambre plate. 3 tacos and a beer was just right for each of us. Lots of filling and good solid tortillas to hold everything.Parking:There are several parking spots directly in front, if your timing is right. No parking lot. We got lucky. Hopefully you will too!Seating:There are a few small tables and open counter seating inside, as well as some outdoor window stools where you sit out on the sidewalk and look in.Dogs:We usually bring our dog out with us, but didn't this time because we weren't sure of the seating arrangement. Outdoor seating could work for a well behaved dog, or (like ours), in a stroller. Keep in mind the outdoor stools are shared with a sidewalk, and Milpas is a very busy street.Side note: Me being curious about the name, I found this on the local website Siteline: "Pipeye’s motto (“Diga no a la pirateria!!”), written alongside the name, translates to “Say no to piracy,” which I assume reflects irritation with imitators." Followed by: "The Pipeye slogan is a cheeky homage to a popular anti-piracy phrase used in the 80’s and 90’s in film and music."(peep-eh’-ye)“
