“I decided to try,one morning, their miso-maple focaccia and since then I am hooked! It won me over instantly! Moist, flavorful without being over the top, just perfect balance. I can never resist marzipan so I had a frosnapper! Once again delighted with it! Let’s just say it didn’t make it home. I also love their pumpkin seeds sourdough bread, moist, full of seeds, excellent! Highly recommend.“
“Hands down best coffee and pastry shop in Santa Barbara County. Been coming here for about 6 months and have never wait less than a half hour but it is WORTH IT. Staff is so kind and thankful for all customers who walk through the door. Each drink and donut is hand crafted and you can tell there is a lot of love and passion in this business. Such a cute interior too!!“
“This is such a cute spot for breakfast, brunch, early lunch. Service is amazing, food is great. The way they have it set up is great, you get in line outside, then inside to order at the register then they have a table waiting for you. Servers are amazing. Clean restrooms. Right across from the BEACH.“
“Wow!!! Amazing experience and loved everything!!! Definitely a must return I want to try all their specialty coffees!! Pets allowed inside which was a major plus since it was a chilly morning. Bathroom location kinda sucks since you have to leave the establishment but it seems they have a good connection with the business next door.“
“The kind of coffee shop I'd frequent regularly if I lived in the area. I appreciate how early they're open since I am an early riser and need coffee right away when I get up. The staff were friendly, the selection of pastries is excellent, the coffee tastes fantastic and the interior is cool. It's also large which makes me think even when it's busy, there should be seating for everyone. Though it wasn't crowded when I was in to order takeaway coffee.“
“It is a very impressive sweets shop. The lanterns are whimsical and the decorations inviting. The variety of sweets is overwhelming! The Turkish coffee is served in a traditional style with a pice of lokum and a bit of water. Prices are exorbitantly high, but if you want a delectable treat it might be worth your while.“
“First time for everything and it was definitely my first time paying $$$ for a cup of coffee. Worth the try tho, great presentation but would I spend this much again? Maybe if I'm in town. Good coffee, should definitely try one of their specialities if you're new.“
“Jeannine's is one of our favorites when we visit cousins in Santa Barbara several times a year. The line, while off-putting at first, moves quickly and you've ordered and are seated soon enough to not make impatient kids crazy. We ordered the Challah French Toast breakfast with scramble eggs, Chilaquiles, Two Eggs over easy and a side of toast, and the oatmeal. All arrived well-presented and all reported as "super tasty." My only criticism is that, even though we were eating in and event though they thankfully provided cloth napkins, the coffee was in a paper cup and the water was in a plastic cup. Especially since you are situated right across the street from the beach, change to reusable cups and you will get 5 stars.“
“I stopped Dawn as I was exploring downtown. I happened by Dawn Cafe ± Market realizing that Dawn was having a Elite Yelp Event! I stopped in to get a Coffee drink and a bites. I decided on Alex's special Latte and a Ham and cheese pastry. Alex and Michelle were doing a great job of taking care of my needs as well as the other customers! The setting is quite pleasant. The space serves as the entrance to the drift hotel along with dusk the hotel bar. A very unique setup. I spoke with the hotel manager. The entire operation is online and keyless. And they are quite busy. I had a Great experience and it was Fun! Ronnie S“
“Such a cute spot and the food is incredible! Ordered the Los Alamos Burrito and both a hot and iced churro latte. I could have this combo every day on repeat it was so incredible. The people that took my order were so kind as well. Absolutely recommend!“
“I'm glad I was hinted towards this absolute juwel of a cafe! The chocolate croissant paired with the Hawaii 5-0 smoothie is incredibly delicious and the best I've ever had in the US. But honestly, it's the staff that has me raving about the place: Awesome and very kind people! Strong recommendation if you're in SB!“
“Absolutely charming a coffee shop in downtown Santa Barbara! My vanilla oat milk latte was delicious, and the rest of my family enjoyed the drinks they ordered. The pastries were also delicious! Stand out favorite was the almond croissant. Quality of coffee and treats are top notch! Plenty of seating on a weekend morning, and just had a great vibe overall.“
“I get my matcha powder at Vices & Spices and it's not only great quality, but it's a great price! They have lots of gift options if you're looking for something unique, and their tea and spice sections are both stocked very well. I've had their coffee once too and it was delicious!“
“If you’re a Santa Barbara local then you know that this place is what the locals are talking about. This is my first experience and so far incredible. I ordered caramel crunch donut and a breakfast sandwich. So fresh, so moist and so delicious I can’t wait to come back. And the cutest patio.“
“Visiting from outta town for a few days and really dig this spot. Great yummy coffee with a cool vibe and nice quick service. Yummy vegan options as well. Much preferred over Dune Roasters, which I found alright but not as good of coffee and painfully slow service.“
“Quite possibly the best locals coffee shop in Santa Barbara. Fantastic Friday Night Stand-up Comedy shows every week. Every week, great new professional comedians that perform at major Comedy Clubs.Parking: Free parking lot and plenty of safe street parking.“
“Parking is hard to get, construction doesn’t help finding this location but it is worth it although pricey. The only negative thing I have for this place is the water. It tastes like it’s coming straight out of the hose from outside. Not even tap water. Aside from that, the food and latte coffee were delicious! The special, chicken chilaquiles were surprisingly good! Spicy but tasted good! The single pancakes also great! The Madagascar vanilla latte perfect thanks to the server/cashier who made sure he made it perfect after seeing I was craving one! The straws are cheaply made.“
“I had heard good things of this coffee shop so came to try. The coffee was smooth and delicious. The service was great he was engaging and gave us stickers! The coffee shop had tables if you wanted to sit and enjoy coffee in store would serve in ceramic mug. Highly recommend“
“Good coffee, excellent breakfast burritos, and prompt service make The Daily Grind on DLV a frequent stop. I usually get a latte here and they are generally good sized and well prepared. We absolutely love the sausage burrito. It is a generous serving and includes very hot and flavorful sauce. Delicious. The place is typically busy, but the service is prompt. The staff's attitude runs the gamut from genuinely friendly to a little surely. But that's OK. I'm like that too. We return here every chance we get.Parking: Park in the back. It's usually available.“
“This is one of my favorite bars in SB. Such a cool place. It's a great place to hang out and grab some drinks. Bring cash though, no credit cards. They also have a pool table which is a nice feature. And plenty of couches. Lots of couches. The back patio is really nice as well. Never have tried the food. Parking can be a little slim on de la guerra, but try and find something on one of the neighborhood side streets if you can. The bartenders are very friendly. And if you don't drink they have plenty of non-alcoholic options.“
“Had coffee and pastries with a friend and it was a really nice coffee break. Ordinarily I'd go to the location on the Mesa but the downtown location has a lot going for it. Close to Kanaloa seafood, Kyle's Kitchen and Paseo Nuevo. You can get a nice coffee in the morning before work, or in the afternoon after lunch or shopping. Lots of seating inside and out and they are dog friendly. You gotta love that.Parking: First come first served parking, with a time limit so you'll usually find a spot. Full disclosure I'm usually parking a motorcycle... But there's plenty of space for cars. There is only one entrance and it's on the Chapala Street side.“
“What a great dinner we had!! This place has totally changed for the better! I picked up dinner for my family of 4 and we were all very impressed. I had the chicken enchiladas and they were delicious! Kids had wet burritos with the best verde sauce I have had in town. All the food was fresh, hot and well-prepared. Great job Del Pueblo, we will be back.“
“Wonderful first experience. Pastries looked beautiful and tasted amazing. I had a kouign-amann that was buttery, sweet, and beautifully layered. I also had a beignet that was perfectly and evenly filled with a light passionfruit cream. The reception from the staff was so kind and welcoming. They must've realized it was my first time there because they gifted me a baguette to take home too!! Great customer service and attention to detail. Will be back very soon!“
“Delicious acai bowl!! I came for breakfast and got the Works (16 oz) size with granola, chia pudding, peanut butter, vegan protein powder, and fruit. The presentation of the various layers was beautiful, and it also made it more enjoyable to eat (unlike most acai bowls with acai on the bottom and all the toppings on top where it's hard to mix the flavors around). I loved that they offered a great selection of unlimited toppings, especially chia pudding and vegan protein powder. The server was very kind and efficient. It was quiet and peaceful on a weekend morning. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in Santa Barbara!“
“Like all of the Dunes, here you get consistently well made barista drinks which you can sip and enjoy in a chill and hip atmosphere. I will continue to shout Dune's praises: the coffee is just as good as Handlebar without the insanity of the crowds. Thus, they're all (Dunes) great spots to grab a coffee and camp out, working, or for a quick to go pick me up.“
“We found this place on a whim, close by to another stop we had to make. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the patio and outdoor area - how I wish I had some work to do out there to have an excuse to enjoy it longer! It is a beautiful little oasis with the smell of roasting coffee wafting around you? It sounds like a great setting for working from home (or this sweet coffee shop). It's just a little pop-in-and-order situation, but their cozy space has so much personality - quirky art, plants, and coffee beans for purchase! I LOVED the dirty chai I ordered.“
“Good spot for breakfast/brunch Rollex- I ordered this with bacon. This was a no frills, straight forward meal. The african flatbread reminded me of a Chinese Scallion pancake, sans the scallions. Nice chew to it, and it paired well with smashed avocados, bacon, scrambled eggs and smoked tomato, though I didn't taste the tomato at all.“
“The concept and flavor of this coffee truck is amazing. We found it right outside the Santa Barbara Mission, like right when you needed a pick me up, bam! Your prayers are answered. (get it?!) No complaints for the lattes, I can definitely see myself picking this up while out at the garden across the way as well. Who doesn't like a coffee with a view of a pink mission?“
“Loved the vibe of this place would love to come and hangout for longer for either work or to chat with friends. The signature coffee was delicious, beautiful and luxurious I would say. And they have some dairy free options which was great for my partner.“
“Very friendly and open staff here; you'd never guess or feel like you're in Monticeto among the wealthy elites (which you are). The folks at Caffe Luxxe are so down to earth they even make friendly suggestions, since I'm no coffee connoisseur. And their Caffe Nico latte distinguishes them from other coffee shops, in Santa Barbara. This drink doesn't disappoint!“
“Love stopping by here whenever in the area. It's right next to the Honor Bar and they offer pizza, desserts and coffee. They also sell cute platters, wine, cups, cookbooks etc... a gift shop that you can buy some cute stuff. On this rainy Presidents' Day we stopped by to get some cookies and coffee for our ride back to LA. Very friendly staff. Great customer service skills. The cookies here are delicious and addicting. The cappuccino I got was also amazing. Check them out when in the area.“
“Stopped here most of the mornings during my visit. We were staying right around the corner! I ordered a decaf latte with oat milk and it was very good, on Saturday they even set up some tables and chairs to enjoy your coffee or smoothie. Don't be alarmed if the truck isn't there right at 6:30 - worth the wait!“
“Good lighting, lots of space, comfortable outdoor area. It’s exactly what you would expect from a chain coffee shop. Plenty of people quietly tapping away at laptops. The single stall bathrooms are clean and locked with a code. Years ago when this was a Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf the Santa Barbara Go Club met here weekly. They may still do so.“
“There's always a line in the morning, but don't let that deter you because it moves fast & there is plenty of parking. Friendly service and the BEST BAGELS and muffins. Nice seating area outside as well.Parking: This is in the Milpas shopping center next to Rite Aid. Lots of parking available.“
“Friendly service with a smile. Medium drip coffee is $4.05. My companion says it was quality coffee. He did squabble about the price being steep for drip. Not the best he ever had. Plenty of seating but a bit cramped. They keep the doors wide open so you get a whiff of coffee smell. Parking is plentiful with a huge lot next door. There is also street parking as well.“
“This is definitely a “local neighborhood” Starbucks, serving the Mesa. While this is not the most fancy Starbucks out there, I appreciate that the store is always clean and the service is always excellent. They always get my order correct, and I never have to wait longer than expected regardless of how busy it is. Of course, it’s Starbucks so taste and quality are consistent with other locations.Parking: Free parking lot for shopping center patrons. Can be busy but you can usually find a spot pretty easily.“
“Best breakfast place we had on our California road trip - by far. Their campfire French toast with smoked maple sirup (only on weekends) is next level, their avocado toast with cucumber super tasty and the cinnamon roll the best I ever had! We came back three times to Santa Barbara during our road trip and part of that decision was also the amazing breakfast at Helena's Bakery. You order at the counter and then look for a seat, indoors or outdoors. There is parking in the neighborhood if you need it, but I would recommend to walk over.A must go if you are in SB!“
