“Went for a drive and a hike today. Ended up finding this wonderful little hole-in-the-wall bar. Letty/Lettie (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) was so awesome! Super friendly and made us feel like regulars. Smiles and has conversations like you know her. Her attention to clients is 100%. I've worked in small bars for years so I know how they can sometimes be. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and really clean. I didn't play pool but they have a table. My only complaint is if you don't know the area Google maps does a horrible job of telling you where it is. For such a small area I didn't feel crowded. Will totally go again if I'm in the area. Thank you for the great experience!“
“This is our go-to Mexican restaurant since it opened. I really love the fish tacos and several of their specialty dishes. Quite honestly, the tacos are just great with their rice and beans. Ask for their hot salsa if you are up to it!Parking: Sometimes parking can be difficult, most times you can find a space.“
“Great food, great service. And nice atmidphere. Even though we were in a corner booth, the waiter made sure our glasses were full and checked on us often. Food is always good here. Love the salsa! Jase always waves from the bar. It feels like the staff actually cate that you're there.Parking: Excellent!“
“Loved this little diner. It was our first time there and we weren't disappointed. The waiters were friendly and patient as we weren't sure what to order. Our waiter was very accommodating to my order as well. It was quiet and clean, and there was plenty of seating inside. I'm not sure how it gets on the weekends as we went during the week.“
“The food was incredible. Our server Audra was a delight and even recommended a new wine that has become our neclw favorite. Restaurant is very well decorated and had a relaxing or calming type atmosphere. The exterior offers patio dinning with a beautiful garden like setting a water feature. We will definitely make this Restaurant part of our regular rotation.“
“The Backwoods Inn is a rustic steakhouse with the wonderful smell of mesquite in the air. One of the best things about the food is the flavor of the steaks come through without reliance on lots of salt or multiple additional seasonings. Maybe for some folks this is a negative, but not in our case. There is salt, pepper and steak sauces available to add to your food as you desire. Also, on the menu is a variety of seafood such as Halibut, shrimp, king crab legs, lobster and others. If you prefer, chicken, ribs, pork chops and/or pasta. Lots of choices for members of your party. We ordered the filet mignon, the sirloin, the stuffed baked potato, (it was huge) veggies, salads and garlic bread. All the food was delicious. In addition, Backwoods makes several of their own salad dressings, such as the ranch, blue cheese, and thousand islands. The service was on point and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Yet another great small business right here in Santa Clarita that is definitely worth your patronage.“
“If you are ever in the Santa Clarita Valley and are craving some delicious pizza come here!!!! The margarita pizza was amazing. It was piping hot, had a thin crispy crust, and the toppings were fresh. They also have a full bar. The staff are polite and attentive(Jesse/Monica), even the security guard (Brandon) at the front door was really nice. Just remember you have to be 21 or older to enter this establishment.“
“What a fantastic experience! Not one thing could have been better. From the moment we walked in the door to our departure we were treated with respect, urgency, and accuracy. We ordered a Santa Fe burger and trio fajitas, both were excellent. My wife downed two strawEddy margaritas, I had the free coffee for designated drivers; let's just say the night ended pleasantly. Thanks again, we'll be back soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“
“Great place for a night out with friends to grab drinks! Dance a little! I had to deduct a star because one of the things I really disliked was that there is only one bathroom with one toilet. Women and men each have their own, but who likes waiting in line ? other than that, it's a fun little spot!“
“Great new find~stopped by chance for the Sunday champagne brunch and there is a whole lot of options.Regular hard shell tacos if u'd like. Waffle station~omelet station~dessert station ~refried beans~carnitas~fresh made corn tortillas ~etc...Family owned for over 20 years but they are so busy that @times the staff is overwhelmed and "don't hear u"U have bottomless glasses of Tamarindo water and horchata as well as OJ for ur champagne! Prepare to spend a pretty penny.Fresh and clean♡I'd return fo'sho!?“
“Food is tasty but unfortunately the service at this location is not very great. No smile or greeting from hostess and waitress was not great either. This is not the first time service has been poor at this restaurant. But we come back for the food!“
“I opted for the "Eggs n' Such" from Telly's Charburgers as a to-go order and was thoroughly impressed. The service was great, and the standout was undoubtedly the hashbrowns and bacon. The hashbrowns were perfectly crisped.“
“Had a cracking time at Rose & Crown this weekend. Perfect little local pub with a cozy atmosphere. Snagged a seat at the bar, which got a bit busy at times since there's no dedicated bartender, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone served.More importantly, the drinks were spot on! Enjoyed smooth pours of Guinness, a refreshing ale, and a perfectly balanced Black Velvet (kudos to whoever mixed that!). Topped it all off with some delicious fish and chips – a classic done right. Our local friendly pub with a good selection of beers and tasty pub fare!“
