“I’ve tried a lot of Chinese Restaurants and am always disappointed but this one is a winner!!! We were truly missing a great Chinese Restaurant in Santa Clarita and now I can say D&D is my favorite. I had the Beef in Oyster Sauce, Kung Pao Chicken, Shrimp with Garlic Sauce, the combo noodles, and the combo Fried Rice. All delicious!!!! The people are also nice as well and the environment is all new and posh. Next time I’ll dine in instead of ordering to go so I can get the full experience! A+”
“This Italian restaurant makes me yearn for my hometown in central NY! Authentic feeling with a very full menu to choose from. We ate in the bar area on a very busy Saturday evening. My husband had a beautiful plate of linguine and clams, the flavor was distinct and excellent. I had the lobster half-moon ravioli in a really nice tomato cream sauce. The spinach salad was also quite good. Special mention of the warm bread with traditional olive oil & balsamic available for dipping. All the food was served at the right temperature, service was truly excellent, from the valet, to the hostess to the bartenders and servers. For dessert, we brought home Tiramisu and we both agreed it was the best we have ever had! We look forward to returning for another wonderful dinner...soon! “Bomb ? af.... Most boba nowadays isn't with the price. You don't get many bubbles & the cups are short. Teaspoon is just the opposite! HUGE CUPS with perfectly squishy boba in it! I got theist traditional black tea boba with a shot of nitro cold brew. It's truly one of the best boba drinks I've ever had in life, and that's saying a whole lot! Very clean atmosphere as well with beautiful decor & nice staff. I highly recommend!”
“Came in with a friend the other day and I just have to leave a review because I absolutely love this place! The owner was soo sweet and she even informed us they get most of their ingredients fresh daily and they hand make their own vanilla!!! Snagged a seat at the bar, which got a bit busy at times since there's no dedicated bartender, but the staff did a great job keeping everyone served.More importantly, the drinks were spot on! Enjoyed smooth pours of Guinness, a refreshing ale, and a perfectly balanced Black Velvet (kudos to whoever mixed that!). Topped it all off with some delicious fish and chips – a classic done right.Our local friendly pub with a good selection of beers and tasty pub fare!”

My order is a regular iced rose peach green tea with honey instead of sugar, no boba or milk ($4). Simplistic esthetic, spaced out seating, chill music playing, polite staff and clean gender neutral bathroom. Definitely would recommend over the busy chain coffee place across the street.”

“What a gorgeous Outdoor Shopping Mall just like Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga, CA., is. I was out here on a destination-centered exploring trip. I decided to support a tea shop here in Valencia, CA. It took me awhile to find this particular 'Tea Shop,' but was fortunate enough running into a security guard. I found the right street number and all, but it was tricky because the front door is located on another side of street parking. My lucky day today out here in Valencia, CA., because I first located free parking before I found the tea shop. I ordered 'House milk tea with pudding and boba,' and the barista was generous, she sent me a LOT of content. This drink is so large I still have it right now as I'm penning this review. I hope to be back? But I'll try other Shareteas in the Los Angeles, CA., area next trip out.”

Table has touch screen with menu with fast software and pictures that I can understand what to order. I ordered Ramen and Philadelphia roll with tempura outside. The roll was amazing with creamy Philadelphia, the rise was gentle and fresh-soft. Amazing. Ramen was so delicious, only the mushrooms were a little bit despicable. I paid $33.95. For this price I will give 5+++.”

“Everything about Newhall Press Room was just about up to my expectations for it, based on its location, philosophy (per web sites descriptions), and reviews from other trusted Yelpers. So, all in all, this was a good experience for a Sunday brunch on a popular holiday. The menu was good enough for a vegetarian. The fact that you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time on Sundays was a nice extra. The California Benedict appealed to me and I was able to have the bacon kept out. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly, efficient, and professional. We got a perfect table for me, right next to the large windows (clean) on Main Street and below the large screen tv. We lucked out and got a parking space right in front -- yay, that's rare. The food was good, the portions were modest but enough so we could take some home. Jennifer and the kitchen gifted us with two small delicious sugared cinnamon muffins -- wasn't that nice? Main Street is festive now on weekends with all the shops and gastropubs that have opened and are seemingly thriving through all the challenges they face these days and the fact that Old Town Newhall is a bit off the beaten path. That lends itself to feeling like we had an outing even though it was a relatively casual midday meal. The beer menu is good and I was able to get Dark Star Oatmeal stout, as I do like an occasional 4oz of beer (it came in a frosty 16 oz glass), and it always has to be the darkest beer available. I don't like any other kind and am not a drinker. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other gastropubs in LA county, so, bottom line, this is a good place to try. Now, one thing I have to point out is the unexpected missing character, for lack of a better term, that the interior has and thus the rather bland atmosphere inside. This, despite a great tin ceiling (see pictures), the walls of bottles, and the black wood tables and chairs, all upscale touches. Somehow the walls look empty even with a couple of unremarkable art pieces. For example, NPR has apparently won some prestigious and valued awards, but they are placed on a relatively inconspicuous wall, lost on the stretch of whiteness of that spot and thus almost forgotten or trivialized. I meant to take a closeup of them and forgot -- proving my point. The entire indoor space needs something extra to add a bit of excitement. Also, my Benedict eggs were almost cold when they came. This is probably because after they were cooked, cold avocado and tomato were place on them and chilled them down. However, that was almost made up for by being on biscuits -- love that idea -- even though these were a bit dry and not likely made same day. There is a good size patio for outdoor dining and a good wine and spirits menu. They definitely honored St. Patrick's Day. I wish I could be more superlative; it wouldn't take much to notch it up to great. I want to try it again soon.”

I got the salmon plate and that was one of the best crispy skin salmons I've had in a long time. My partner got the fish and chips and he said the same. One of the best fish and chips he has had. Our group of 5 instantly fell in love with her the moment we laid eyes on her. Impeccable service from this beautiful woman and everything from the top of her head to the tip of her toes. For Dia de Los Reyes they made roscas and for Valentine's Day they made heart conchas... so sweet and such an amazing idea! They are always very helpful with custom orders too :)”

“Located inside of Shell, usually there is NOBODY in line which is great. Staff is friendly, the food stations seem fairly clean, though not spotless. There are only 3 or 4 tables and each seats 2 people max, so this is NOT a good place if you come with more than 1 person and you'll also constantly feel the wind as the convenience store automatic gate keeps opening and closing (i.e. dust will come in). I recommend doing things to go... the subway rewards program is ok, nothing spectacular or worth signing up.”

My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time. “What a gorgeous Outdoor Shopping Mall just like Victoria Gardens, Rancho Cucamonga, CA., is. I was out here on a destination-centered exploring trip. I decided to support a tea shop here in Valencia, CA. It took me awhile to find this particular 'Tea Shop,' but was fortunate enough running into a security guard. I found the right street number and all, but it was tricky because the front door is located on another side of street parking. My lucky day today out here in Valencia, CA., because I first located free parking before I found the tea shop. I ordered 'House milk tea with pudding and boba,' and the barista was generous, she sent me a LOT of content. This drink is so large I still have it right now as I'm penning this review. “Went for a drive and a hike today. Ended up finding this wonderful little hole-in-the-wall bar. Letty/Lettie (sorry if I spelled that incorrectly) was so awesome! Super friendly and made us feel like regulars. Smiles and has conversations like you know her. Her attention to clients is 100%. I've worked in small bars for years so I know how they can sometimes be. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and really clean. I didn't play pool but they have a table. My only complaint is if you don't know the area Google maps does a horrible job of telling you where it is. For such a small area I didn't feel crowded. Will totally go again if I'm in the area. I appreciate that they are so accommodating when you call to place an order and they'll wrap the cake if you're traveling further distances. “Everything about Newhall Press Room was just about up to my expectations for it, based on its location, philosophy (per web sites descriptions), and reviews from other trusted Yelpers. So, all in all, this was a good experience for a Sunday brunch on a popular holiday. The menu was good enough for a vegetarian. The fact that you can get breakfast/lunch/dinner at any time on Sundays was a nice extra. The California Benedict appealed to me and I was able to have the bacon kept out. Our server, Jennifer, was very friendly, efficient, and professional. We got a perfect table for me, right next to the large windows (clean) on Main Street and below the large screen tv. We lucked out and got a parking space right in front -- yay, that's rare. The food was good, the portions were modest but enough so we could take some home. Jennifer and the kitchen gifted us with two small delicious sugared cinnamon muffins -- wasn't that nice? Main Street is festive now on weekends with all the shops and gastropubs that have opened and are seemingly thriving through all the challenges they face these days and the fact that Old Town Newhall is a bit off the beaten path. That lends itself to feeling like we had an outing even though it was a relatively casual midday meal. The beer menu is good and I was able to get Dark Star Oatmeal stout, as I do like an occasional 4oz of beer (it came in a frosty 16 oz glass), and it always has to be the darkest beer available. I don't like any other kind and am not a drinker. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other gastropubs in LA county, so, bottom line, this is a good place to try. Now, one thing I have to point out is the unexpected missing character, for lack of a better term, that the interior has and thus the rather bland atmosphere inside. This, despite a great tin ceiling (see pictures), the walls of bottles, and the black wood tables and chairs, all upscale touches. Somehow the walls look empty even with a couple of unremarkable art pieces. For example, NPR has apparently won some prestigious and valued awards, but they are placed on a relatively inconspicuous wall, lost on the stretch of whiteness of that spot and thus almost forgotten or trivialized. I meant to take a closeup of them and forgot -- proving my point. The entire indoor space needs something extra to add a bit of excitement. Also, my Benedict eggs were almost cold when they came. This is probably because after they were cooked, cold avocado and tomato were place on them and chilled them down. However, that was almost made up for by being on biscuits -- love that idea -- even though these were a bit dry and not likely made same day. There is a good size patio for outdoor dining and a good wine and spirits menu. They definitely honored St. Patrick's Day. I wish I could be more superlative; it wouldn't take much to notch it up to great. I want to try it again soon.”

Also, on the menu is a variety of seafood such as Halibut, shrimp, king crab legs, lobster and others. If you prefer, chicken, ribs, pork chops and/or pasta. Lots of choices for members of your party. We ordered the filet mignon, the sirloin, the stuffed baked potato, (it was huge) veggies, salads and garlic bread. All the food was delicious. In addition, Backwoods makes several of their own salad dressings, such as the ranch, blue cheese, and thousand islands. The service was on point and all the staff were friendly and helpful. I love California burritos and was surprised to see it on their menu! They didn't offer shrimp as the protein but I asked and they had to call another worker over to get it set up for me and they were able to do it. We also got some fish taco plates to go. We grabbed some limes and lemons and other salsa from their bar and shortly after, our food was ready. We drove home to enjoy it and even my mom really liked it! Wish we had one closer but this was worth the drive. I loved my California burrito with grilled shrimp. Super flavorful and the fries weren't hard, even reheated! The sushi honestly is better than most spots in SCV. The albacore here is my favorite. The rolls are great too. The service has always been attentive and friendly. I sit at the bar and the guys that serve me have always made my experience not only friendly, but accommodating. They put soccer on for me, or a dodger game. I have zero complaints about this place. I've eaten a lot of sushi and I feel like some people think that bigger portions equal better quality, which is absolutely not true. The fish and ingredients are fresh here and that's what I'm paying for. The music is always on point in here too.”

“First let me start this off by mentioning how FURIOUS I was when I left the hub yesterday. I ordered my food inside and waited an hour to finally receive it. I was like super mad... I even asked the cashier to let the owner of MGF know how angry and annoyed I was LOL. I was complaining the whole way home that I would never go back. Let me tell you something though.. My attitude completely changed when I opened up the bag of food at my house.. Holy shit. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the catfish, Mac and cheese and bbq baked beans. This food was . Like stupid good. Like so good I'm definitely going back and definitely waiting an hour if I have to (I'll place the order on the app next time in advance.) The catfish was super delicate and perfectly seasoned it was perfect... probably the best I ever had. The Mac and cheese and baked beans were the best I've ordered from anywhere in a long time. The cornbread was fire. The meal was so good my wife and I are low key planning a picnic somewhere soon, JUST so we can order the bucket of chicken that they offer so we can try that. My current message to the owner is: Your food is insanely good. 11/10 exceptional. It's still not right to make people wait an hour for it, y'all got to get a more efficient system back there because that's just crazy. The entire lobby was sitting in there waiting for there MGF orders for what seemed to be forever.. But the food was worth it and I'll be back. I'll just place my order WAY TF ahead of time.
