The View at Chaminade offers an outstanding new menu with dishes like Wonton tacos and Morrel mushrooms on Scallops. The drinks are great too, including the excellent Manhattans. The restaurant could improve the ambience by adding more music. The views are wonderful, overlooking the Monterey Bay. The service can be hit or miss, with some customers experiencing forgotten orders and delays. However, the food, like the beet salad, prime rib, and baby back ribs, is excellent. The restaurant also caters to dogs with their own menu. Overall, The View has improved and is worth another visit.
