“Stopped in because Vegan Pizza was advertised and did not disappoint! The hot honey topping was perfect on the melty vegan cheese/veggie pizza. The wheat crust had an interesting fold and was crispy. I highly recommend the cinnabread! I ordered the candied pecans and ate the whole thing before I left the parking lot. 10/10 will return for another tasty pie or six!Vegetarian options: Veggie options and even a vegan option, too!“
“Every dish is moderately seasoned. The best Chinese food I have eaten in the Bay Area (?) so far is actually in Santa Cruz! The scallion chicken is something I, a person who doesn’t usually eat white rice, enjoy the deliciousness of the scallion rice and the beef bones. Lots of slightly spicy ingredients, highly recommended! Remember to look at the hidden menu hahaha“
“Small eatery with outdoor eating area and a local favorite in Santa Cruz. They have consistently good food with a chill vibe. I avoid this place when it’s busy however since parking and waiting can be a problem. Food is delicious and reasonably priced.“
“Very fresh authentic Mexican near Capitola. The free chips and unlimited salsa at the salsa bar are to DIE for. I got two shrimp tacos and one fish and they were very well seasoned and generous with the protein. My girlfriends got burritos and quesadillas and they said everything was delicious. Glad we stumbled across this hidden gem“
“I feel like there’s an unwritten bay area vegan rule that if you see a GATS sticker or tag, the place is solid - this spot has 3 so you know it’s real, lol. For reals though this is a go-to for my wife and I, the crew are always so damn kind and they have mad vegan options. Come get you a not-chicken sandwich (don’t be an idiot and come here and get upset it isn’t real meat), some fries with vegan ranch, and any of the drinks- they’re all good. Then post up on the patio and chill. Also if they have the pistachio praline soft serve: do it. Twice. “Dharma's is amazing. I love their breakfast burritos - I ask for no beans and extra tofu, and it's amazing! Their kitcheree is also fantastic - very good if you are feeling under the weather. Lots of chopped up ginger for your immune system. I also love their American Saute and their Bo Thai, but I just wish they sauteed regular tofu instead of using the baked tofu that they use now. That's a serious bummer. And their miso honey with the American Saute rocks. Try it!“
