“Ordered the white fish meal through delivery service from the Sante Fe Springs location. Though the delivery time was off, my food was still hot and did not appear to have been sitting in the container for an extended period of time. The white fish was not greasy and there was plenty of sauce for my meal. This was a sufficient size portion so we ordered extra size of macaroni salad and just shared the fish. The fish also sits on a bed of cabbage for those who enjoy cabbage.“

They packaged it neatly and provided some napkins and utensils as well! Great service although I can’t speak for the atmosphere.Would definitely recommend the musubi for anyone who likes sweet and salty combinations! The katsu is okay but was a little too oily for me.“

From left right: *Iced Coffee *Ube Coconut Pancakes *Hamburger Patty Loco Moco *Kids Cheese Omelet with Fruit *Kalua Pork Omlette with Potatoes I must say, the Ube Coconut Pancakes were actually good and not overly sweet. They were pretty light and fluffy, too! I'd recommend it! You can't go wrong with Loco Moco. I couldn't quite decide what to eat so I went with a dish, I already know I'll like. They have different options of protein that you can choose from, too! My Dad said the Kalua Pork omlette was very filling. It was actually jammed pack with Kalua Pork. My daughter likes egg and cheese, so that was a win for her. I highly recommend this spot, especially if you're looking for that good hawaiian meal. Keep in mind, their hours of operation is only from 6:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m. There's a good amount of seating area inside, but it does get busy. The earlier, the better. Also, you order your food first at the counter and then find a table.“
“I had the breakfast plate with fried chicken. The breakfast plate comes with 2 eggs and choice of sauce (either sweet sauce or teriyaki sauce). There's a lot of food with just this dish. The chicken is covered in batter and you can choose how you want your eggs cooked. The chicken was good and the entire dish was decent. When you park and you're entering the restaurant there's a sign that says 'macadamia pancakes' so I definitely added the short stack (2 pancakes) to my meal. I had a few bites of the pancakes so I can enjoy the fluffiness and taste of the dish. The pancakes were huge and topped with cream and macadamia crumbles. Really tasty. Of course, I wasn't going to finish this during my visit and I took it home. After eating the chicken the following day I decided it was very oily because of the batter and the way it was cooked. The pancakes were still okay. I'm a little saddened because I really thought I would be wow'd by this place, but I wasn't. It wasn't bad or anything I just higher hopes. I would still come back and try the other items on the menu.“
“Came here on a rushed lunch. I came another time with a PLANNED and EAGER lunch. The food taste fresh. Their teriyaki bowl is a perfect proportion. It was sweet, tangy and perfectly dressed with crunchy lettuce. Good place to sit down and eat. I'll definitely return for many lunches.“

“A spot right on the corner in uptown Whittier. My husband and I were walking down the street and didn't know what to eat. Whittier is home away from home. We used to live nearby and take in all our favourite foods. We happen to be in the area and see all the updated shops and restaurants. We decided to try something new and We were so glad we did. Teriyaki Bistro was so welcoming when we walked in. We chose our option of plate/bowl and our toppings. I thought the toppings were a fun little treat. We waited less than 10 min for our food and ate downstairs. The restaurant was clean and had everything you needed. The restroom is located inside that needs a key. Don't worry you can't lose the key... It's attached to a metal serving spoon ?Save some room for dessert. They have ice cream sandwiches.“

The bowl was pretty good but was blown away by all the creative protein choices and saw they had Loco Moco on the menu so I had to got that route. Have not had it since a trip to Kauai. Was pretty on point but could’ve used a little salt. Also got the shrimp tempura which was delicious. Took a little under 10 minutes for the order to be completed and I will def be back to try the rest of the choices.“

There are only about 6 tables with 4 chairs each, but if it's only you and your date it's perfect. The decor is a lot of Salvadoran art and some plates with Salvadoran currency. “I was craving poke and found out about this place through Yelp. Came here during my lunch break and it's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Nice ambiance inside, felt like a hole in the wall place. They had a good variety of poke flavors to choose from. I decided to get two flavors which came with rice. I choosed spicy mayo and Hawaiian limu (similar to shoyu). For $15, they gave me a good portion of rice and poke. The poke tasted fresh and the dressings all tasted good. Overall, a good solid poke place, would come back again!“

I had no clue, honestly, what I was building as I filled out their order form--but, upon presentation it was beautiful and full of fresh ingredients. Chef was very helpful in helping my dining partner pick out a spicy sauce that would suit his choices, while mine had a normal level of heat and just the right mixture of spicy mayo and dressing for the salad. Considering the rising costs of fast food, sometimes it's worth a few more dollars to treat yourself to a healthy meal that doesn't leave you feeling ashamed for splurging. Their fish is fresh and doesn't have any fishy smell that's noticeable if the fish becomes old. Serving sizes are generous on all fish and mixings. The attendants where both courteous and listens to whatever you want added in short service was promptly done on all your orders.“
