Santa Monica Brew Works Brewery • $$
1920 Colorado Ave suite c, Santa Monica

“Went here last night around 6:30 and the server was the cutest, sweetest gal!! We ordered the Parmesan fries crispy, with ranch on the side (wow yum!!) and we had a glass of Pinot Grigio (super light and refreshing) my bf ordered a beer but it was a canned one- next time he would get something on draft. We had the arugula quinoa salad- spicy, delicious. My bf hates arugula but enjoyed it along with me, and we had the kids chicken tenders and fried (massive portion!) we can't wait to go back whenever we are in the area to catch a sunset on a warmer summer day. Highly recommend this place for dates, groups, parties, meets ups for friends and kid friendly too. We sat inside in a booth but the area outside on the patio was decorated so beautifully with lights. Price point for all our food was $53 so well worth it! Only complaint is that they don't have gluten free options- I would have ordered the pizza or beer if they had!“

“LA Ale Works in Culver City is awesome! They have trivia every Tuesday, hosted by Lucky Guess Trivia, and specifically trivia master Drew. The questions are challenging, the host is hilarious and it's just simply a good time! The bar itself is cozy, drinks are great and added bonus that it's dog friendly. :)“

“I hosted my birthday at SoCal Vibes this past weekend and really can't say enough good things about the experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, and the staff (Aerin, Spencer, Emma, and Maya) were all so helpful and accommodating. It sounds like a cliche given the name, but the energy of the space and the employees is exactly what'd you hope for when you think of the phrase "SoCal Vibes."On top of all that, the cost for the birthday was less than half of what a few other comparable bar/restaurants in the Venice/SM area were quoting me. That's not a knock on the other places, SCV is just very reasonably priced if you're looking to host a large group. Highly recommend anyone reading this consider SoCal Vibes whether you're planning an event or just need somewhere to unwind on the west side.“

“My favorite brewery here in Hawthorne. Staff is always great and friendly. Love their events too. Yeah parking isn't the greatest, but there's plenty nearby. Common Space and LA Ale works have parking issues too sometimes. Just waiting for them to bring back coffee on tap - it was delicious!“

Firestone Walker Brewing Company - The Propagator Brewery • $$
3205 Washington Blvd, Marina Del Rey - 3.19 miles

“Yelp Review: Went to Firestone Walker Brewing Company for trivia night yesterday and it had a lively crowd. With fun questions, a hype host and solid outdoor seating it was a nice environment. The staff was really friendly as well. The only downside was that the benches for outside seating weren't the most stable and could easily tumble if a customer isn't too careful. Ordered the chicken schnitzel and a basket of fries. The chicken was fried perfectly with nice crisp edges and full of flavor that it was a delight to eat by itself, although I added hot sauce to give it a little kick.(4.5/5) The fries were what you'd expect from galic parmesean fries, not too flashy but done pretty well. (3.5/5) Had a biere de mars and it just tasted like a normal beer with a tinge of lemon to me. I'm not a fan of beer personally and rating it wouldn't be fair in my opinion. I finished the night with their arnold palmer. I think the lemonade aspect of the drink could have been a tinge better but it was a solid drink. (4/5)“

Three Weavers Brewing Company Brewery • $$
1031 W Manchester Blvd A-B, Inglewood - 7.8 miles

“In 2024 I decided to be better about supporting local businesses in my neighborhood. I was finally able to check out Three Weavers brewing & I'm glad more breweries are popping up in this area. They have a private lot which is always a plus. They have various food options depending on the day which seems to change weekly. The day I was there, they had an Korean taco style food truck. Seating was plentiful outside and a good amount inside. They had umbrellas but no heat lamp. The beers that I tried were all good. Service was ok, I think it could be improved as most of the breweries I've gone to in LA usually had above average service. I've become quite particular about service being a huge factor when it comes to repeat visits. Food/drinks have gotten so expensive in general, I want above par, extra friendly service. But overall it's a great place to grab a beer.“

El Segundo Brewing Company Brewery • $$

“I stumbled in here by accident not realizing it was THE EL SEGUNDO BREWING COMPANY. I have always wanted to visit here and drink some of Stone Cold Steve Austin's beer and it did not disappoint. Furthermore, the food truck they had in April for steak and cheese sandwiches was delicious! A must if you are visiting LA.“

“First time here on a Saturday night. Great beer selection, fast and friendly service, heaters outside, and really fun love music (that wasn't too loud). The food truck option was also good. We can't wait to go back! Only wish they had more to-go can options because we loved the beers.“

Boardroom Brewery at Arena St Brewery • $$
211 Arena St, El Segundo - 8.32 miles

“The Boardroom is a new brewery that just opened a few blocks away from downtown. It's located in a former hangar where airplane wings were once built for the military which is kind of cool. They have both tables in the front and back and there's usually a food truck parked out back. In terms of the beer, everything I tried was solid. They just stick to the basics in terms of the styles, but they do them all well.“

Culture Brewing Co Manhattan Beach Brewery • $$
327 Manhattan Beach Blvd, Manhattan Beach - 10.38 miles

“Chill local brewery, very very dog friendly. I found a spot at the bay window and commenced people watching and trying all their IPAs. Of the 6 they had on tap, the Southern was my favorite, but the blood orange session came a close second. I didn't get sloppy and kept it to 3oz pours while I read a chapter. You can conveniently order Pitfire pizza from your phone and they'll deliver to you. Even with a koozie and tip my bill was still under $20!“

“This experience met expectations. The restaurant was generally clean and well-maintained. However, the atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable due to music volume in the dining room, which made it difficult to hear others in my party and the server was impacted, too, because he didn't hear mods nor special requests to our order and wrong items were delivered to our table. The food was satisfactory; nothing special. We ordered chicken alfredo, chicken parm, broccoli cheese soup and the avocado spring rolls app.The restrooms were clean and well stocked.A satisfactory visit, but wouldn't rush back.Kid-friendliness: Reasonable kids menu to choose from.“
