“The minute we stepped into this restaurant, we were greeted by a nice young lady (who my four-year-old child greeted with a nice compliment of her dress). She placed us near the open kitchen and after we ordered, we were surprised with a plate of little munchies including grapes, celery, carrots, cheese, chips, and peanut butter (for free). My daughter devoured this. We ordered a cheese pizza for her and a sausage and caramelized onion pizza and three grilled shrimp tacos. We also shared truffle fries- which we were planning to take home but never quite made it since we ate it all. The food was great- the smokiness of the sauce in the tacos paired with the grilled shrimp and the freshness of the slaw in the tacos made it perfectly balanced. The ambiance felt lively with the open kitchen. I loved watching them place the pizzas in the beehive oven and the pizzas came out perfect. The staff was very attentive and filled our drinks when it was running low. I was very impressed with this place and will be returning with my family again.“
“Visiting Santa Rosa and you're looking for a local steak house definitely try Starks. Staff are friendly and know steaks and wines! Leo helped us to understand the menu. We were extremely happy and the steaks were delicious paired with a great red wine. Recommend and we'll be back!“
“Had a great table in a great setting, great service with Paul, and great food. Lucky us! I have one tip, if you are on a low salt diet this is gonna be hard to pick out something. This is not a criticism. I did find it at the upper end of my personal tolerance, but please understand the food was delicious. Not only delicious but refreshingly creative. We eat by splitting courses. Started with the pimento cheese bread (brioche), this is not a stand-alone ap but a gooey topping on bread that is light, airy, and rich. It went well with their well above average Negroni. Creativity kicked in with the tacos, probably all of them are good. Our pick was pastrami tacos. Very fun. I've heard the duck choice is good. Next were the lamb meatballs. Some people complain about the gaminess of lamb, but I complain when it isn't gamey-lamby enough. If you like mild lamb, their choice of meat is great. My personal preferences aside, it was a very good dish. Finished with a very nice and just-right panna cotta. This place is definitely going into our rotation (The Santa Rosa, CA rotation: B&B, Jackson's, Grossmans, Ca Bianca, Cascabel, Yeti)“
“A+ service and food. Beef Cheek, Salmon, Scallops, Onion Soup and Creme Brule (huge) were extremely well prepared. Beef fell apart with a fork, wonderful flavor. Potatoes under with the gravy, perfect fit. Scallop dish very rich. Cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sauce was stupid good. Probably was the highest A+. Onion soup was exactly what it should have been....Classic French Onion Soup. Salmon done very French style. Sauce was over the top good. Creme Brule was huge, biggest I have ever been served (over 100 times). More importantly, excellent flavor and texture (both custard and hard flamed top). Service was attentive, timely and not overbearing. Really awesome experience!!! Will be back very soon!!“
“We came here to eat but only stayed for a drink because the bartender was the most miserable human ever. Would give zero stars for my experience but its not the bars fault she was so rude or maybe it is not sure. She was tall brunette with curly hair. I usually get the names and make friends with my bartender and gave her plenty of chances to make her rudeness forgiven but she took none of them. So now I am going somewhere else for lunch.“
“Good food, fast & friendly service, plus excellent for the price! I usually don't find many places that are able to do all 3, but I only spent $53 for the bottlecap burger, fettuccine Alfredo, lemonade, a beer, and an appetizer of fried pickles. Really friendly staff, but we got the food fairly fast. As a bonus it's a nice relaxed atmosphere.“
“Great hike in the wall dive bar. Cheap drinks and friendly service from Pam. They also have a couple of decent pool tables in the back. The only issue is limited parking, however there is a big lot next door. Definitely a chill bar to hang out with friends.“
“Beer Baron Bar & Kitchen is a beer enthusiast's dream come true! Their extensive selection of craft brews is impressive, featuring both local favorites and unique finds. The ambiance is lively and inviting, perfect for gathering with friends or catching a game. Pair your beer with their delicious pub fare for a complete experience. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, making every visit enjoyable. Cheers to Beer Baron for offering a fantastic beer and dining experience!“
“We haven’t been in years and we almost didn’t go tonight after I started reading reviews. We walked in at prime busy time on a Friday night with two kids and got the second to last table. Our server greeted us and brought us all water. We ordered our drinks then ordered appetizers. The bacon wrapped dates and rosemary steak with fondue were to die for. Kids got pretzels and French fries which were also really good. Hubby got tacos and I got the truffle pizza. Kids shared a cheese pizza. We couldn’t eat it all but WOW. Food was phenomenal. Server was nice and attentive and the guy delivering our food did a great job, would clear plates and ask if we needed anything. We were impressed and would definitely be back. Even my 9 year old was eating up the steak appetizer! So glad we gave this place another chance years later, best food we’ve had in a long time. We will make sure to add this to our rotation of top local places to eat out moving forward! …ps never had a bad lunch/dinner here, regret waiting so long to come back!“
“Another 5 stars EVERY time I come here! Can't resist their cesar salad even though I order A Lil' Sumtin', make that 2 glasses. Met Michael and Dale (hopefully I spelt her name correctly) and they made the visit spectacular. If you like fresh, fresh, this is your spot!“
“I have driven past the 440 club for decades but never stopped by. I was out with my wife and friends and they had never been as well. We decided, why not? It was a dimly lit interior and fairly small space. There were just a few people in there and we sat at the Bar. The bartender was very nice and we chatted with him for a bit before we ordered. I ordered a Bourbon without ice and it was a good choice and not very expensive. Four other people showed up and it was a party. They were outgoing and we had a great time. Glad we stopped by. The bartender was attentive.“
“Great ambiance, kind (and usually FAST) service, very yummy food (try the molcajete mix..... sooooo flavorful and enough for 3 meals), and wonderful cocktails (the margarita flight is a favorite but the Paloma is a close second).Dietary restrictions: The molcajetes are great for a low carb option!Parking: Parking lot gets full during peak timesKid-friendliness: Several options for kids, some of which are smaller portions of the main menu (my oldest likes the kids enchilada) and others that are American (my youngest likes the chicken nuggets and fries)Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is wheelchair accessible and all of the tables (minus a few tall tables) would accommodate a wheelchair no problem“
“Shout out to Chris the manager who went out of his way to accommodate us. We are Hyatt members and thought we could use our club access awards. Unfortunately this particular restaurant is its own identity and therefore they don’t allow you to use the awards. Chris however made an exception and allowed us to use them. It was a very busy day with a bit of a wait but we were really taken care of in an amazing way. Thank you!“
“Our waiter, Ben, was delightful and very well informed about the menu. The fish tacos were made with cod, and very tasty. My friend enjoyed her sampler platter. The portions were huge, and we both took home enough leftovers for another meal! Thanks for a really enjoyable lunch. ?“
