This is a charming boutique hotel which was originally a bank and law offices. The E stands for Empire - the original name of the building. Our third floor room was small but well-appointed, with modern industrial styling. I'm not a fan of them, but they are functional; the bathroom had a barn door. Simple, if you want a worry free all inclusive stay, pick Hotel E and plan to be AMAZED. We visited Russian River Brewery & Restaurant, La Rosa Tequileria/Belly Left Coast Kitchen & Tap Room and the Mediterranean Kitchen.

This is an excellent hotel. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, good location, good WiFi, super nice staff, and the water filter system in the lobby is awesome. Valet parking is $18 per day which is very reasonable though do expect that picking up and dropping off takes a little bit of time. The only negative thing I can think of (and even then I can't be that negative, here) is that breakfast is fine.
