The food was amazing. The chopped salad was fresh and had a generous amount of creamy avocado. The foccacia was light and fluffy and the dipping sauce was an improvement over plain oil and vinegar. My meatball and spaghetti pizza was my favorite dish. All my favorite foods in one bite. The schnitzel was HUGE and perfectly cooked and the gravy and spatzel were out if this world! The only down side was very slow service and our waitress had NO personality. She should not be a server!

Just go. Pop it in the GPS and hit start. You won't be disappointed. It's a real one-of-a-kind restaurant that I can't recommend enough for Italian and German fare that's California fresh and thoroughly satisfying. Just writing this review and thinking about their food is making me crave another meal of *literally anything* on the menu.Just off the top of my head I'd recommend: Arancini for an appetizer, Schnitzel & Spätzle for a main course and Black Forest Cake for dessert!Servers...read full review

I always go at late lunchtime and can find a good table. The staff is great and very accommodating. There are a lot of vegetarian food choices and wonderful, interesting menu items. The food is super delicious. It's my favorite local restaurant. It's not a full service restaurant, but i don't mind that at all. It saves on tipping and is less disruptive of the dining experience! I didn't know how much of the food is organic or local, but it is very fresh.
