“The Pad Thai is so delicious! They serve in a large portion which is satisfying. The atmosphere is unlike most Asian restaurants and is quiet, soft and easy. I instantly fell into this Thai fusion restaurant. They also have various options for vegetarian dishes. The interior design is elegant and beautiful. The service is really nice as well. I can see why this place is popular in the town“

“Darla Cafe is one of the best Asian-Fusion brunch spots I’ve been to in the Bay Area. My favorite was Aina in SF if the OG foodies remember it. Darla may be my new favorite for Asian-fusion brunch.Their loco moco is a good find and one that I like outside of Hawaii. The matcha pancakes and French toast were made perfectly. Plating is impressive here. The drinks are solid— the yok lor coffee woke me up for the day. I can tell they took care and gave high attention to detail in crafting their menu and flavors here. The inside has a clean aesthetic look and there is outdoor patio seating perfect for the spring time. There is a family feel from the staff.Darla Cafe is near Hakone Gardens. Highly recommend a visit!Ordered:Loco Moco #1Darla’s French ToastRose berry lemonadeYok Lor coffeeMatcha pancakes“

“So flavorful and delicious! The French toast had the perfect amount of sweetness. The cheesesteak might be a bit cheesy for some, but I enjoyed it and the steak pieces were tender and juicy! The Dino rib pieces were so soft and tender and juicy as well and was happy with the choice of adding the bone marrow. Lastly, the takoyaki was one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back again to try more!“

“More like 3.5 for us but that bread alone is with .5 stars hahaHad the beef stew with bread so I could take home the stew.It was made with riblets that were slow cooked and very tender. The soup was good, can't say it was my favorite, but I would consider eating it again if I were there. The bread. Can we talk about this bread? My goodness the bread was fantastic. I bet someone here knows where they get it. Imo ALL Bahn Mi should be served with this bread. It had a super thin, but crisp crust all around, very crisp but thin. This is the kind of bread that delivers the crisp without slicing up your mouth like bait. The inside was fluffy and soft...superb.The Bun Cha Giao Thit Nuoung (noodles with BBQ pork and imperial rolls) came with a fair amount of meaty and tender pork, flash grilling it would really elevate the flavor because it has good flavor. The sauce could use a little more fish sauce. The purple drink is a taro drink made in house. It tastes ok but the taro which settles at the bottom is very gritty. I think they should make it into a paste before using it in a drink. Like the taro paste you get at Bambu or what is served in Vietnamese desserts.“

“Ordered 2 breakfast burritos through DoorDash. Best breakfast burritos I've had in the area and I've tried quite a few of them. Nice proportion of filling inside and a great size burrito-very filling. Salsa that came on the side had a nice and refreshing taste to it. Another great quality was that the burrito had no grease dripping from it. I called the restaurant later to compliment them and the owner Jenny answered-she seems like the sweetest lady and I'm definitely looking forward to trying the rest of their offerings.“

“Latin-Asian-Fusion is a great restaurant/catering business. We needed to figure out all the details for a baby shower with about 100 people. My daughter wanted it to be elegant and lovely for all. Roddy, the business owner answered a general search that I made on the internet. He suggested a great event space and every step of the way kept us informed of our plans and food selections for an absolutely fun and beautiful event. The food was spectacular, delicious and served in a first class, gorgeous display. All staff were very professional and kept the party well served.“

“Udon was delicious, beef was cooked well, sauces were yummyKid-friendliness: The setup is a little difficult for kids. It's kind of intended for one tray per person and fitting multiple bowls on a tray is a little hard, but they have plenty of high chairs and space to use them, so overall it's good.“

“YUM. Can I just say... YUM. Okay, here's the rest: I met a friend for dinner here on a weeknight around 5:30 or so & it was perfect. No people. Well, maybe one or two other tables of peoolebut in general, it was early enough to beat crowds (which there later came to be). We were seated right away & ordered using the digital ordering menu system. The place had plenty of seats with a variety of table sizes to accommodate parties of various sizes. Despite ordering digitally, their staff was still very attentive, stopping in to check on our needs often. It was very nice to have someone stay on top of my water needs. I ordered the curry beef udon sizzling plate & it was sizzelicious! Everything was nice & fresh & the meat cooked up quickly so I dove right in. The udon noodles were perfectly textured & I liked the corn which was a fun texture to add to the plate. For those who've never been, this is a place you want to visit in clothes that you don't care getting covered in the smell of oil all over. That sizzle gets all up in your clothes, your hair, your skin if you get your face in there, so don't dress to the nines if you're planning a visit (or do if you love the smell of oil, I guess. You do you.) This place is comparable to Pepper Lunch in Milpitas - love both places. Now I'm hungry.“

“I ordered takeout through Uber Eats from this place, so can't comment about the service and atmosphere of this place. I got the spicy dragon roll, gyoza and salmon teriyaki entree. The gyoza was standard and it was a slight let down because it wasn't warm, but that's completely on the Uber driver as he had to make a few deliveries on the way. The spicy dragon roll was disappointing, it wasn't spicy at all and the sushi roll's rice didn't appear spot on. The salmon teriyaki was standard and decent. However the miso soup was plain bad, too watery and lacking flavor.“

“Went on Monday evening, it was full packed. We had to wait for 15-20 mins. Worth of wait time. Food quality and taste is good. Even its Nepali restaurant I felt Indian taste. We ate kothey momos, veg chowmen and. Panner chilly. All were delicious, especially kothey momos. You must also try masala tea, it was fantastic. Service was okay as it was busy. They charge 3% for credit card payments.“

“If you're craving Cambodian cuisine, make sure to visit Angkor Chef, a fantastic Cambodian restaurant located in downtown San Jose. Owned by Channy Laux - Chef and her husband, they've been serving up delicious dishes for about 6 months now. Tina and I were thoroughly impressed by their excellent service and mouthwatering food. The restaurant boasts a sleek and modern design, and we particularly loved the beef skewers (សាច់គោចាកាក់). We definitely will come back for more. #supportlocalbusiness #khmerfood“

“Nice restaurant. The menu has all the typical dishes and more. We just tried a few things on their menu, and everything was good. The wontons in the wor wonton soup was really good. There are lots of veggies in it which I like. We also had the pan-fried pork buns. Crispy bottom. The filling was just ground pork, which was good. We just ordered a couple of vegetable items. Dry string beans and eggplant in garlic sauce. Both were great. The portion size was large, which I appreciate. Lots to take home. I will be going back.“

“The star dish: black bean noodles. If a dish has me hooked on every bite, I can literally make space even on a full stomach. This dish was 'it's: savory, 'al dente' noodles. Well made and a simple dish. The Sweet and Sour Pork (Beijing Style). Is what the restaurant is well known for. The big difference with this dish is that there's no red coloring in the sauce. I like how they served the sauce on top of the pork. This prevented the meat from becoming soggy from being drenched in sauce. I was not too impressed with the garlic beef. My guess is that they used some sort of tenderizer, which threw off the texture of the meat. It was okay, but not impressive. I went on a Saturday afternoon, when the restaurant was crowded. Wait time was around 30 minutes. The restaurant is nice and clean.“

“Parking here can be challenging since it's located in a plaza with City Sports. If you're looking for a quick meal, this place is like a Vietnamese version of Chipotle. You customize your bowl to your liking. You choose your base, protein, veggies and finish it off with sauce. The order was quick and easy. I went with the rice noodles, beef, all the vegetables and the VN sauce and lime soy vinaigrette. The ingredients were fresh and tasty.“

“Urban Momo is a Nepalese food counter within the larger San Pedro Market. This cuisine has Indian, Chinese, Burmese, and other influences (or Asian Fusion), of which Gayle and I love curry and spice. My choice was the Chicken Biryani (Indian rice dish including vegetables & rice) was well placed, while Gayle raved about her Paneer Tikka Masala (Grilled cheese cubes in red creamy sauce). Although beer would have been an excellent pairing with my dish, I chose lemonade to allow the sweetness to supplement the spice. Gayle stayed with her usual glass of Chardonnay. As the San Pedro Market is largely an ethnic food court model, we had the pleasure of sitting where we wanted to, this time outside. Service was efficient, including the use of the fob to tell us when our order was ready. It was a nice time out including Gayle's Son and his Wife.“

“I heard about this place by word of mouth and came across a discount code if I ordered though the app. One day I was in the mall feeling sick and with a sore throat, so thinking back on it, I used the promo code and ordered two cups of kake broth. That was the best broth I've ever had!I've come back many times since, trying various different things on the menu. Their noodle dishes are delicious and I love their tempura! I can't understate how good the food is!Sometimes, when I'm in the mall, I'll order a cup of broth just because.Parking: Mall parking costs $2/hr after the first two hours.Wheelchair accessibility: It's in the second floor of the mall, which is accessible by elevator or the second story of the adjacent parking structure.“

“Food is reliably very good. Used to come here all the time when we lived in Sunnyvale. Moved away and still come back every time we're in the area. Without fail we always order the eggplant tofu, and the vegetarian Kung Pao "chicken" and vegetable chow mein. All of these are exceptionally tasty. My only complaint is that the bathroom needs deep cleaning. Like seriously get some professional help cleaning the bathroom stall walls, tile floors and grout, and buy some new toilet paper holders in where broken ones are. Also update the sink faucet, clean the sink and get paper towels In addition to that "stupid' wall fan. Nobody wants to touch the door handle. Provide paper towels so we don't have to grab toilet seat covers to open the exit door. And while you're at it, put a waste basket by the door where we can throw whatever we used to open the door with. Thank you.I will still come back as the food is very good, but if the bathroom cleanliness still sucks the next time I go, that will be the last time I come back.“

“An absolute hidden gem! My husband and I weren't feeling the food court food and found this place on yelp. It took forever to find, but luckily, with some help from the yelp reviews, we were able to find it. There was only one other table inside and we were glad for it since we wanted to get away from the mall crowd. Our server was super friendly and attentive and predicted our needs before we even had to ask. The food was delicious. We got the tiger prawns with garlic noodles, mango salad, and the open faced banh mi with soft shell crab. Highly recommend checking out this place! It's a great place to bring some friends and have some drinks and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and good food :)“

“Expected dishes to be more expensive.Rice balls and fusion pizza were very crispy, rice balls had strong butter flavor, if you like that this is very good, 2 for $11.Cold udon was chewy, $20.Pizza was thin and crispy, strong ham taste with noticeable crab flavor. Not sure if that flavor combo works for me.Yellowtail carpaccio wasn't cold enough, fish was nice enough, but best part was the slightly sour sauce. Not worth its price imo.Daikin salad $11 refreshing, although a bit too salty.“
“We decided to try out this place on a whim and I'm so happy we did!We called in ahead of time and the entire order took less 15min. It was a Tuesday night, an hour before closing, and wasn't busy when we arrived. In fact, we were the only patrons. TAKE OUT ONLY - There are no tables inside the establishment, so don't expect a dine-in date night unless you intend to hang out in their back parking lot and eat in your car. One interesting benefit to this restaurant is that they offer you the choice to pick your vegetables! PORTIONS & PRICING - Portions are super generous! Pricing based on quality + quantity is very reasonable compared to other places across the Bay Area.SERVICE - Based on the interactions over the phone and upon pick-up, service was pretty standard. HOUSE PAD THAI ($14) - This was absolutely *chef's kiss* delicious! It was soooo flavorful, and the noodles were just perfect. Ingredients consisted of chicken (which were abundant in quantity and size), carrots, zucchini, bean sprouts, green onions, eggs, and tofu. For an additional fee you can choose other proteins. They even packed the chopped peanuts in a separate container which I really appreciated. TOM KHA SOUP ($16) - We ordered a large and the 32oz container was filled to the brim. This was also amazing! It was still piping hot when we got home and opened it. I almost burnt my lips because it was so hot. It came mushrooms, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and onions. The flavors were very well balanced. PAD SEE EW ($14) - He ordered it with chicken and shrimp (+$2). I tried a little bit of it and I thought it was just ok. Nothing to write home about. He felt the same. Their standard ingredients consisted of eggs, onions, and carrots. The menu says it comes with broccoli too, but I don't recall seeing any in there.THAI MILK TEA ($5) - It was pretty good. It was sweet though. Like REALLY sweet, if you like that. I'm not sure if the sweetness level can be customized or if boba is offered for an additional fee as I didn't ask. If you're looking for a nice little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, this might be your spot! I'll definitely be coming back to try their other dishes.Don't forget to check-in for 20% off your order! :)“

“I ate the pork set (jeongjeongsal + pork belly + seasoned pork neck)! It said it was for 2-3 people, but it was enough to feed 4 people. I was impressed because it felt like I ate it in Korea... and the price isn't that expensive.ㅡIt was so delicious that I went again the next day, and this time they also grilled kimchi next to the pork belly... “Went with my kiddos for lunch here. Ordered the Miso tofu Banh Mi as that was one of only two options available. Also got the vegetarian egg roll which was okay. Came out hot but wasn't that fresh as the sandwich. Our banh mi was really good, fresh ingredients, tofu was great and quite filling too. There is no outside seating and very limited inside seating. Service was good. I loved the plants they had inside specially the fiddle leaf fig tree that was teaming with so many leaves. I would love to know the secret from the owner for that, please!!!“

“The Golden Triangle was a yummy restaurant specializing in Thai and other Far Eastern cuisines and offers a vibrant dining experience. During our visit, we ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main dishes. of dishes. We savored the crisp papaya salad, succulent chicken skewers, creamy green avocado curry, and the fiery Tiwanese chicken, which featured their homemade hot sauce. While all the dishes were impressive, they were served simultaneously, making it slightly overwhelming to manage all at once.Although the service was somewhat slow, the staff were genuinely friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, The Golden Triangle provides a pleasant setting with excellent food, making it a commendable choice for those in search of authentic flavors from the Far East.Vegetarian options: A whole dedicated menu for vegetarians“

“Haven't had such fluffy buns filled with succulent and flavorful cuts of meat in a while. A friend and I tried their Braised Pork belly Buns, Shoyu Pork Buns, Shaking Beef Buns, crispy tofu buns, Angry bird bowl (off-menu), and mango lassi. Most everything was great, especially the braised pork belly and shoyu pork buns. The tender soy marinated cuts of pork really hit the spot, and I loved the ají verde sauce that came w the shoyu pork bun. The shaking beef reminded me of the sweet and savory korean bbq meats, and the crispy tofu bun had a hickory bbq flavor. I really enjoyed the angry bird bow! It's an off menu item with aromatic fried rice and spicy sautéed chicken. So good! Mango Lassi was a nice smoothie to wash it all downOur host was very kind and informative. The business is run by young chefs and they seem very honest and open to advice! Bun Me Up is located in the Tiki Pete Bar, good music and great place to chill at night.“

“The food was exceptional. It would be a go-to for something to ease your hunger as soon as possible, as most of the orders are efficiently delivered. No doubt, as foodies, me and my family enjoyed the food overall, but what was significant was the number of vegetarian options. In Korean cuisine, there aren’t so many of them… However, at BibimBowl, we found around as many no-meat options as meaty options in each category. For people who prefer to get something with no gluten, they provide a wide range of gluten-free dishes as well.Everything, from service to food to ambience, was great. It felt welcoming, like something that would stay with you forever. “This is one of my favorite ramen spots in the South Bay. It is inside a grocery store, so expect a food court style seating arrangement. The food comes out quickly, and on days they take longer there is a whole grocery store and book store to look through. They are friendly and always get the order correct. We usually get the 36 and the 63 when we go, and I personally love how the spicy char sui miso soup!“
“This was my second time having sushiritto! I'm not a big raw fish fan so I went for the sumo crunch. Last time I ordered it, I found the tempura flakes to be too oily and heavy so I skipped them this time around. I'm glad I did. What worked: --Lots of avocado and imitation crab -- big portion -- ready quickly -- the food court idea is cool! What didn't work: -- the seaweed wrap was on the oily side, the burrito overall felt heavy -- lacked fresh elements. Adding leafy greens or more veggies would've broken up the heaviness -- no vegan options on the sushiritto menu -- very expensive! $16 for one burrito! I think it's fun to try but I don't think I'd come again unless I was really craving it. A regular sushi roll may be a better and cheaper option“

“I absolutely love the Asian-inspired cocktails at this place, especially my favorite, the lychee martini. During Christmas, they introduced some festive variations on the drinks, and they were delicious! The music is always lively, mostly playing hip-hop. The venue tends to get quite crowded, probably because it's on the smaller side. The crowd mainly consists of young Asian Americans and ABGs (if you know what I mean).“

“It's a typical Bonchon experience, with friendly and attentive service. However, the ambiance fell short of expectations. The interior was quite dark, which may have contributed to the lack of cleanliness. Unfortunately, all the tables were sticky, which detracted from the overall dining experience. “Pretty solid takeout Chinese spot. I got the Lychee Shrimp Balls and Sesame Chicken with a side of White Rice. Very flavorful and cooked perfectly. The shrimp balls were tender inside and crispy outside. I like that they have water chestnuts for some extra texture. The sesame chicken was quite sweet! Tender meat. Tasted like an elevated orange chicken. I would order it again. My only complaint is the takeout packaging. It was very soggy and not sturdy. It doesn't seem to hold up with the food condensation. The boxes were falling apart at the edges from the heat.“

“The beef pot stickers were satisfactory, but I think pork would have been a better choice. The fried wontons with spicy garlic sauce exceeded my expectations; the sauce, reminiscent of Thai chili sweet sauce, was a delightful fusion of flavors. However, the pork and shrimp boiled dumplings fell short of expectations due to tiny shrimp and inconsistent texture among the dumplings. The pork wontons with chili sauce were flavorful, though not as spicy as expected, yet still worth the price. The wonton in chicken broth was decent but unremarkable. On the other hand, the noodle dish with onion soy sauce was disappointing – too bland despite the chewy noodles.“
“Located inside fugetsu, you can wander through the selection of food and anime figurines and novelties in the back. The food is arranged by hot foods, refrigerated foods, and room temperature foods. This is a takeout place, no tables. Located in the same plaza as Mitsuwa, so parking can be hit or miss. I opted for the okonomiyaki bento which came with a gyu-don, takoyaki, and okonomiyaki. Everything was quite good. I came around 5 and everything still looked and tasted fresh. Might try some of the chirashi offerings in the future. The staff is very nice and greet you as you come in and ring you up pretty quickly. I have never seen a long line. During lunch, it might be difficult to sit and eat instead of grabbing to go but i highly recommend getting the Hot Stone when dining in. It keeps my food hot and I love burnt/crispy rice!!
