“4.5 stars Came to lunch with daughter today, we thoroughly enjoyed the food, environment and service. It's been a while since I tried a new place and liked it so much. We sat by the window in the quiet dining room, took a little time to determine our orders from so many interesting options. We shared two appetizers and a couple of mains: A bowl of New England clam chowder (4/5) A large bowl of creamy and tasty chowder loaded with tender chunks of clams. It's not quite hot enough for me but certainly one of the best in terms of flavor. Crab and artichoke dip (5/5) , excellent tasting hot dip , plenty of crab meat served with toasted crispy bread. Fish and chips combo, (5/5) a HUGE piece of fish, 2 scallops and 3 prawns on a pile of fresh fries. As a person who normally stays away from deep fried stuff, this is done exceptionally well. We were most impressed with the scallops, juicy, plump and naturally sweet. Wonderful ! Combo Loui with half/half shrimp and crab (4/5) everything tasted so fresh, comes with a hard boiled egg, avocado, very fresh seafood and crunchy vegetables. The repeating theme here is fresh ingredients, generous portions and reasonably price. We are very pleased with our meal, would gladly recommend Anchors to our friends and family.“

“Edward is the GOAT! always amazing to see him and he provides the best service. He's very helpful and makes the experience here the best. Food is very good and it's a lot better than most places. They do great combo prices and its easy to order.“

“came here on a friday evening with my family. Parking was easy the city also gives you a free 90min if you park in the parking garage but we had no problem finding street parking. We were greeted right away and given menus. The selection is really big. They also have a happy hour from 3pm-6pm which was nice. We paid $60 for three meals and drinks (one of which was a beer) portions are really big and food comes out piping hot. The staff is super friendly. Overall my family will be coming back again we enjoyed ourselves so much.“

“Had clam chowder and fish combo plate. Chowder was great as usual and server accommodated our request to add bacon bits to the soup. Fish (pollack) was flaky and tasty; big slice too.Parking: Street parking in front, lot in back. We were there at 4pm on Monday so plenty of spaces in front.“

“I don't like to give 5 stars but honestly this was worthy of it. Excellent food and service. Loved the freshness of the fish and the service was exceptional. First time I try this type of fish but I love it (not cod). It was so good I ordered another plate to go.“

“We had a very pleasant evening there playing darts and trivia, drinking and eating the shepherds pie, which was very good. It's a cozy place so don't go when it's crowded. It was a Thursday night so I recommend trying it on Thursdays. The bartender was very friendly.“

“I was so surprised by this unassuming place in a strip mall off Meridian and Willow. Food was very good and the service was too. It’s not fancy but it’s comfortable and has decent parking.The salads are huge so plan to split them unless it’s your main entree. The lime shrimp tacos were tasty and my parents loved their salmon and petrale sole dishes. The grilled veggies were very good with the salmon.I look forward to going back to try many other things on the menu .“
