“Enjoyed a delicious and delightful meal at Maligne! We ordered the whole turbot, the little gems salad, and the milk bread. The salad was simple but perfectly dressed. The milk bread had a super light and airy texture and we enjoyed the smokiness from the grill. The turbot was the star of the show - really tender and buttery with crispy. We could tell that the kitchen paid fine attention to detail to every dish that got sent out!

The service was also excellent and contributed to the atmosphere. Waitstaff was super attentive and friendly and answered all of our questions. Loved Maligne and hope to be back!”

“I had a Lamb & Beef Gyro. It made 👏 my 👏 day. It was scrumptious. The veggies were fresh, the sauces blended really well with everything, and the atmosphere was very friendly. They also have the best pitas you can find on the entire peninsula!!

“This place has been here for decades and is now under new management I think. Much improved decor, food quality, brighter and cleaner, but prices are still worth it. Definitely give it another try if you haven't been here in awhile. I only wish they did delivery!”

She was incredibly easy to collaborate with, offering a variety of thoughtful menu options and helpful suggestions. The quantity of food was spot on, and every pizza was a hit with the crowd. Mary’s responsiveness and attention to detail made the entire process seamless. The pickup process was easy and the team even provided pizza sleeves to keep everything hot. “My husband got the Vietnamese coffee and I got the Lavender Yuzu with tapioca (WHICH IS MADE FROM SCRATCH!). Also picked up a matcha mochi donut! Drink flavors were robust but not overwhelming. Love the fact that we have mochi donuts in the Monterey Penninsula now! The matcha flavor was very concentrated, which I love! It's hard to find matcha that doesn't taste diluted. What I really heartened me was that the co-owners Vi and Tia are really down-to-earth and got to know us as humans. Loved hearing their story about working from the bottom up within the hospitality industry to owning their own small business! We'll be back for dinner and a crowd of friends to continue to support your efforts! Genuine flavors, ingredients, and lots of love at this shop :)”

“The best kept secret in Monterey! First of all the FRESH hand-made corn tortillas! OMG! Best in town without question. Huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles were amazing! Authentic. You want spicy? We’ve been here tons of times, but today when we went in, the service wasn’t the same, waitress seemed upset for some reason because I asked for extra avocado & I had to ask another waitress for some chips 20 minutes later because the original waitress never asked us if we needed anything else after they brought us our food. Besides that, food was delicious 👍🏿”

“A great place to enjoy authentic German food. The broccoli cream soup for starter was very nice, and the Gulasch with homemade Spätzle was great. The portions are quite big. The atmosphere is nice, the owners are very welcoming and he had a great humor :-).”

“Lupita's strikes again! Once again, completely delicious food! The quality of their food is so good that you won't feel that yucky takeout feeling after eating there! You will feel like your Mexican mom made you a batch of rice and beans! The key is their oaxacan roots! I love how they make their quesadillas with like a thick masa. The tamales are bomb, masa is seasoned correctly and then the fillings are so good. we love the chicken mole ones but also like the rajas and the salsa verde. Today we branched out to try their tortas and new burrito bowls. outstanding! Ask for some Oaxacan cheese on your burrito bowl! Okay, now the bakery... There is always a debate on who has the best donuts on the Monterey Peninsula, I always hear about the donut places, but for me Lupita's is the best. their donut is substantial and then the chocolate on top is decadent! I really keep saying, who would go to any sole donut shop when you can get so much variety here? Donuts, donut holes, cakes, cookies, pan dulce! and my ultimate favorite... a loaf of morning glory bread!!! Like a carrot cake bread with oats! trust me! super delicious! Lastly, they are super friendly! I love their staff! I am currently working with them to do custom donuts for my son's upcoming birthday! They are always willing to work with their customers to make them happy!”

Really nice ambiance- we ended up here as it was the only place open past nine and we had just gotten into town and needed dinner and drinks and got both here with very friendly service. You can sit away from the bar area if the hotel bar is hoppin’.Limited menu- but totally sufficient and nice representation of local produce.

Parking: Says paid parking only- we are t hotel guests so hoping for the best ?”

“Stopped in while my car was being serviced down the street. Have been there a couple times before and really enjoyed it but really just chilled today. Had a mocha and a Fessell (sp?) and decided to stay for some tea (Scarlett) after. Emma and I chatted about many things and I even got to pick out some vinyl to play while I hung out. “My family and I have been coming to The Orient for over 10 years. This place is the best. It's run by the same family and the deliciousness of their food hasn't changed either. The beef Pho is great, best around I think. I really like their fried rice, salt pepper squid and egg foo young. Pretty much everything here is good. Their lunch specials are deal too.”

“When I crave fast food I like this particular Carl's Jr. location in Seaside. The restaurant is kept impeccably clean and the customer service is very friendly. Everytime I have visited I have had a good experience. The burgers and fries, etc have been good. Delivery however is something I cannot recommend . The burgers were horrible and my order was wrong. Fries were old and stale. Overall this restaurant is alright for dining in delivery is a hell no.”

“Went here for lunch during EOB and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had. The pupusas with cheese and loroca were absolutely delicious and some of the best i’ve had, also they were only $3 each which was insane to me I would have happily paid twice for the same meal. Our waitress was super sweet and my friend who got the chicken quesadilla said it was great as well. I will definitely be back soon and I’m happy I’ve found such an amazing restaurant!!”
