Cozy little seafood restaurant in The Barlow. Comfortable space. Casual, friendly service. Only two types of oysters available when we visited but they were both delicious. Oddly, the spoon provided for the mignonette sauce was extremely large, like a large serving spoon, which was cute (?) but not helpful when trying to ladle the sauce out of its small shallow dish. As a local, I would say the Barlow is 50% tourist traps; 50% positive additions to our dining scene. Oyster, is one of our go to, date night places. What's good here? Carefully curated delicious bottles of Champagne (you probably never heard of) for less than $100. This is a true gem in the Barlow. Oyster has a wonderful atmosphere - great for a family dinner or a get together with friends. The food is fantastic - strongly recommend the duck fat fries, the burger, the wedge salad, the calamari and the octopus. Raw oysters did not disappoint either. We will definitely be back!
