“Indeed there is no restroom here so prepare before arriving.
Caveat, growing up eating homemade Lao food, am a bit selective.
Kao poon. Broth is how I remember with chicken, semi sweet (coconut), salty, and a bit spicy. Additional dry chili topping but would have preferred fresh chilies.
Mok pla. Could use more spice, otherwise other than the salmon, similar flavor especially with the herbs, the dill is what gives it a nice herby fragrance.
Pad woon sen. With chicken. Good but not quite enough. Missing the soy/oil aroma, a hint of it is there but not strong enough for me and the noodle a bit overcooked and prefer with tomatoes for acidity.”
“We got a flight of various IPAs and the bacon pesto pizza. Holy smokes their pizza is amazing! Typically at breweries the food offering is not as good as the beer offering, but this place is on point with both! We will definitely come back and try the other pizzas on the menu and also enjoy the local beer. The service was great, can't say enough about this place.”

“The best bang for your buck for sure! I just got a three item plate (plus 50/50 rice/chow mein), an order of cream cheese wontons (cooked fresh!) And a huge soda for $18. On to the food: every single dish I've had here has been fresh, delicious and top notch. Excellent food. I really want to try the bbq pork, it looks incredible! They home make their own hotsauce. The hotter version is legit hott, and the standard version adds a unique spiciness to the already flavorful and delicious food. Every time I go here, the people are so nice and actually care about you. Do not hesitate, and check this place out. The atmosphere is quiet and it's pretty plain-jane as far as cosmetics, but they more than make up for it in the kitchen and at the counter. One of my top 5 favorite spots in the area. More reviews coming soon”

“I've only been for breakfast and have enjoyed each time so I would like to try lunch. Good breakfast at a good price and much better than chain fast food places.”

“Fantastic traditional Japanese (as in not Korean, not American style).
Omakase was perfect & very fairly priced. Fish quality was over the top orgasmic good.
We also had the baby octopus salad photo attached that was absolutely fantastic tender and extremely tasty.
In short extremely glad we finally tried this place. Won’t be the last time for sure.”

“Small sub shop with a solid menu.
Got 2 subs:
Super Grinder (Cold)
Philly Cheesesteak (Hot)
Both were great! Grinder was an absolute unit. Could have fed 2 people.
Only about $20 for both subs. Surprised this place wasn't busier when I got there. Any time I'm in Long Beach, I'll be back!”

“Good food, friendly staff, good menu with variety. Band was good but way too loud, couldn't talk across the table at all. We'll be back- maybe on a quieter night.”

“We chose to have Rossmoor Pastries make our wedding cake and it was the perfect choice! At the cake tasting, the staff were so kind, helpful, and easy to work with and the cake was just so delicious that it was an easy choice to pick them. Communicating our vision through email was easy and they were so accommodating after we changed our design a few times. The day of, when the cake was delivered, I was immediately impressed with how they brought our vision to life! Our guests complimented on how the blueberry filling was a yummy, unique choice. I would definitely recommend working with them!”

“I came here to eat Khmer
Beef Skewer Rice Plate-
Dee-licious! Tender chunks of beef on a stick. Not too sweet, w/ the right amount of fat content. The brightness of the pickled daikon & carrot paired well with the fatty beef, and the rice was fluffy & cooked just right. A sumptuous and filling meal, of which I was delighted to consume.
Da was diligently working the register and the grill. His countenance was warm & friendly. He asked if I was Cambodian. I told him I'm Filipino. Hey, I get it. We share the same noses ;p The skewers are grilled to order, so the wait was about 10 minutes, one party ahead of me.
Gratitude to Evan, Da and the crew at Naga Cafe Khmer Street Food. Hole in the hole is an apt description for the place. I ended up turning right on Obispo, having to make a U-turn to finally arrive at this diamond in the rough. Easy to miss, I sincerely hope Naga Cafe attains increased awareness and future business. I wish them good luck & fortune, going forward.”
