My father-in-law invited my husband and me to lunch today, March 14, 2024, at IHOP--a place that hasn't typically been my go-to for dining out. However, given it was a newly opened location, I was open to giving it another chance. Regrettably, my experience compels me to share feedback, not out of preference but out of a sense of duty. Well, shut my mouth. A second visit to the new IHOP and the universe is happy again. Ordered breakfast this visit and was just slightly more than impressed. Everything was hot, fresh and quite tasty. Their buttermilk biscuits and gravy combo is quite good. The price is very fair as well. Sometimes all it takes is a second visit and a second chance to find a better experience. Since I can enjoy breakfast anytime of the day or night, I know what to order at IHOP.
