“My boyfriend and I went here on a weekday to try the Green Matcha Danish, Strawberry Croissant, and Popeye Egg-Bacon Spinach. Everything tastes amazing! Our favorites are the Popeye and Strawberry Croissant. The ambiance inside the bakery was really nice and everything is so clean. Also, the staffs were really nice! Would recommend!”

“We checked out Mariachi Loco for the first time yesterday and definitely will be back! Everything was amazing. The bar is officially open too! The staff was friendly and attentive. We got the fried fish tacos and the churros. I asked for green salsa with our chips as well and both salsas were fantastic! I was a little worried to check them out so soon (as new restaurants have a lot of kinks to work out) but it was really fantastic!”

“On Easter Sunday after church my sister and another good friend were in the mood for Mediterranean food. We looked on Yelp and were happy to see beautiful reviews for Ali Baba Cafe. Let me tell you this restaurant did not disappoint on any level! A family atmosphere, with yummy aromas throughout we sat, were greeted my a joyful young man who was stellar in his service, getting us seated and started with water and tea. Then the waiter came and shared more about the menu favorites and the differences between certain dishes which was very helpful. The Hummus was amazing! Then each of the dishes we ordered two of ordered lamb dishes and one a beef dish, all were very delicious. The portions were plentiful! Then I ordered the most delectable baklava flaky and soaked in (honey I believe) but the most perfect balance. We will surely be back to this blessed restaurant. What a great first experience. Thank you to all those who served us with excellence from the seating to, taking our order to when we checked out and paid leaving out. Each person greeted us with joy. When its slow service is good. When its busier service is very slow and hard to get the servers attention because they do not have enough servers on. We got seated right away in the bar area. It was our first time here so didn't know what to expect. Once seated, we did noticed the restaurant part. It was that busy and only another couple was utilizing it. But the whole bar counter was full as well as some of the booth where we were seated. Staff were amazing, very friendly and attentive. The lady that took care of us was awesome, didn't remember her name but she was great. Checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed and if anything else was needed. Also, it happened to be a day where one of the alcohol founder was there. He walked around giving samples which was great. We even had a cocktail made from his liquor. Food wise, we had the calamari which was quite good. Portion wise was pretty plentiful. The fish and chips were great. Instead of the chips, we opted for the tater tots. And the chicken Parmesan, very filling. A good portion on both the pasta and chicken. Service was great, food was good and the whole vibe was amazing. It's a cool spot that we happened to find on Yelp and glad we stopped in. Also, had to send the place out to a couple of friends who would definitely love it here. “I have been to El Pollo Corona Grill, a few times both in their MoorPark and their Simi Valley locations. The food is excellent! Compliments to their chefs! I have had their chicken, tri-tip and pork chop plates. Service is very fast and very friendly. The place is clean and orderly. Service with Andrew was great. He was attos d informative since this was our first time here. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Ambiance is nothing to write home about. Mostly booths with a few tables and chairs located towards the bar area. There is a bar with sitting. I recommend trying MB Grill and as far as I am concerned reasonable in cost for the delicious meal.”

“This was an awesome experience for our boys, ages 11, 9 and 6. My oldest boys had brought their own R/C trucks to try on the track, but they quickly realized that the trucks available to rent there were far superior, and the track was designed with that size in mind. It was well worth paying more to rent their trucks, but also fun to put our on trucks to the test. The staff was friendly and very helpful, giving the kids plenty of guidance, and staying out on the track to rescue trucks that flipped over. The bathroom was clean, water cooler available, and there were plenty of tables with umbrellas to provide shade. The onsite food truck provided yummy, family friendly food. The word needs to get out about this place—it’s great!”

Amazing taste and intriguing flavor. Next we ordered the 703 shredded pork with Beijing sauce and the Szechuan shredded pork. Both had a great taste and flavor. It seems that almost everything on the menu is very good to excellent. Service and staff are always very pleasant except when very busy. My other regular soul is seafood hot and sour which is great on a cold night. Please give them a chance. You will enjoy there offering s.”

We paid $45 for the family meal which came with 3 entrees, 2 cartons of noodles, 2 of fried rice, 6 egg rolls, a pack of almond cookies and fortune cookies of course. The chow mein and orange chicken was my favorite. I wasn't too impressed with the entree selections but we opted to try the mushroom chicken. **Heads up be careful it has bones in some of the pieces..not sure if it's supposed to or not. Overall, we enjoyed it definitely more than Panda Express and will be back.”

Sunday, my family tried giving Mariachi Loco Grill and Cantina a try for a different type of menu to fall short, cancel our order, pay for our drinks and drive to Maria's where it is tried and true. What an extreme difference in experience between the two restaurants but nothing less than what it is every time we visit Maria's which is at least three times a month. How refreshing to have great service, great food (Mole, guac and Agua Fresca my fav) all effortlessly. Thank you Maria's for being authentic and never disappointing. Keep shining!”

When I pulled into the plaza this place is in, it was basically quiet. There are pot holes in Wendy lot so be aware. I pulled up to the drive thru and told the worker I was picking up my mobile order. I was told to pull up to the first window and then a little forward since my food wasn't ready. It took like 5ish minute for my food to come out when they had no other customers. I thought the double cheeseburger was okay, it reminded me of my high school food but the fries were delicious. “Best Mexican food in Simi Valley. Great little family operation. Their breakfast is probably the best thing they do. Best breakfast burrito, and huevos rancheros I’ve ever had. Their rice and beans are excellent. Love their burritos, shrimp tostadas, shrimp tacos, and tacos durados with el pastor. Hector and his wife always make you feel so welcome. Highly recommend and I’m a very tough critic. Have worked in restaurants for 16 years.”

“Love love love Ferretiz Grill! They have the best California Benedict! The staff are really personable, and they tend to recognize you only after a few times of going. I've noticed they remember most of their costumers, which I find really sweet. The waiters are also so kind, great service. Really homey feeling place, and the prices are good for what you get! “Came in Saturday night of Thanksgiving weekend and the place was dead. Me & my wife had Asada Burritos that were excellent. The owner was super nice & gave us the remote for the TV without us asking. Let us pick something to watch on Netflix. Restaurant is clean and the drinks are cold. Go pay them a visit and give a local spot some business. They've been here for 19 years and it would be great if they can stay open for another 19 years. Say hi to Lupe. She rocks!”

The chili fries were just okay, and I felt for the price the portion was on the small side compared to others in Simi. Will eat here again, but will not order Chili Fries. Staff was friendly and professional, store was clean and would be a great place to watch sports with so many TVs.”

My mashed potatoes were well seasoned and HOT and with lots of flavor. The asparagus was ok, but still yummy. I also had a small cup of clam chowder that was well great tasting. Service with Andrew was great. He was attos d informative since this was our first time here. Food was hot and came out in a timely manner. Ambiance is nothing to write home about. Mostly booths with a few tables and chairs located towards the bar area. There is a bar with sitting. I recommend trying MB Grill and as far as I am concerned reasonable in cost for the delicious meal.”

Our favorites are the Popeye and Strawberry Croissant. The ambiance inside the bakery was really nice and everything is so clean. Also, the staffs were really nice! Would recommend!”

“Me and wife were here in Simi Valley and came across the restaurant on 4/17/2024 .We decided to go in for lunch and give it a try and I'm glad we did .We got seated right away and had the best waitress by the name of Chelsea who gave me options on what to order great personality. I ordered Ceviche which was delicious and also a Carnitasada Mojado style burrito with a Modelo Michealda delicious. The food looked and tasted equally amazing, and my only regret was not taking a picture before I had already polished off the eggs, fruit, and half of my french toast. It tends to have a crowd most times, and fortunately I've not had that long of a wait to get a table.Their ice tea in jars is cold and delicious, with the warm plate of soft rolls a great compliment. I ordered the Tri Tip, which came well-done abd the beans and Mac n cheese. Good choices. She had the Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken ... which seems to be awesome whenever she orders it.Going back again this week ... can't wait!”

“Well, shut my mouth. A second visit to the new IHOP and the universe is happy again. Ordered breakfast this visit and was just slightly more than impressed. Everything was hot, fresh and quite tasty. Their buttermilk biscuits and gravy combo is quite good. The price is very fair as well. Sometimes all it takes is a second visit and a second chance to find a better experience. Since I can enjoy breakfast anytime of the day or night, I know what to order at IHOP.”
