“Wow! What an incredible gem we found. We read the reviews and decided to try it out. It exceeded expectations. The drinks we had were delicious from organic wine and tropical IPA. Then came our meal. We’ve lived in London and Minneapolis and we know fish and chips as a staple meal but the batter and airiness of this dish was the best we have ever had. The muscles appetizer (our fighter eats as a meal) was one of the best she ever had. Their take on clam chowder was delightful and delicious. Followed by a great dessert for a cherry on top of a great experience. We will be back when we are in the area.Parking: Lots of spots available. No pid parking required.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu had five different options. Lots of options to make your child’s heart sing.“

“Second floor is accessible through staircase and escalator only going upwards though. I did not see an elevator however there could be one.Food was reaaaaallly good. A bit pricey however really good seasoned food and decent portions tbh.Service was great all around!! Our server Tyler was really good and attentive. Bar back/ host was on it!!! Kept pre bussing and running our food and sides.Overall super cute!! We sat outdoors and enjoyed our lovely view in the corner looking at the ocean.“

“It is order at the counter. Very helpful and friendly service. We got the ahi coastal wrap, ahi taco, and the shrimp taco which was my favorite. Very large tacos. We highly recommend this place. Tacos were about $6-$7 each.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with kid’s menu“

“Whenever we are in Carlsbad, we take a short drive here. My husband and boys love fish, so this is a must when we are near. Tonight, we had the chowder, fish platter (comes with two sides), fish sandwiches (keep the lemon aioli), and the fish & chip. Oh, make sure you try their cole slaw, best I've ever had. All very fresh and full of flavor. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the employees are friendly.“

“Casual, family style restaurant with a slight emphasis on Mexican style dishes, and of course seafood. Food is very fresh, we had excellent grilled shrimp tonight. Grab a menu and order at the counter, food is brought to your table. Large windows with a nice view West and North towards the ocean, in downtown Cardiff. Not fancy, but have always had great food here. They also have an excellent selection of their own local t-shirts Etc“

“I've had English food a few times in Boston, which included the the traditional Fish-N-Chips, so I was curious how good California English would be. My friend and I were impressed with the outdoor and indoor atmosphere and the service was great. We had three-courses and dessert which were: 1st Course: "Hot" Scotch Egg which we were very happy with, the Chorizo was spicy and the Whipped Honey tuned that down. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts with Thai Chili was perfect to look at and taste...I wish I could recreate this dish. Both dishes were light so we were ready for the next course. 2nd Course: Beets, Citrus, Goats Cheese, the use of Pomegranate elevated this dish and it tasted good, but not outstanding like other Beet salads I've had. The Butternut Squash Soup was perfection, and the Spiced Pumpkin Seeds added a nice touch. Again these dishes were light so onto the next course. 3rd Course: I had there Beef Pie with bone marrow. Now presentation was great and the amount of beef/pie was good, the flavor was nice. My friend had the Butter Chicken which was cooked perfectly. Both dishes, especially mine, was very heavy....not a bad thing. Dessert was the Sticky Toffee & Date Cake w/Salted Caramel Ice Cream...YUM.“
