“The food was tasty! Came out not even 10 Min after we ordered.( There were 3 orders before us)Fair priced for the food but drinks do seem overpriced. You can eat at the tables outside and listen to LA trafficParking: The paid parking behind the building is 3$ every 15min (limit 18$ in price) egg tuck doesn't validate but Starbucks does when you purchase (for only 30min)“
“I think about this egg sandwich every time I eat an inferior egg sandwich from another egg sandwich shop. No matter which sandwich you get, eggs are buttery and rich with a flavourful sauce, and the brioche buns are soft and warm. What an absolutely delightful sandwich. The sides are also tasty. The staff is very hardworking and ridiculously efficient; I joined the line when it was already wrapped around the corner, but I got my order in under 20 min. Highly recommend!“
“*A Hidden Gem in Long Beach: Tony's Kitchen* Great Food & Good prices! During a recent visit to Long Beach, I had the pleasure of dining at Tony's Kitchen, a delightful find that left a lasting impression. Nestled in a quaint and cozy setting, this laid-back eatery offers a fantastic dining experience that combines attentive service, affordable prices, and, most importantly, scrumptious food. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including the breakfast burrito, steak & eggs, a chocolate chip pancake, and the standout dish—the blackened mahi mahi wrap accompanied by fresh, not frozen, fried zucchini. Each dish was a WINNER! The blackened mahi mahi wrap, in particular, was amazingly flavorful and easily the star of our meal. I almost forgot to mention their salsas (red & green) which were both fantastic. In fact, I brought some home with me with our leftovers & used them on several dishes I made. What surprised me most was the tranquility of the restaurant, a stark contrast to the bustling, often overcrowded/overpriced breakfast and lunch spots we're accustomed to in the Valley. Not only does Tony's Kitchen offer food that rivals or surpasses these places, but it does so in a setting that allows you to truly savor your meal without the rush, noise, and stress plus it's affordable!Whether you're a local or just passing through Long Beach, this gem deserves a visit. I'm already craving another taste of their mahi mahi wrap and zucchini fries and look forward to my next meal here. Tony's Kitchen is a testament to the joy of discovering an underrated restaurant that serves food deserving of a packed house every day.“
“Don't live close any more, but I drove 140 miles to see if they are still great. Answer: yes! The way they treat you, it feels like "welcome home". Had an omelet full of New Orleans flavors. Left full and happy. 5 stars all the way!“
“I loved the conchas in the basket at the beginning of the meal and the lattes were delicious. Kitchen could be a little faster but it was a full house but some people who sat after us were being served first but it’s all good this was a great first time experience for my wife and I. Definitely would “
“I saw a picture on yelp and wanted the same thing. How often does the real life order look just as good as the yelp picture? Well, today it did, and it was delicious!! The name is definitely deceiving, it's more of a breakfast/Mexican food truck, dont come for bagels, lol.Mine on the left and the yelp pic on the right.“
“Stopped in here to get a smoothie but ended up getting the BLT too! Smoothie, merman is delish and the BLT was pretty good too. It is on the pricier end but for people who have particular diet, this place is unpretentious and sincerely chill. The staff team is lovely. Would come here any day than over most establishments :).“
“First time here. Came for Sunday brunch with a group of 6. Waited a bit for a table but well worth it. Delicious options. Friendly service. Will be back!Dietary restrictions: The create your own omelette was perfect for my keto lifestyle! I chose sausage, bacon, mushrooms and two types of cheese. Ask for butter to add on top. Particularly good!!“
“It was my first time the guy whom took my order was very nice and patient he allowed me to sample a few meats almost got full lol. I tried the food that’s already ready not bad. Mac and cheese isn’t write home-able lacking flavor but cheesy brisket was okay grilled veggies were good. The fruit parfait ? bomb. I can see myself returning because they have breakfast lunch etc it’s great to have a place in such an area with healthy choices. So I gotta return for more I see the great potential in this eaterythank you Served 2 Enjoy“
“The burrito is not small it’s enough for the average person. I tried all the sauces and they were all 10/10. The bacon they use in the burrito is delicious it has a smokey bbq taste to it. This is definitely the best breakfast burrito I’ve tried so far. If you’re a foodie you’ll love it!“
“A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It’s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty.I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good.I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.“
“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“
“Had a chance to speak with the owner. He's been making high quality, traditional Mexican food at this venue for almost three decades. Mark my words when I say that if there's an option that you've been looking for but can't find elsewhere, they will have it here. I'm talking seriously authentic Mexican food.“
“Was looking for a simple diner is DTLA that didn't upcharge for being trendy and I found the place. The food and service were so fantastic that I visited 2 days in a row during a recent trip. I will definitely be recommending to people I know that travel to the area.“
“My son found this place on Instagram and we went based on the pictures. First off there was quite a wait but at least they had a texting system in place. We sat down about 40 minutes later. It was very crowded and we were seated really close to another party so that was uncomfortable. Their AC was not on so it was super hot. Overall it was worth it. I got the Carmel stuffed French Toast combo and it was amazing but the combo part i.e. eggs, hash browns, and sausage were on the skimpy side. Then it was time to pay and they charged me $2.67 if we did not pay in cash ? . Luckily I had some cash or else I would have paid a surcharge. I thought that was weird. So I recommend this place just come early, bring cash, and ask to be seated in a table in the middle of the restaurant so you don't sit close to anyone else. ?“
“First time here and it was great. The service was good and the food and drinks were delicious. I wasn't looking to drink but my sisters were looking forward to mimosas, however they weren't currently serving anything with liquor as they are in the process of renewing their liquor license. Besides that, I had the Chilaquiles Verde and a hot Dulce de Leche Latte and ate and drank every bit. I definitely want to return and try some of their other menu items. And the staff was pleasant, courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend.“
“I went with my friends to get breakfast. We had a good time and enjoyed the food. I love waffles and the one I had here was really good. I also loved the orange juice. It tasted freshly squished. My friend accidentally ordered something thinking it was one way but it turned out to be a different thing and they nicely replaced it. I will come back here. Also very nice customer service and everyone is so nice and attentive.“
“We had our first Korea town neighbourhood breakfast at this place. We have a dog family so we called in for checking. They were super nice and friendly. So we decided to go in. The menu was quite good. Mexican and Asian mixed menu. The staff was super friendly and sweet. They played 80s music. Quite cool. The coffee was very good. Much better than diner coffee (if you care about your morning joe). The food had a good portion and was very delicious. If you are on a diet, I don't recommend it otherwise you should try!Parking: Around 6-7 spots in this plazaKid-friendliness: It's kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: You can have the wheelchair path to get in.“
“MUST TRY THEIR GYRO! I love gyro's & their gyro was so yummy & really hit the spot. Their tzatziki sauce is none like any other I've tried & it was amazing! It was creamy, tangy, & tastes so fresh with high quality ingredients. Trust me, you can tell the difference compared to other places I've tried. My mouth is watering just thinking about it now. This place is a hidden gem. The ambiance was very relaxing & I cannot explain it, but any stress I had just melted away when I was there. The service was fast & everyone there was super friendly.“
“So we started shopping at Ralph's Fresh Fare on Seal Beach Blvd. Making a drive from DTLB because our local grocery store Vons was giving in to homelessness and crime. Very unsafe for us. Wanted to grab some breakfast early before shopping. This Cafe had awesome corned beef hash and breakfast quesadillas! Huge servings at low prices! Couldn't be better! Did I mention how nice the service is?!“
“Came here for a family lunch and we will definitely be back! Hearty portions. The chapo specials have a few type of meats they kind of compete with each-other and I would skip the chicken in that specific combination. The breakfast burrito was a HIT. Next time I want to try it with hash brown/refried beans. Everything else was good , will be back for sure . Service was good, not a Michelin starJoint but the price is right and it's definitely a neighborhood joint. Worker was like " you've never been here before so they definitely have their clientele" murals on the walls average Mexican spot vibes.“
“I miss the old atmosphere. I guess I need to use to this one. However, the potatoes don't come close to the potatoes they use to serve at the old location. We didn't go for a few weeks after we tried the new home potatoes at the new location. My kids love the old potatoes. So, effectively, we are going less often because they don't serve the old type of potatoes. I wish they would allow us to choose the type of potatoes we want them to serve. Just a thought.I just remembered. The restaurant is using pretty cold. We have to take sweaters just in case it is very cold.“
“Had a tasty experience at No Toro Cafe this morning! Brought my family to enjoy some great food! We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! We were seated quickly, and the service was top tier! Very welcoming and gave us a family feel! I definitely recommend this place!Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly!“
“Had a wonderful breakfast at Pancake with family. We ordered avocado toast, blintzes, chocolate chip pancakes, hash browns, and crispy chicken with waffles, along with their freshly squeezed juice. Every single dish was delicious and so beautifully plated. We had a great time! Totally recommend this breakfast spot!!“
“Been here quite a few times, nothing special. I don't really like their pancakes, they seem very dry and fall apart easily so I always substitute for crepes or strawberry blintz. Ordered Sirloin Tips and a side of smoked sausage, it was pretty good, the meat was nice and tender and flavorful. My husband ordered the steak omelette that was also pretty good and big enough to share. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Overall our experience was great.“
