“This place is the real deal. Four of us had a couple of ribeye steaks (super flavorful and tender with real mashed potatoes and a gigantic salad), and a couple of burgers (just superb). The service was very friendly and professional. Locally owned. We went for lunch. It might get rowdy at night, but at lunch, it's all about the food and drinks. Very reasonable prices. “We hadca ball! We were going somewhere else but that place was closed so someone recommended the Coach's lounge. When we first got there, they were setting up but the owner begged us to stay. We are so glad we did! I met a new friend who bought me drinks all night abd was a regular. They all new we were new to the place when we walked in but they made us feel welcome and we definitely had a good time!“
“The first visit was during a late lunch hour, which was not busy at all. The vibe was lovely. Lovely decor with basic table setup. Bar area is lovely. Service was friendly and welcoming but slow even though business was slow. Timing with sitting, ordering, and receiving food was about 1 hour and change for 2 people. Nearby parking garage available if you can't find street parking. Area is shaky, so do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Not even drinks in your cup holders. Indoor and outdoor seating. “The AVE owner was so kind. My partner had a family member taken to the local hospital, and I was left with our dog, and two friends because of hospital policy. So I took the dog and friends downtown. We were looking for a place to sit down, snack, and wait till my partner was ready to leave the hospital.The owner let us bring our dog inside, and gave us a nice table and couch to sit on. We let our German Shorthair Pointer sleep on the couch, and the owner was so kind.We are so thankful for the hospitality and kindness that were shown. We were dressed for a hike, not a club, and the owner made us feel welcome.Thank You AVE Owner and Staff.“
“I go because when I visit from Texas it's close to home but I also struggle with feeling comfortable alone. The bartenders are sweet and make my drinks sufficiently but I wish the food trucks and karaoke were back like before. All the Finnegan's people are there now so they have a line that I hate because no one enjoys waiting in the cold. I wish it was bigger, the bathroom was bigger and more clean but who can control adults. I say they are alright with me and worth a visit. Oh and if they aren't busy, get some jerky. I think it's homemade.“
“I very rarely ever post reviews on google but this place so great I had to, so here we go. Where do I even start! We loved this place! So glad it's here. I guarantee we'll be here multiple times a month. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we had nothing but the best experience possible. The chips and salsa was fresh! The fries are seasoned and crispy! All of their plates were DELICIOUS. The shrimps are large and cooked to perfection. The seafood cocktail is the best I've had anywhere in Northern California. The tortillas were handmade and top tier. The calamari was seasoned and battered perfectly. The molcAjete was so GOOD that I literally drank the rest of the sauce. The sauce is so unbelievably good; I can't even explain it. They recently opened to it's still picking up. But nevertheless it's quiet and hospitable. Try it! You won't regret it!“
