“It was just amazing! We had a schedule mistake with our last venue and 3 days before the event they accommodated us without any issues! The food was absolutely great from the pastas to the crab! Also their focaccia bread is by far the best I've ever had. Their event staff and bartenders were completely helpful, kindhearted and fun. They made this event run so smoothly. Thank you so much!!! “I am rooting for this local business as they deserve all the support they can get. I ordered two items off their limited menu: fried chicken sandwich and fried chicken loaded fries. I thought the crispiness of the chicken was absolutely perfect; however, I did think the chicken meat itself lacked a lot of flavor. I thought the fries were cooked to perfection and tasted great with the spice blend that I believe the owner created himself. Some things that would have made it a lot of better was if they had added some lettuce or onions to the burger as it was literally just a piece of fried chicken sandwiched in between 2 buns for $12. The loaded fries could have used some more toppings like onions, some bacon bits, jalapenos, cilantro, and maybe drizzled with a homemade creamy or spicy sauce. These additions would not only take their food to the next level but just give the food that extra pop of color to make it more appealing! The store was hard to find and was located on a one way street in downtown Stockton. There is not a clear sign outside on the building besides a stand up sign outside. From the outside, it may look closed. Tip: I parked about a block away and decided to walk. They are at the end of a chain of stores located right next to a parking lot! It was also empty when I visited and there was a lot of seating. The service was great as they took my order and had my food ready within 10 minutes. Although I understand it is located in downtown which can get more dangerous at nighttime, I wish they had the option to do delivery or be open later as this would made a perfect a quick dinner or a late night snack delivery. I hope to be back to try some of their desserts.“
“The first visit was during a late lunch hour, which was not busy at all. The vibe was lovely. Lovely decor with basic table setup. Bar area is lovely. Service was friendly and welcoming but slow even though business was slow. Timing with sitting, ordering, and receiving food was about 1 hour and change for 2 people. Nearby parking garage available if you can't find street parking. Area is shaky, so do not leave valuables in your vehicle. Not even drinks in your cup holders. Indoor and outdoor seating. Photo backdrops are the jam here. The drink menu is exquisite and will not disappoint. Check out the website with a lot more info for the nightlife.“
“The AVE owner was so kind. My partner had a family member taken to the local hospital, and I was left with our dog, and two friends because of hospital policy. So I took the dog and friends downtown. We were looking for a place to sit down, snack, and wait till my partner was ready to leave the hospital.The owner let us bring our dog inside, and gave us a nice table and couch to sit on. We let our German Shorthair Pointer sleep on the couch, and the owner was so kind.We are so thankful for the hospitality and kindness that were shown. We were dressed for a hike, not a club, and the owner made us feel welcome.Thank You AVE Owner and Staff.“
“This is one of the top 3 restaurants I have been to recently!!! The food was amazing and fresh!! We had the fried Asparagus as an app, we split a shrimp Louie salad and we had some of the arugula and prosciutto pizza. The drinks were strong and not too sweet. I had one of the "Im seeing stars" & one "punch drunk love." They were both delicious. If you are in the area you must stop by and give them a try!! The only thing that as a tiny bit off was the music, it didnt match the amazing atmosphere of the restaurant.“

Great suggestion on the wine.Only complaint I have is that both me, and my friends steak were undercooked, and overcooked respectively. I ordered medium rare and got closer to rare, and my friend ordered medium and got no pink in the middle.I’d def give this another chance, and there’s nothing else to criticize. Enjoyed my visit“
