“The service was excellent. The owner is so kind and generous. I tried the chicken lule kebob wrap it was huge so they are generous with portions. The wrap had good flavor and was very filling, the chicken was just a bit too tender for my liking. My sister got the beef kebab plate and loved it. Excellent food & service. The place is also clean and has a welcoming atmosphere. Nice little spot in the heart of Sun Valley.“

“First time visiting this place. Lots of wonderful people that were there during our visit. The staff was incredible and beyond nice. They had no problem going around and making sure every glass was full of fresh coffee. They would ask from time to time if everything was ok and if we needed anything. They made us feel like family. “I was hungry and I wanted subway so I helped my way to subway which was next door BUT I passed by this place a few times before when exiting and decided to try it out. First off, the place gave big Texan vibes or at least it's supposed to haha but I suspect that those days are over and the restaurant decor and ambiance are just here for the sake of not needing to decorate again and such. I was greeted by no one at the front, now before anyone decides to be upset by that the welcome desk they had at the front is now abandoned so don't expect someone at the front. It's probably because at one point this place was really bustling and they had multiple wait staff to handle such situations but now not so much OR it's because it's probably used during the weekends in the morning for when they are busier either way to get seated you should just go past the desk and go towards the back to locate the wait staff because they are doing their best to take care of the guests they currently have which by the way there are only two waiters so it's understandable. Anyways I was seated and I was hungry! The menu was what you would expect! Tex-mex mix with some local diner favorites kind of like a dennys but in my opinion better becauseee the quality of the food was actually pretty good! I got the Crispy Taquitos and Christina's burger. So i went to town when I received my food and first off I went for the taquitos and wow they were true to their name! Crunchy and crispy! The insides were filled with the beef and I think some sautéed peppers in there topped with a drizzle of crème and salsa verde with a scoop of guacamole in the middle and salsa for dipping! The flavor was great and the meat was tender! I really enjoyed them! I went for the burger next! Ok so I have to say the watermelon threw me off haha but it's probably there because the person who named this burger Christina lol probably like watermelon with their burger haha. The burger was on a nice seeded brioche bun with a 1/3 lb delicious juicy beef patty topped with grilled onions, mushrooms and the crowning topper BACON a generous amount with nice slices and crispy too! The burger was bursting with flavor and for some reason beef, cheese, bacon, grilled onions and mushrooms ALWAYS go well together....food is awesome haha. The fries weren't too bad! They were lightly seasoned with Cajun seasoning and it was nice and hot and they were shoe string fries which I appreciate a lot! With that being said I have three gripes about things I saw while waiting. 1. One of the servers was gonna do some work while waiting for guests and or food to come out. This server dropped their towel on the floor and picked it up....then started wiping down utensils with it and putting them away for use on the counter. 2. The same server brought out food for the guests and before serving them brought the food to the counter and used his barehand to "fluff" the food meaning to make it a little more presentable by spreading out the ingredients on it just a tad that way it looked nicer and evened out instead of it all in the center. 3. Another server who came out to do some work while waiting for food or guests brought more utensils to wipe down and set up for guests to use. The server dropped a utensil on the floor and picked it back up wiped it off and put it back with the clean ones and continued to wrap it. Now a few things here about it gross lol and also maybe instead of doing those things take it to the utensil back and have it washed again. Use a different towel when you drop the one you're gonna use to wipe the utensils with and maybe use gloves to set the food up for presentation next time. All these things can be fixed by having them train a little better in my opinion a guest doesn't need to blast the workers and call them nasty names and or say things that aren't necessary because we make mistakes. So instead of doing those things just politely tell the management, "hey i saw something's regarding cleanliness with y“

“I was offered an all-expenses paid trip to the "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅) on Franklin Avenue. During this All-American™ escapade, I was slyly offered a small bag, containing salt-upon-sea, by a dishevelled, camoflauged Hollywoodian native whilst engourging of the delicacies delivered by this All-American™ "Clark Street Diner" (克拉克街餐厅). I indulged in this salt-upon-sea once entering their one (1) lavatory. This legal and easily accessible substance enhanced my dining experience tenfold. It should be offered at the table, and is my only complaint with the experience. I should not rely on local pathfinders to expand my experience.Vegetarian options: No.Kid-friendliness: The kids were very friendly ! They thoroughly enjoyed my salt-upon-sea.“

Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. “Where do I start with how much I love this place? As a photographer it's a joy and a delight to be here but even without the fact that I've worked there many times... The food the decor, the staff.. if you get a chance to meet Eden Alpert you're lucky. Always kind.... And you'll notice that she's probably having the best time of anyone. The music and the performers are top-notch. It's not uncommon to see some of the top names in jazz.. however don't be surprised if you see Seth MacFarlane doing songs from Sinatra or an Amy Winehouse tribute. Sound mix is even and the perfect volume. Highly recommend the Caesar salad with a plate sized parmesan crisp and the mini ahi tuna tacos and save room for the hot chocolate cake. Food is top of the line and jazz club is elegant and upscale. Can't wait to eat and shoot pics there again soon.“

“3rd visit - Obsessed! Innovate cuisine and meticulous cocktails at the level everywhere else wishes they could. Negroni - All time fav because the bitter punches hard (sometimes too hard). This is the best I've had! Bitter and sweet balance exquisitely - not brusque. Crispy Potatos - Well done, but makes you wonder if size is right. Close to being a french fry - but large! Crispy outside, soft inside, well seasoned. Mildly curious aioli pair well. Not perfect. Maybe needs another sauce? Seared Hokkaido Scallops - Scared green curry would overpower delicate scallops, but texture remains in tact. Curry pulls out creaminess. Delicate, but flavorful. Warm and clean. Scallion paratha is so necessary to give heavy depth! Cheesecake - Yooo!! Creme Brule is my fav and this is rivaling it! Bright and tart while velvety with deep. Not heavy! You'll regret not getting. Martini - A must every visit! I love olives, but tried lemon this time and loved how big of a difference it made! Excited to try gibson/onion next!“

“It's a tiny whole in the wall, stopped for dinner only because of the name. Prices are super high to me, for the amount of food that you get. A soda is $5.50. ?Cute Menus, they also had a QR for the menu. Should've looked at the prices before I ordered. $70 for 2 people. Never again. Sorry Not sorry.“

“Obsessed with the vibe of this place! It is relatively new and feels that way for sure. The lighting is moody and aesthetic and the whole dining layout is visually interesting. I like how there are also tables of all sizes to accommodate various parties. If you have been to Granville in Burbank which is nice already, this location feels classier and fancier. The food (especially the artisan bread and butter) is delicious. I appreciated how easily customizable the meals were. I swapped brussel sprouts with my steak for a salad and my friend swapped one of her sides as well with no grief. They also have a nice happy hour menu, not a lot of variety there but reasonable price cuts. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the service was a little slow but everyone was friendly and helpful. It isn’t a huge restaurant because although it is two stories, the second floor has a huge opening to enjoy the alcohol/light feature. My party made a reservation and it worked out great. We got there early and got drinks at the bar until our table was ready and easily relocated. If you want to go out to a fun and tasty spot, I recommend this place!Parking: Valet is $8 - otherwise you have to look for street parking and hope for the best.“

“I've been following the Chef Lemos' progress with development of this restaurant and after the success of Wax Paper I was really excited to try it. My wife and I stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Outdoor patio has a good deal of seating in the front and a lot in the back, but the front has a view of the river, which you can also hear occasionally when an obnoxious and pretentious woman isn't drowning everything else out (that's not a knock on the restaurant, just the hipster attitude of some people). The food and drink options are solid. I got the breakfast burrito which was excellent and my wife had the eggs 'n' curds which she enjoyed. The star of the meal was her brunch cocktail, the Superbloom which came at the suggestion of our server. My wife mentioned she could have enjoyed a pitcher of it, especially in the outstanding weather we had. Caution to driving in, however, the construction of several apartment buildings is a little potentially rough on your tires so be mindful. I look forward to returning for dinner in the future. Keep it up Pete!“

“This is a great Korean American fusion spot. The staff have a lot of heart! And of course the food hits right. I had the Galbi Burger which was quite unique, the beef was marinated with Asian flavors. I loved it. I do wish the portion size was bigger though.Lots of options here for vegans and vegetarians too.Parking is so-so, as is the case with most places on this street.Small sidewalk patio with sunny seating. “This place is always amazing. I don't know why it's taken me this long to write a review. We had the Wood Oven Roasted Eggs, their incredible House-made Grilled Italian Sausage, Farmers Market Fruit Plate, and Pablo, who gave us great service, recommended the House-made Strozzapreti Pasta with Mushroom Bolognese (which can be ordered Vegan with Nutritional Yeast instead of the Grana Padano) and it was out of this world. We all had the Ricotta Cheese & Fresh Blueberry Pancakes, some of the best I've ever had anywhere. We sat outside which is lovely, it was cool out, but they had ample heating, and the outside chairs are extremely comfortable, not like those terribly uncomfortable metal chairs and stools that you see almost everywhere around the country, including and especially, LA. I love the old-world feel of the inside as well, but it was so beautiful outside today. I cannot wait to come back here.Vegetarian options: for Brunch: Fried Mushroom Po Boy & the Strozzapreti, among others.“
