Food tasted great ended up really full and had to just relax for a bit. Definitely recommend but it can go towards the upper 10s in cost per person.“

“Excellent breakfast , service, and yummy masa used for tortillas. We ordered nopales con huevo, tacos de pescado, y tacos dorados de res. The huevos con nopales, beans and rice tasted similar to how a family member might cook them at home. The coffee was large size and served in a mug, and the tortillas were handmade with yellow corn. The space is cute with natural light, plants, bright colors, murals, historical photographs on the walls.“

“I love Shawarma with Tahini sauce. When I found this restaurant accidentally as I picked up the order for UberEats customer, I knew I saw them on Instagram before, so I decided to go back the next day drove from Hollywood and tried Wagyu shawarma and fries. I liked it expect they include lamb in it. I’m not a fan of lamb that comes with distinct smell, so next time I’ll request without lamb. Also when I saw it on instagram, their fries were much bigger than what it is now. The name Wagyu is exaggerating since their meat didn’t come from Japan obviously, but overall I liked it ( minus lamb) and definitely try it again and again when I go back to Studio City. The staff was professional and attentive. Their free coffee is a wonderful treat for me.“

I also always get a side of rice by itself. Very flavorful. There is so much savoriness which I definitely appreciate, but you might need the lime and pickled onions to cut the richness, but you should use the accoutrements anyway. I get my tacos without avocado because I'm allergic so that probably also changes the profile a bit and you might find they are perfect as it. I'm also mostly dairy free and haven't had the versions with the crispy cheese so I'm sure they taste great as well. I'll probably give in and try it one day. I also want to try to the potato. My husband ordered me an agua fresca once that was cucumber something, I can't remember, but it ended up having fresh strawberries in it too and I'm once again, allergic (I'm real fun) so he drank it and said it was really good. “I'm officially a big fan of Skaf's. The kabobs are amazing. So juicy and flavorful. And the spices give each skewer that comforting, zesty taste that has you deeply savoring each bite. If you've had excellent Lebanese food before, then you know what I'm talking about. I ordered for pickup so didn't eat in. However, I was very impressed with the setup. Very modern and clean, but still homey, intimate, and inviting. The service? Everyone there was incredibly friendly and hospitable. They're clearly people that aim to please! Love it. The only thing that didn't wow me was the rice. The rice was just average. But the fresh crunch of the cabbage salad more than made up for it. If you're near Glendale and craving Middle Eastern / Mediterranean, then this is the spot!“

It's garlicky and salty and there seems to be some kind of chili and maybe a hint of citrus? Whatever it is, it's delicious. And while the kebabs are clearly the stars here, the salads are also not to be missed, especially the Shirazi. Really though, it doesn't matter what you get, at Mini Kabob it's all going to be exceptionally good. Enjoy!“

“Joe’s Falafel is worthy of the overwhelmingly positive reviews. After a long day out, my family and I were looking for something filling for dinner and came across Joe’s. William took our order and was so kind and welcoming. We got wraps and the hummus and gyro plate and all of it was incredible. The hummus is smooth and tasty, the meat is well seasoned and tender, and the veggies are all fresh. They make their own lafa and I don’t think I’ve had a better chicken shawarma wrap. We ordered the turmeric fish hotpot which was full of flavor with crispy rice and soft flavor fish that was amazing. Everything else we ordered did not disappoint--the watercress salad with beef was fresh and tender, steamed rice cakes with shredded shrimp and taro root crispy rolls were unique spins on traditional dishes that were really shareable and delicious. “Dropped in on a whim for lunch yesterday and could not have been more wowed... my wife and I got their cheese and mushroom tasting menu which was extremely reasonably priced for the extremely high quality food and service we received. Despite the electric feeling of the open kitchen in the center of the bar, it never felt panicked or frantic. We sat at the bar and were promptly greeted by a manager who filled us in on their menu and the concept of the restaurant (fresh pasta shipped from Italy daily including eggs the likes of which can only be found there!). Then, an equally friendly and helpful server came and grabbed our order. After a few minutes, I was surprised to see one of the chefs himself whip around from working over a burner to plate our pasta for us straight out of the pan and present us with our first course (as he would continue to do for each subsequent course). He smiled saying, "Oooh, this is a velvety one! The pasta water must be really good today... You'll love this!" He seemed just as excited as we were. I also got a glass of vermentino to wash everything down, but I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes and other wines on their list. The entire experience just felt so passionate and organic in its approach to simple but perfected pasta dishes. The best part is undoubtedly the pasta itself, but it was a nice cherry on top to see this is a "no tipping" restaurant that charges a 16% pre-tax service fee... I assume this place just pays their workers what they deserve because DAMN they worked as a team flawlessly. I just love everything about this place now, so I highly recommend you go.“
