“I like this place. They have a great wine selection and their charcuterie and small plates are delicious. The Marcona almonds are well flavored/seasoned. The olives are also well-marinated. Their meat board contains delicious selections of cured meats and cheese with some sweet jam. All of these items pair nicely with their Chilean red, which is a reasonably priced and tasty bottle. I've only eaten inside but they have a nice patio in the back. The inside is dim and cozy. This is a great spot for a date night or a night out with friends. It's not cheap by any means, but they deliver solid service, food, and wine. Enjoy!“
“We arrived on a Friday at around 11:00am and got seated right away. The restaurant has outdoor seating with heaters which I thought was really nice. Our food was great!! I order the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon and egg. Everything was delicious and por portions was plenty. My husband ordered the Mexican omelette with a side of has browns and toast and he too enjoyed his food very well. The ranchero salsa was delicious.The service was quick and very efficient. On top of that everyone was very friendly and helpful.The star of the meal was the cafe de olla! This is a must if you try out this place.The only thing is parking can be a little tricky and may have to park on the street or nearby neighborhood. Highly recommend this place.“

We swapped the regular fries with sweet potato fries. We didn't know it when he ordered but they were garlic fries and let me tell you they were... Pretty good! My wife had to leave her regular fries to steal my sweet potatoes.My daughter had the kids meal burger sliders on Hawaiian bread. The serving of fries was NOT kid size. She was over the moon... She loves fries.We ordered dessert, cookies and ice cream. My daughter thought she was in heaven. They veganized so many items that you can’t find in most places. The chocolate chip cookies were delicious, concha’s super tasty, Tres Leches was chef’s kiss, turnover amazing, danish great, cupcakes yum, eclairs fantastic and empanadas scrumptious. Sam was super cool and he told us about how all the dressings were made from scratch — and they did not disappoint! The fries were delicious. I love fries that are both soft and crunchy. “First time trying this spot out. We picked up since we live a block away walked there and man I am so happy we have a great wood-fired pie in the neighborhood! What a great pizza!! We got the deluxe which for the prize was decently priced. The pizza is wood-fired so the crust was amazing. “A great place for a beer. An excellent place for a pizza. They have a long list of terrific house-made beer, and the pizza is super tasty--the ultimate combination! This place has just the right vibe you'd want from a brewery. The difference is that some breweries feel very industrial. But Macleod feels homey and very local. Case in point: parking can be difficult sometimes. The first time I was able to park in the front lot, but I was blocking somebody. I went around the bar and found the guy I'd blocked in, and we agreed to find each other later and switch the cars. All very casual and chill, which made me feel right at home. Throw in a patio with a "scenic" view of a dark side street and some light industrial businesses, and you get the deal. Two more visits later, it's one of my favorite beer places in L.A.“

“Hanks is about a 15-minute walk from where I live. The Sherman Oaks location. You have to get there fairly early because sometimes they run out of bagels because they are very popular. (I am not a morning person and neither is my son. So to us fairly early means before 1 p.m.) But on the weekends we love to walk to Hanks, because they are so good! Sometimes we just get bagels and cream cheese, sometimes we get bagel sandwiches. I'm a vegetarian and my son is not. They have options for everyone. Actually, I'm not sure if they have gluten-free. Anyway, we usually get our bagels to go. They put on tons of cream cheese, so there's enough to share a finger full with my cat. As we were walking down the block , my son holding the bag of bagels, a guy walked past us and said, " Is that from Hanks?" We said yeah, and the guy said, "They are awesome! Waited an hour and a half, finally went in to see what was going on and our order was never made. (Computer mistake) which I understood so then I asked to have our order to go. We waited and our food wasn’t put in to go containers. So we ate our food and they messed up scrambled eggs. They were inedible. Overall just terrible. They had such high reviews it was very upsetting.“
