“We stopped by here on the way out of Home Depot, and decided to get a breakfast burrito and a quesadilla, and OH. MY. GOSH. They were so good. So good in fact we went back the next morning (a Sunday) only to find they were closed! Anyone know what their hours are?“

Holly’s Crepes (community Pop up) Dessert • $$

“Been loving crepes for almost a decade and I haven't found my new favorite place in years, but this place might be it! FOOD: Ordered the Happy Sweet Nutella and it was everything I would hope for! A big crepe that did not skim out on fruit (both inside and on top), which I haven't seen at any legit brunch place in the south bay I've been to so far. The batter itself was good and wasn't soggy--a good balance of crisp and softness. There was also a lot of Nutella inside, but not so much that it was overwhelming. Also, a small cup of chocolate syrup was given on the side. Overall, 5/5! SERVICE: My boyfriend did all the interaction and he said the lady was super sweet and friendly. The food was made within 5 mins, so very quick! They also accept cash or card. LOCATION: It's located in a small plaza with its own parking lot. It was a bit difficult to find since it's not a typical shop or restaurant. You'd see a few bulletin boards, which will have the shop's menu on there as well as others restaurants. Then you'll see a door with a small doorbell. It looked closed, but you just have to ring the doorbell and someone will come and take your order!“

“It was a pleasure to use Anytime is Taco Time for my daughter's engagement party. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent! Lidia was wonderful to work with! “Good tea and snacks, but I'd stay away from the popcorn chicken. I've been coming here for a couple years or so now and the drinks have always been good. I also recommend the egg puffs and fried tofu, but not the popcorn chicken because one time it came undercooked. Also I've noticed milk tea in general is very sweet so the best option imo is 30-50% sugarVegetarian options: All the tea options are vegetarian (not all are vegan) and a lot of the snacks are vegetarianKid-friendliness: Nothing much to say other than there's nothing that isn't kid friendly in the establishmentParking: Good amount of parking spots in front of t4, Safeway, and the other nearby buildings“

“This is for the Sunnyvale farmer's market. I love this place! I get a a vegan wrap as part of my weekly routine (spinach and garbanzo beans), which is amazing, great way to refuel after my morning jog! The lady is very friendly and we always chat a little. I hope their business is doing well.“

Los Carnales Taqueria Food Cart Mexican • $$$
1101 N 10th St, San Jose

“My husband and I saw a red tent on the side of 10th Street in San Jose and we smelled something delicious. There was a food stand there with covered seating. The menu was small. They specialized in something I have never had, Birria. This is stewed beef from the cows head. It's a delicacy from Michoacán. They gave us a slice of the beef to sample. Soft savory deliciousness. Three Tacos ,please!! They also make a Ramen with the heavenly beef broth. I spoke with the owner Pedro Sanchez who introduced us to his daughter Sarai and his brother Jesus. This family business is not just a Taco Stand it's a destination for something amazing and culturally relevant - Birria. The tacos were absolutely memorable. The corn tortillas were the best I have ever had. They have a condiment station in the back with cilantro, onions, and salsas. I washed everything down with a Cantaloupe Agua Fresca. So refreshing. My husband said he could have eaten 12 of these tacos and asked why we didn't get the Ramen. His training is coming along. Life Changing food at this modest festive cheerful Taco stand keeping the tradition of Birria alive and well in San Jose.“

Siam Loco Wraps Thai •
660 E Gish Rd, San Jose

“Siam Loco Wraps makes a mean golden wrap with yellow curry sauce, chicken, and a delicious tortilla. It's kind of messy so prepare well when getting from the food truck. The wrap filled me up nicely for lunch, and I would even say that I talked myself into the last few bites...it was big. The price is right, too (~$7). I would recommend this wrap to others for sure!“
