I love this place, supper tidy and clean. I LOVE the combination of Cafe and Chess. For those who love to play chess, I recommend this place. Get yourself a matcha/coffee and play a game.
If you have yet to try Historia Bakery Café in Thousand Oaks, you're missing out on some truly great coffee creations. The beans are perfectly roasted, and unusual menu items like Los Cubano (double shot with brown sugar and crema) and the Blueberry Lavender Latte are a real treat. Don't forget the actual treats, though. Omfg, the pastries. All are, in a word, incredible. The lemon bars are subtly sweet/tart, not overpowering, and the croissant creations are expertly flaky. This was the best cafe I’ve ever been to. I really loved the environment and the customer service. The owner went above and beyond to make us happy and she did just that. The food was insanely tasty and great quality.
