“I went to lunch here with my friend who recently went here for lunch and she absolutely loved it and wanted me to try it. OK. I love trying new places!The inside was super clean and had a good ambience. Our waitress was over-the-top great and was there to give recommendations and answer any questions we had. She also delivered our food in a very timely manner and made sure our drinks were always filled.My friend and I both had the lunch special of the Pad Thai with vegetables and their dumplings. The lunch special came with rice (brown or white, a spring roll and soup or salad) I chose the brown rice (very different than your typical brown rice) and the salad. The salad had a Thai peanut dressing on it and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious! The salad was very fresh and had carrot shavings, cucumber and tomato. The spring roll was very fresh and tasty especially when dipped in the orange colored sauce they serve the dish with. My friend had the white rice and Miso soup which she enjoyed. Now for the pad Thai.......I was expecting a typical Thai dish of pad Thai. This was not it. I didn't think it had much flavor, or at least what I am used to, and it wasn't spicy at all. I did ask for hot chili sauce which they had and delivered to us. It did help a bit but I wasn't a fan. The veggies were just ok. They did seem to be very fresh. My only comment was that I didn't enjoy the flavor of it. Now my friend...she absolutely LOVED it! She had the same exact dish as I did but obviously she has a different palate and/or taste in food. It just goes to show you how restaurant reviews vary with each person. We did both agree that the dumplings were great and flavorful.With that being said, I will most likely go back and try something different and give it another try. How can I not when the service was fabulous, the food was fresh and the restaurant was very clean.”

“My favorite Pho in the area! The broth has the perfect blend of spices and seasonings. The rich flavor is enhanced by the addition of shrimp which are large, tender and plentiful. Or, choose from a variety of beef or chicken, or just broth and noodles. I love the generous size served in authentic dish ware. Plus it is unlimited noodles! Who does that? These super nice people do! I also love the shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, the lettuce and mint are tender and the sauce has a unique zing. In the mood for fries? Parmesan truffle fries here hit the spot. Shoestring thin, super hot, crispy on outside but a little tender inside and a liberal helping of shaved fresh Parmesan with the truffle oil and herbs on top. You will leave feeling satisfied I promise you.”

They have lots of homemade Italian family favorites like guanciale, or hard to find Italian foodstuffs.But the real delight is for under $10 they have the best sandwiches in town, hands down. I get the six inch Italian Deli sandwich anytime I'm around for lunch and it's always the perfect amount of food and a great sandwich for the money.”

“They used to have a covered outdoor patio but that got taken down but it looks like the place was remodeled recently because I don't remember it looking like this the first time. We visited during the pandemic as our first time and this was our second time back. We were greeted and the lady at the cash register was very friendly and pleasant. I didn't know if I should get the torta or a burrito. I always get a burrito so I decided to opt for the torta this time; it was a good choice. They loaded the torta up with fresh ingredients, including fresh cheese, and avocado, and they have the grilled onions on the side, which were delicious addition with a little bit of chips. I got horchata to drink, and it was very tasty. Perfect mixture. Overall, the establishment was very clean and there was plenty of sauces and sides to complement the dishes. The dishes or bag, and I would've loved for my boyfriend to share my torta, but he was too hungry and the food was too good. The customer service was top-notch and we would definitely return again.”

This one stands out as one of the very best in terms of service, freshness of menu selections, ability to have a conversation without overwhelming loud music and noise, and ambience. The menu selection is varied so there’s something for everyone. Boroka and Jorge have created something truly special with their gem of a restaurant. I rate it as my favorite.”

Excellent crust that was perfectly thin and crispy, sauce was balanced, not too sweet and not too much of it, cheese was delish and had a nice cheese pull, pepperoni, which I don't usually like) was nice and crispy. But don't let me tell you how to eat their food...just let me tell you what I ordered. I have been here twice. I ordered something different each time. First time, I ordered I got the Americano. Second time, I got the italiano. Omg!!! Both sandwiches knocked my socks off. Chock full of high quality meats and cheeses...and the toppings were an absolute delicious complement to the sandwich. The bread is fresh and soft and a perfect delivery tool for the amazing ingredients.When you get here, there will probably be a line. But it moves very fast. Don't be discouraged. Just get in line. The person taking your order knows all the sandwiches very well and they are happy to help you navigate the menu if you need it. I went with five friends. We all got a different variety of sandwiches. Everyone was pleased.This place also serves as an Italian market. Lots of nice offerings. Including containers of sauces and frozen pasta's and even lasagna. Great idea to take some of these well-made ingredients and make some thing. Fabulous at home. They do have specials. Usually a half sandwich and a side for about the same money as a large sandwich. So, it depends on if you are good at managing leftovers or just want enough food to finish in one sitting. I haven't made my way around to the lunch specials because I'm still working on their specialty sandwiches. Hot tip: get a side of the Italian dressing to dip your sandwich in. OMG! It's so good! They make it in-house and it is very obvious that they put a lot of love into each of their things even their Italian dressing. Are you still reading? Get your butt over there and order something. My personal favorite addition to their already-famous wine and in-house craft beer list is a full bar with an amazing bartender, James. James has a ton of experience in the industry, has a fantastic personality, is incredibly well-versed in "craft whiskeys" from across the country (of which their bar is fully stocked), and is equally skilled at striking up your friendly neighborhood conversation or creating his own customized concoctions to meet your given mood and taste buds. “My wife and I have been eating at Bangkok Avenue and also doing take-out for the past 5 years or more. The food and service are excellent. Also, there is a large lot with free parking. We like Bangkok Avenue so much, we drive 30 to 40 minutes to get there from our home. We have ordered many different items from the menu, and we have enjoyed everything we have ordered. My personal favorite is the Garlic Almond Shrimp, which I get practically every time I eat at Bangkok Avenue. The Mango Sticky Rice also is a great dessert. [Note: the donut shop next-store also is fabulous, but they close at 2 in the afternoon]. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We have tried multiple other Thai restaurants in the Conejo and San Fernando Valleys, and Bangkok Avenue is unquestionably the best we have had. There is only one other Thai restaurant at which we have eaten where the food is as good as Bangkok Avenue, but that restaurant is in Santa Monica and the prices are substantially higher and the environment is m ore sterile and less comfortable. If you are looking a a good Thai meal, you cannot go wrong with Bangkok Avenue.”

“As an Italian from NYC who grew up on the best pizza in Queens (Rosa’s), this is likely the best pizza in California, similar to a favorite of mine that closed in El Segundo - the Grimaldi’s pizza chain from Brooklyn. They have a great special before 4pm weekdays, $20 for a pizza pie and 2 real Italian ices.They however need to put in a major renovation on the seating area. Un frost the windows and add new booths and TV’s.And a minor issue they don’t toast the bread on heroes, something I never experienced before. They also need to set aside parking at the Italian ice store beside their place.”

“Arrived for a Friday lunch and were seated quickly in a booth. Server was Frank, and he was awesome!! I had signed up for the e club, so we chose the firecracker shrimp starter. It was delicious. My son ordered the bison burger with no lettuce or tomato and he enjoyed it. He said the bison was delicious. He really enjoyed the fries. I ordered the lunch size Kung pao chicken with brown rice and I enjoyed it. My son ordered a huckleberry beer and Frank brought him a taste of a similar beer, Walrus IPA, to try and my son actually preferred the one Frank suggested. We ended up also ordering the apple and huckleberry pie which we both enjoyed. Great service and delicious food!”

“Well a friend of mine and I had the munchies. He wanted to order Pizza from a restaurant. What turned me off from ordering was the mention of Pineapple on the pizza ?. So we bickered back and forth until we agreed on Tacos. I grabbed the keys and we headed to the Taco Bell ??..near the DMV. I always would drive to the Newbury Park location on Wendy Road.. When we arrived, the parking lot wasn't filled up. This eatery is in the location of one of the busiest shopping centers in the area.To start the DMV is located in the same space and there is a Gelsons Supermarket ?,McDonald's and a Hardware store. The drive thru was hopping with car's. THIS location isn't too familiar with me..the cashier took our orders and we spent close to 20-25.00.I included some pictures,just to give you an idea of our meal.. we dined in and out order did take some time. The choice of food for myself was meatless and vegan items. From burritos, tacos with beans (hard shell) and tacos with hash browns. I did have a fountain drink. My friend ordered most burritos and other items with meat.After our dinner, I needed to make a trip to the washroom. There are two bathrooms and they were very clean. No foul smells either. Over all this locations receives plenty of take out and Door dash orders. The restaurant was clean,no food on the tables, floor's and booth's. Most certainly recommend this location as well. Again the digital menus can be confusing at times. Especially when you are looking for a specific item.Vegetarian options: I do not eat meat and this is one of the specific reasons why I always return here to Taco Bell ???. They allow me to order hard shell Tacos and substitute the beans in replace of meat.Parking: Due to the location.. careful backing up. Many drivers will speed into the parking area with no regards towards the other vehicle owners.n”

May seem a little pricey for a lunch special ($16.99 and $15.99) but it's a GREAT deal because after lunch it's $22, no drink (worth it either way.) You get what you pay for. Sauce is excellent - tastes like my Italian Grandma spent hours over the stove. Takes me four or five hours to make a sauce that tastes like that. 10 out of 10. Just a touch of sweetness, exactly the way I love it. The chicken and eggplant and salad were great, seasoned just right. My first time here but I will definitely be back to try the pizza. Other reviewers called it a hole in the wall, but I thought it was very nice and clean with great "pizza place" vibe. Other reviewers didn't like the servers, but mine (young man) was very nice and attentive. “We had a little fun the other day and got slices from a few places we hadn't tried yet (Parma, Slice House and Deninos). Parma was the clear winner for me. Excellent crust that was perfectly thin and crispy, sauce was balanced, not too sweet and not too much of it, cheese was delish and had a nice cheese pull, pepperoni, which I don't usually like) was nice and crispy. They have a great special before 4pm weekdays, $20 for a pizza pie and 2 real Italian ices.They however need to put in a major renovation on the seating area. Un frost the windows and add new booths and TV’s.And a minor issue they don’t toast the bread on heroes, something I never experienced before. They also need to set aside parking at the Italian ice store beside their place.”
