Based on a Jackie Diaz review on Nextdoor, we HAD to try Serai Bakery Panaderia TONIGHT!!! Past our normal dinner hour, but purchased pan dulce (pastries) and chicken soup. This was, by far, THE BEST soup in the area, with a choice of beef, chicken or seafood. The pan dulce churro was filled with Carmel de leche and our 18-year-old grandson selected several other bakery items and is gleefully indulging. Someone recommended this place, and they weren’t wrong. The bakery itself is very good, tried their pan con chicharrón and that was amazing. They have plenty of food options even at early hours. Their bread was very delicious as well. Plenty of parking, very friendly staff.

This is the most delicious and authentic Mexican food in all of Conejo Valley. The prices are absolutely unbeatable and the food is unbelievably fresh. I'm pretty sure it is family owned (which I love) so of course the service is great. The first time I tried it I got takeout and they did a great job packing it up. The second time I ate there and it was delicious. 10/10 recommend
