“(March 2024) First time trying the Caprice. Food was good, views of Golden Gate Bridge were fantastic! I wouldn't go there just for the food. Pretty pricey. You're not paying for the quality of the meal, your paying for the ambience and the views.”
“We had a fantastic evening and meal here. We came during happy hour and given the quality and taste of the food and champagne, the prices were relatively reasonable. We started with a flight of three caviars paired with three champagnes. They ranged from delicious to amazing. We then moved on to our small plates entree where our favorite dishes were a savory caviar bread pudding (not dense nor heavy) and an order of caviar deviled eggs. Would highly recommend both! We would definitely go back!”
“We dined for brunch and had a wonderful meal and experience. The food is really good and the cocktails were even better. Classic California flare.Highly recommend reservations for weekends, especially if you want to have a table outside. We prefer inside because it does tend to get windy. We had the smoked salmon pizza, the Greek salad with grilled shrimp and the Surfers ranchero. Highly recommend the Smoke or jalapeño cocktail.Service was top notch.”
“I had an amazing dining experience at Via Piccola Trattoria! The atmosphere was cozy and intimate, and the service was top-notch. But the real star of the show was the food - specifically, the Deluxe Pizza. It was absolutely perfect! The crust was crispy, the sauce was tangy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the care that went into crafting each bite. If you're a pizza lover like me, you won't want to miss this gem. Five stars and I can't wait to go back!”
“Squalo Vino is more than a wine bar. It's a place to enjoy wine of course but it's the ambience and attention, particularly from Kelly that really sets it apart. Not to say that everyone who works there isn't great! If Cheers could be reincarnated as an upscale wine bar, it would be called Squalo Vino...Love them!”
“The staff was especially attentive and the food was delicious, as always. Thank you!Dietary restrictions: When you make a reservation here they give you the option to input dietary restrictions. Neat!”
“Healthy tasty Indian selections in clean bright casual open space. Recommend the Humus pita pocket, every employee must be an owner with their happy and efficient service. Pleasant atmosphere where people actually talk to each other.,”
“I must admit the new manager Lukas has done a good job adding a more family kid friendly vibe after the place had become dominated by senior citizens who made the place all about rules and regulations. Club is greatly improving with offerings for all ages. The wine has historically been A++ and is probably at B+ now which is fine. Also appreciate some healthy and gluten free options that the kitchen has increased. Kitchen staff very kind and hard working. Net net the place is improving in general.”
“Everything was wonderful; the service, wine list and lunch specials were great choices. we opted for the salmon and spinach risotto which was outstanding. And of course, had a side of fries! Finally, the desert a chocolate flourless torte with amazing sauce. had not been here before but will definitely be back. Thanks for a great lunch!”
“Salt and Pepper was homey and it's on the street that winds and it's fun for a visitor locally. I had the crabcakes and it was pricey. Drank lemonade. Feels like Europe and a different world from San Francisco. Recommend this.”
“A staple of tiburon. A place that has phenomenal views, amazing drinks and delicious food. Def a must when in the area. Tried two of their cocktails - the one with the jalapeño was def amazing then I went with the Negroni. Also ordered the lobster roll which was so good. The buttered bread was def perfection. The clam chowder..bc duh. And also tried the blue cheese garlic bread which was also really good! Sam's def doesn't disappoint.”
“I found out about this place through a corporate at home wine tasting event and was excited to try their other wines. Went a couple days after Valentine's day and got the cutest Vday wine and chocolate pairing for only $40! It came with 5 tastings and 5 different truffles. I know everyone has different wine taste but per my palette, I really like this place because no matter if you're drinking rose, red or white, all the wines are extremely smooth. That's because they remove the tannins in the process instead of letting them age. Their intention is to drink the wine now, hence serving and selling mini 187mL bottles. The tasting rooms is small and cozy, with a huge counter and a couple lounge areas around it, but it was classy and chic, a perfect place to drink wine. The Manager (I didn't catch her name) was also extremely nice and helpful while explaining each wine to make sure we enjoyed it to the fullest. I will definitely be coming back to taste their new wines!”
“What a nice spot for a Peets Coffee. This location is spacious and usually very calm. The staff (especially Trudy) is very friendly and actually gets to know their customers. I certainly recommend spending your time and money here.”
“Thank you, Carlos, for the excellent service and Glenn for the piano music during dinner! The muscles and beef carpachio is a great dinner option in downtown Tiburon. Warm and friendly restaurant on the water!”
“I had a delightful experience at the Waypoint pizza. The pizza was delicious, the children's pasta with chicken was a hit, and the adult pasta was equally satisfying. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was enhanced by the Super Bowl showing on TV. A fast, tasty, and overall enjoyable visit.”
“Excellent food. I was worried it would be too Hawaiian and predictable, absolutely not. The only item that wasn't amazing was the baked Hawaii. It wasn't bad, just not great. One of our new favorite restaurants.”
“Going to a show, this is a great place to stop before the show. Just make sure you make a reservation, without one you’ll end up on the waitlist. The servers are great about asking what time your show is to make sure you’re out on time. Unfortunately, we felt ignored at the bar for way too long. We were there almost 15 min before we got a drink, and this is a lifetime when you’re sitting at the bar that holds 11 people total. Food was very good! The raclette foam could have had more raclette flavor, but I am just a good old cheese head. The duck was absolutely worth the order, I love this rich meaty dish and the way the pom seeds cut through the heaviness and add a burst of palate cleansing between each bite.”
“Dear friends steered us here and we had an amazing time. The service was impeccable, the food was phenomenal, and the vibe was "neighborhood gem." Go here!Dietary restrictions: Worked with my gluten allergy.”
“Best value tasting menu! Every menu item was delicious. Been there twice already. They change the menu every few days so there is always a reason to go back. Can’t believe they only charge $45.”
“If you want to try Filipino food in a different way, this is the best restaurant for you.Try ube colada.. it is good, but does not go well with pork adobo. The SING KING taste great!”
“from the creators of state bird comes another new american restaurant, more geared towards family style dishes. all of the dishes were tasty, ranging from good to amazing with a similar flavor profile as their sister restaurants so if you love state bird, you’ll love the progress. overall, the dishes were tasty but i was blown away by the cocktail.one punch man: one of the best cocktails i’ve ever had. perfectly balanced milk punch with nice creaminess, freshnessradicchio and point reyes salad: refreshing and tasty, good starter but nothing mind blowing. the cheese was deliciousartichoke toast: ordered based on waiter rec and glad we listened. best dish of the night. rich from the artichoke but the vinegar cut through. toast itself was perfectly made.brown butter seaweed noodles: would recommend! tasty umami flavor, al dente noodles. smaller portions tho.duck: perfectly cooked duck, not too chewy and nice smoky flavor. the wing was cooked through and also extremely flavorful. the two styles of cooking complimented each other. fried rice and kimchi were also tasty. pretty big portions, good to share with 4ppl.”
“Amazing food however recommend providing optional cushions for the blocky wood chairs. I have a hip injury and it was tough. The staff switched chairs to a less blocky chair but like all these places that are going for modern vibe or make it uncomfortable to turn tables, people with spine injuries pay the price. Giving 5 because food was awesome and staff did the best they could. Appreciate it.”
“Fantastic food, great service, excellent cocktails, and really interesting/diverse selection of Mexican wines. Weekend brunch is also really good. Best Mexican restaurant in SF!”
“Now called The Salty Dawg. Nice place for fancy drinks with friends. We went around 4:30 and the place was packed shortly after we arrived. Good vibes, good times.”
“I can't believe I've lived in San Francisco my entire life and hadn't had Liguria's focaccia until last month. I came in right before 9:00am on a Tuesday and was able to get three slabs of the pizza focaccia ($9 each), which is what my colleague who grew up in North Beach recommended, to bring to the office. It was easily one of the best focaccia I've ever had! No wonder they typically sell out well before they close for the day. I'll definitely be back to try the other kinds. Note: they're cash only.”
“Oh my GOODNESS this place did not disappoint. We had to make a reservation some 30 days in advance but it was well worth it.There’s something so easy about having a little plate brought around right to you and being able to say “Yes I want that right now please” and just being able to eat it immediately. Absolutely divine. And the flavors were just I N C R E D I B L E. Every dish had some many layers to it, it was just amazing.1000/10 would recommend!”
“One of the best pizzas in San Francisco. Very small place with a parklet out front. About 5 individual sized pizzas on offer, with a daily salad special, and two daily desserts. Very casual and unpretentious but the food is glorious. Has thrived for about 25 years.Parking: Challenging. Allow time. Or take Lyft, Uber, or the bus if you can.Wheelchair accessibility: Outside seating is accessible, inside would be a tight squeeze.”
“Alolo..Lolos! Well, here you can start a great tour of all the docks!! This is located on the side of the expressway. It is somewhat difficult to find free parking, but there are private ones at a cost.$$I liked that it is like a food court and inside there is this Oyster bar. In fact we started with an Oyster cocktail that has mix, Cajun sauce and an Oyster cherry!! Once we had put on our gloves, we entered into a clam chowder... but the time passed quickly. Recommended.”
“Everything you would want in terms of fresh fish and other delicious dishes. It’s only the chef and one other helper, which makes it a nice and intimate dinner. Hope chef continues the great work and get the recognition he deserves!”
“We got the first table as you walk in the place and felt cozy and comfortable. The service was excellent and the food quite good. The chef's complimentary chocolate truffles for the restaurant's 10 year anniversary were excellent. We will certainly be back!Dietary restrictions: Our friend is gluten free and was happy with the available options.”
