“Pretty good boba. I got the milk tea. It's wayyyyy too sweet so ask for less sweetness. That's the mistake I made. I got the milk tea boba with oatmilk. Service was good and it's cute inside. People were in there studying. Nothing special. I probably wouldn't come back. Meter parking in the area.“
“Me and my partner come here like 2x a day . We enjoy it so much . I love the staff and I can’t forget about the reward points program lol . I use to go to juice crafts until I started coming here . No shade to juice crafters ,but I get more bang for my buck here .“
“My boyfriend and I were craving for some healthy but filling food and stumbled upon Mad Rebel. And we are so glad we did and will definitely be coming back! The chef makes his own dressings and the ingredients were all so fresh. We got the Marley, Desperado, and Healthy Heart, and we were both blown away how delicious healthy food can be. The owner quotes “I want my food to give energy and for those eating it not feel gross after” and we sure left satisfied and feeling great!!“
“listen: its west LA, there are a *TON* of options... but none of them are as good as this. start with the chilaquiles -- they are *chef's kiss* incredible. and anything else you order will be impeccably seasoned, full of authentic flavor, and fresh. everything is “
“If you are looking for amazing protein shakes come here! There are so many options to choose from. The owner is always coming up with cool new flavors that always taste great. The shakes are also very affordable. Come check them out and if you don’t want a protein shake there’s so many other things to choose from“
“I really appreciate having an organic restaurant within about 15 minutes of where I live, and one that closes at midnight! I appreciate the menu choices, and the wonderful caring attitudes of the staff, the manager, Richard, and the owner, Mike. Thank you all!“
“Love this place. Cute, peachy and family owned. Great people and service. Prices were great too. Street parking can be tough but you can place an order online for a quick pick-up. I got an iced coffee, some toasts and a smoothie. I loved EVERYTHING! Menu is small but everything on there is great - just how I like it. So happy this local gem is a part of my neighborhood! Also happy to hear they're opening more locations so other can try their peachy deliciousness soon!! :-)“
“I love how they put black bean in the sandwiches and they also have couple of protein options the. Ice creams do taste like real fruit and I am so happy to feed my kids once in a while so they too try other fruit in a different form than at home. Is always crowed and I find it so con. Eminent always to just call and place my order for pick up. I'll be sharing picks once I get my food and ice cream because I am waiting in my cars for it to be ready“
“I cannot rave about this place enough! I love their açaí bowls. So good and jam packed with delicious toppings. I haven't had their drinks yet, but I'm sure they wouldn't disappoint. Every time I go, the ingredients taste and look very fresh which is a reason this place is go-to. Aside from that, the employees are so nice and professional. You can tell the owner knows how to satisfy their customers.“
“Really good seating! Great pesto sandwich. Wonderful new chill coffee shop. Staff was eager to please. Once they iron out a few things (like having iced tea for non-coffee drinkers and hot days), they're gonna have lines out the door to get a table. I'm an NYC expat and I do my best work on my laptop at a coffee shop. Can't wait to come back and try the coffee!“
“4 assorted donuts / 1 glazed, 1 reese peanut butter, 1 cinnamon sugar o-nut (cronut), 1 nutella strawberry o-nut - 5 ⭐!DK's Donut & Bakery in Santa Monica is an excellent, family-owned 24-hour donut shop and cafe that has been in business for over forty years. They have a mouth-watering selection of fresh donuts, including an impressive assortment of cronut inspired donuts.Their little shop is in a small strip mall in Santa Monica. I had no trouble finding parking right outfront. The shop has a colorful, pink-focused theme. They had an outstanding selection of donuts on display in their glass cases as well as a nice, large menu board offering up all kinds of snacks, drinks, and sandwiches. The four donuts I sampled on my visit to DK's were fantastic. It was honestly a very hard decision. I had to limit myself to four because when I buy donuts, I have very little self control and know I am going to eat them all the same day. Besides, donuts are always best when they are fresh. The strawberry nutella cronut style donut was amazing. Lots of rich, hazelnut spread flavor mixed with strawberry. The plain glazed donut was top notch. I always try to get a plain glaze and use it as a baseline. A great plain glaze donut is always a treat for me. The cinnamon sugar cronut and the peanut butter cup donut were also great.I know there are other "DK" donut places out there. This one is a real treat and I think it is the OG one. If you are in Santa Monica or are passing by, make sure you stop by and support a great local business!“
“I've had many açaí bowls from different spots and Roots & Rye just hits different. I loooooove that you can get not only the açaí blend but the matcha blend as well. Their portion size of each thing they add in the bowl is also perfect, not too much one one thing or another and there are definitely places that might overdo it on, say, the granola or the blended stuff. I've only been to this location so I can't speak for the other spots but at this one, they only let in a few people at a time which means a line can end up forming outside. I haven't had to deal with a long line before but it can definitely take some time to get everyone through and finally make it inside. Still, one of my favorite açaí places, if not my favorite!“
“A gem in Little Tokyo! One of my favorite places for matcha, and my top pick is the soft serve ?? The owners' attention is very friendly. The entire staff is attentive and always greets you with a smile. The space is quite small, and every time I've visited, it's always crowded. If you want to try something authentic, warm, and delicious, I recommend this place. ✨“
“The açaí bowls they have are absolutely delicious! They serve the food very fresh and fast, the ambiance is very chill and relaxed. Found this place on accident looking for bowls in the area & im so glad I did. Will 100% be coming back. The tea is amazing too.“
“Visited on a Friday night around 8pm.Ambiance is really nice and perfect for a date night. The staff was so friendly and the restaurant is picturesque. We ordered the following:Salt and Peppered Paella (living): 4/5Yucca Friend Pho Beef Everything was so good!!! They have so many options and the waitress was really helpful in providing recommendations. The servings are huge! I honestly can’t wait to go back.Highly recommend!! FYI no alcohol is served there but they have really fun drinks and teas!“
“Easily one of the best açaí bowl spots in west la. the main reason is the price and the diverse selection of toppings, base flavors, granola, etc. I like how you can customize your bowl as much as you want and you pay the same price - I usually get the smallest bowl for $9. They also have unique toppings like different chia puddings and matcha powder which sets them apart from other acai bowl places. The service is incredible every time - very fast and friendly. I'm grateful it's in my neighborhood so I can go as often as I do! Very cute and comfortable ambiance. I usually take it to go and it travels well but if I had time I would eat it there! Very clean and trendy aesthetic.“
“Dietary restrictions: I've been looking for buffala mozz due to dietary restrictions. It is not vegan but it is lactose free, which is my main concern. It has been super hard to find Italian restaurants that use this kind of cheese and I am so happy to have found this restaurant.“
“This place is right on the corner and I was able to park right to the left of it with the metered parking. I came mid week and in the middle of the day since it was a nice warm day. I got the ritual acai bowl with the original mix. It was a perfect combo and size to keep me going until dinner. The fruit was fresh and the peanut butter was the perfect amount for the whole bowl. The service was stupendous and I appreciated that he explained the different toppings they offered. The ambiance is chill and I definitely want to come back.“
“Best coffee shop service around! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Love the menu layout here which changes monthly/seasonally, including a sugar free menu. Fast service and drinks always come out perfect. They also sell some local items which have a few seasonal products mixed in. If ya want to relax while enjoying your beverage, the cute patio is just the place.“
“Tienen una selección muy amplia de bebidas sin llegar a ser demasiadas, la mía estaba muy buena, el lugar está limpio y tiene una estética minimalista, el postre estaba bastante rico sin llegar a ser empalagoso, y la bebida estaba bastante refrescante, si quieres tomar una bebida mientras te relajas una tarde de verano puedo recomendar este lugar.“
“It’s been years since i last stopped by before I moved to Chicago. Can’t leave without having my boba. I grew up in the K-Town District. You don’t always have a chance to come back home to visit.Kid-friendliness: You can get your kid ice cream, Oreo boba.“
“What a great breakfast/lunch spot! It's definitely a local spot. What doesn't go unnoticed is the amazing customer service! The vibe of this place is very welcoming! I have to note that all the ingredients are so fresh. I ordered a miso glaze salmon bowl and if you look at the image you'll see how big of a salmon pc I got! It was just enough greens and rice for a hearty meal! I also got their like a lady juice and it was perfect with this meal!Definitely will be back and I love that the walls have outlets so it's a good place to get some work done as well! They do have parking but it is in a plaza so it does get busy. There is a lot of street parking close by.“
“A delicious diner in the valley. It’s one of the better diners in the area which is already full of great and historic diners. It feels like you are eating in someone’s home. I would classify this place as a classic country style diner. The sort of place where locals lineup to have their daily meal and there is always a revolving board of specials. They have a fairly large menu with a ton of options on it and service is very fast. Our waiter was also really polite and we were checked in on many times by many different employees. They have a small parking lot attached to the front of the restaurant, otherwise it will be free street parking in the neighborhood behind. As mentioned, the menu is pretty large so it took me a minute to decide which dish I wanted to order. I ended up choosing the Eggs Alla Fisdale because Eggs Benedict is my favorite breakfast dish. This one is unique because they use a cheddar cheese sauce, which basically tasted like a cheesy hollandaise. It was honestly delicious and really made the meal. The eggs were cooked perfectly and I loved it. We also split a Banana Pudding for dessert and it was good but nothing special. We ordered some Caramel Lattes to begin our meal, and they were very tasty and strong. I would recommend them.Overall a delicious diner with fair pricing and free parking. I would recommend to anyone searching for a great breakfast option in the valley.Parking: small free parking lot in front“
“A good friend and I went to Cafe Vida last minute for lunch. I figured it must be good since there was a quite a few people. We ordered the chips and guacamole to start. So tasty. I had the chicken bowl which was amazing. Our waiter gave just the right attention and he service was outstanding. It was such a relaxed place and had a great vibe.“
“My matcha latte taste super good. I hope they stay the same over time. hopefully they don't downgrade in a long run like the other boba and tea place it was good in the beginning. Service was good Ambiance: since they're just started i know one day they will the settings and the decorations“
“FOOD/DRINK: They make such a great cortado coffee, would definitely get it again. Also had two vegetarian arepas - black bean and cheese, and mushroom chorizo. The latter was my favorite, but both were delicious! These came out on the quicker side (maybe 5 minutes?), though I know can take up to 20 to make from the other reviews. Tasted flavorful and fresh, and were a great portion size for breakfast or a mid-day snack. They have a decent-sized breakfast and lunch menu (along with some pastries), plenty of vegetarian options, and fruit juices that looked really refreshing. AMBIENCE: I really enjoyed the ambiance here. I went on a weekday, so it wasn't super crowded. There's a few 2-4 seater tables, a larger window-facing table with comfy chairs, a ledge for those who want to park with a laptop, and some outdoor sidewalk seating. More of a casual vibe, very bright and airy and open. On a corner. There is street parking (up to 1 hour directly in front, and up to 2 hours a few blocks down on Ocean). That's my one qualm, is that it'd be hard to spend more than 2 hours here due to the parking situation. SERVICE: So friendly and kind.“
“The best Poke I’ve ever had and the drinks served with were amazing! The staff are friendly and so sweet! I definitely recommend this spot, it’s cute and offers such a variety of options for drinks and the food options are all delicious!!“
“Love this location, A Brazilian skater named Felipe Gustavo owns this location, he has a bunch of skate boards hanging on the wall and typically has some skating events playing on the TV’s .Acai republic is a great place to get a delicious snack or meal. Love the bowls and their fresh squeezed Oj is also extremely recommended.“
“My mom and I just finished having lunch here, and the food and service were excellent. The food came out very quickly and with nice presentations. The salmon skin hand rolls came out crisp and fresh. The octopus sushi was sweet and tender. The popcorn scallop was fun to eat with a light airy tempura. The servers were very attentive, especially Sara! She made sure we had everything we needed.“
“Nice and cool looking coffee shop. I tried the Spanish latte, the blueberry smoothie, the smores cookie, and two banana chocolate chip muffins. It was soo good, I loved all of it.Location: It's on the 2nd floor across from the sushi place. Once you get to the top of the first part of the stairs, make a right, and the coffee shop is in there. The coffee shop has a sweet lady who is very excited to see people come in. It's located in a private spot due to the number of closed shops on the same floor, so definitely stop by here and support this sweet lady. She works on her own and she always has the biggest smile. You can tell she enjoys making the drinks and food. Also, it's a great place to get cooled off. It's got nice seating on the side of the coffee shop and a gorgeous mural you can see.Wheelchair accessibility: Sadly, it's not wheelchair accessible :(“
“Absolutely the most delicious, freshly made Mexican food . You cannot go wrong with anything in the menu . I love trying something new and I also have my favorites . Great flavors. I have hired them for catering as well for my daughter’s sweet 16 and my wedding . Highly recommend. Staff is amazing !“
“Sunright is one of the most consistent boba shops I've been too, regardless of location. I'm usually a simple milk tea person, so my favorite drink here is: Sunright Boba Milk Tea with 75% Sugar! Sometimes I get 50 if I feel like something more bitter. The taste of the tea is nice, and the brown sugar flavor is comforting without being overpowering. I love the texture of the boba here, a little softer with a brown sugar flavor. This place has lots of drinks to choose from, including milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and kids drinks. They have milk alternatives (almond, oat, and fresh milk), and you can also get honey as a healthier sweetener! A couple of my other favorites are the Oolong Milk Tea, Matcha Milk Tea, and Oreo Brulee Boba Milk. You can order online or the touch kiosk in store, and they're always on time! Can never go wrong here :)10/10“
“This is such a cute spot, I had my reservations, as I am a neighbourhood resident and I had heard not-so-great stuff, but upon going in for my first time, I was recommended a fantastic shake, and I also got a wrap. The boys, both working the counter and the back were the sweetest people, the service was fast, and the food was fantastic. Honestly, I can't give this place enough praises. 10/10“
“I absolutely love this juice bar! I found it by accident walking around the neighborhood and popped in for a smoothie. It was amazing. You can taste the freshness and quality ingredients. Everything is made with ripe fruit, fresh and organic ingredients. They even sold spotted bananas! This is my new juice place.“
“Just being totally honest here – the food is absolutely worth it! This place has a relaxed vibe when it comes to service and atmosphere. It's got this casual, neighborhood shop feel with a great selection of healthy options. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted by the delicious smell of their dishes. It's a treat for the senses!“
“Great spot to get juices, smoothies, and snacks. The employees are nice, it's clean and has a funky vibe. I'm going to try the juices the next time I'm In the area. If you're out for a walk this is a good place to get your snack.“
“Wow! I have to thank my friend for turning me on to Black Rabbit Cafe. This gem is located inside Abyss Market. I frequent this store after work, so the food cafe is closed when I come here. I was off of work today, and am I glad I ordered the BLAT. Bacon, lettuce, avocado, and tomato sandwich. It was THE best sandwich I've ever had. Perfect ratio! I'll be back to try more delicious food.“
“The unique flavors of paletas this business creates made my Central American heart happy! Cas, guanabana, frutas en yogur, rompope con pasas there is no flavor where you can go wrong. A great variety of flavors as well as menu items. We didn't try anything other than the paletas but will surely be returning.“
“Best fajitas around hands down. Carne asada tacos are great and so overfilled, we can make additional tacos. Staff is always nice and kind. It's a shame the place is not open on the weekends. If I'm craving, we have to wait until Monday.“
“This has become my favorite restaurant. If they were open for dinner too, I'd be here way more. Everything is gluten-free. There are no shady oils used. Their veggies and fruits are from local farmers markets. Their pancakes are off the chain. Their sourdough is delightful. Their cookies are heavenly. Their bowls are comforting and satiating and delicious. It's woman-owned. They make food with integrity here. Simple and with love. I wish all other restaurants would take pointers from Honey Hi. I only wish 1) they were open for dinner, and 2) they had more, bigger locations. Proud to support Honey Hi.“
“Literally some of the best service I've received during a late work lunch. Came in and Abraham explained anything I had questions on and recommended the best pina I've had in a long time. Overall, great food and great service, definitely coming back. The food wasn't super heavy, and was very flavorful. The number 5“
“If you enjoy good sugarcane juice, this place is a must-try. We placed a takeout order over the phone for a large group, and the person in charge attentively listened to our order, accommodating the changes we suggested. Despite getting stuck in traffic and arriving closer to closing time, the staff remained friendly and accommodating.“
“After reading the reviews, I somehow thought the juices were made to order, and was not thrilled when I was handed three small plastic bottles in exchange for $35. Had I overpaid for a Jamba Juice experience? Fortunately, despite the unpromising packaging, the juices themselves were outstanding, and tasted fresh. Mine was the apple ginger turmeric, and had I known how sublime it would be, I would have ordered two. Probably the best juices I've tried in LA, and I will be back soon.“
“The best pastrami in Los Angeles, and believe me, I keep trying to prove myself wrong. I must have eaten 50 Annie’s Reuben sandwiches in the last two years and the quality of food is consistently high! Hot/iced coffee also quite good! A local and personal favorite spot with warm service and very competitive “
“These smoothies are my favorite, and I would recommend this because it's really good before a good workout and after your workout, you'll feel really amazed with the quality of the smoothies and the help from the staff are really helpful, friendly, and such great customer service when you don't really know what to get, they will recommend the greatest smoothies if its your first time ordering from this place and its the best. This place is really organized and clean and seriously refreshing especially in this heat.“
“I came in for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up, ordering a refreshing fruit smoothie. The service was quick, and the staff was cheerful and attentive, ensuring my order was just the way I wanted it. The fruit smoothie was exceptional! It was bursting with flavor, and the freshness of the fruits was evident. It was a delightful and healthy treat that hit the spot perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of the smoothie. The quality and taste exceeded my expectations, and I felt like I got a real bargain for such a delicious and revitalizing drink. This juice bar is definitely a hidden gem.“
“Visited for the first time today and I was so impressed. Staff was hella nice. Drinks were delicious. Place was chill. I got the black sesame milk tea per staff rec. BOMB! Big thanks to him for being patient and introducing me to something new! Perhaps a new fav. Really appreciated the service and quality. We got 4 drinks for $21, which I felt was reasonable. Will def be back.“
“Great prices and options for juice, popsicles, smoothies, and more! I enjoyed their mangeonada. I am vegan and found so many great options for me. So glad it’s in the neighborhood.Dietary restrictions: Many juices, smoothies, and paletas are vegan by default. Can ask if you have any questions about items.“
“A great small cafe to study at/catchup with friends. The place has free wifi and plenty of seats for getting work done. The owner is friendly and accommodative to your needs. It gives off a nice homey vibe. I recommend trying the yogurt smoothies. It has a nice deep yogurt tart which complements the sweetness of the fruits very well. Overall it is an outstanding place to get work done.“
“Always have the most enjoyable interactions here with the staff since I started coming here in October of last year. I cant remember the girls name who has always helps me but she's is great and so was the gentleman who helped me today. . .So warm and helpful. The drinks are just delicious and the buffalo cauliflower doesn't disappoint as well. Every time I walk in it feels like fresh of breathe air, great vibes, makes me want to work here. So glad is walking distance from my job. 10/10“
