Airborne Roasting

The owner of Airborne is really nice and very passionate about his coffee. If you like dark roasted coffee and brew drip style or pour over then you may like this coffee.I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately I cannot recommend this coffee for any espresso based coffee drinkers who prefer to taste the subtle flavors of their coffee. This is for the Morning Buzz blend whole beans only. I ran across the Airborne Roasting stand at the Hayward farmers market, and asked about light roast beans. I was told they only have medium and dark, but the medium tastes pretty light. I asked if the beans were washed or natural, and she couldn't tell me, and wasn't even sure what that was. I should have taken that as a warning that these beans were not the same level as Devout Coffee roasters beans, which is what I usually...read full review
