“I come here all the time! It's such a great alternative to regular hot pot because you get to choose what ingredients you want :) highly recommend if you're super picky about what's in your soup. The staff are always super nice and greet you with a smile. I will note: most of the service is self-serve so you're expected to make your own sauces and get your own drinks. Overall, I love bringing friends and family here because everyone leaves full and happy”

“Very happy to have Simply Pasta close by! Love the concept and the execution. Simple and customizable, very generous portions, good value, and--most importantly--fresh and delicious food! This is not like some fast casual joint where you sacrifice quality for price. Ordered takeout: - Penne with meat sauce, sausage, chicken, broccoli, mushroom. - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. - Fettuccine Alfredo with sun dried tomatoes, olives. - Seafoods Galore: linguine with clams, scallops, shrimp in white wine, garlic, and butter sauce. - Pistachio cannolis. - Fruit tarts. All the pasta was nicely cooked, but not al dente, if that's your thing. Maybe they can do it upon request. The scallops and shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. Everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. Nothing was too salty, sweet, greasy, hard, soggy, or dry. Really can't fault anything about the food, which is pretty rare for any kind of restaurant! The desserts were excellent as well and not an afterthought money grab. I love food and consider myself pretty discerning. I'm really quite impressed by Simply Pasta and look forward to coming here a lot. It feels like they put a lot of thought and care into their products and business. I hope they never change and stick around for a long time!”

Chose the Cauli Slider with fries, heat level medium. The Asian spice level in me didn't taste anything spicy, a reason to order again but heat level hot next time. Husband enjoyed his medium and mild tender and slider. Cheese fries order was generously filled with cheese. Pic shown of the Single Cauli Tender, sliced on the side, thick cut cauliflower. “The portion on the mochiko chicken is crazy, more chicken than rice! It has a nice crust and the mochiko sauce has a little kick to it, but the taste of the chicken itself is pretty average. It's a very filling plate even for two meals. The loco moco is steaming hot, with delicious sauce on the rice. Beer range is good, from the double stack stout to cherry cider. The vibe outside is so comfy just for a lunch, only negative that there's only street parking.”

It's 'all you can eat style' hot pot, with selection of individual small pot or large shared pot.Lunch after the tax is around 22, and dinner is around 35 per person. There is another vegetarian option as well.Drinks are self served and unlimited.You can order 4 kinds of meet at the beginning. Vegetables, mushrooms, and other items are self-serving.Usually, there is no time limit, but do expect 1 hour limit during busy hours.Few tips. If you order the same kind of meat twice when placing an order, they usually bring you only one plate.The most classic combinations are spicy marrow and original marrow. The seven star pepper beef soup is the best but will cost an extra 8 dollars.”

The kale, tomato, and cucumber was drenched in such yummy sauce as well (idk what it was but it had a hint of sweetness which liked) and the star of the show, the CHICKEN. Absolutely glorious. The only thing have had that can realy compare it to is a perfect karage. It is so tender, juicy, and the perfect amount of crispy. The inside is well decorated with some good times playing along with two indoor seating areas. The vibes of the place were overall good and very enjoyable.The size of this meal is pretty hefty, it is $17 after all. It is so good though could eat up the whole thing myself but probably be on the verge of exploding at the end so would definitely recommend to share with a friend or you could save the rest for later. “This place is amazing, I ordered 5 XL pizzas over the phone and was so surprised everything was ready in just 10 minutes. I got chicken, BBQ, salami, and regular cheese, and everything was halal and super tasty. Pricing was very reasonable, which was surprising given the quality and speed of service. The also offer a size above XL, called 'King Kong' size pizza, which is 24". The ambiance inside the store was welcoming, making it a suitable spot for quick pickups or casual dining. The staff although they were very busy with sooo many customers they were still very welcoming and able to get us in and out, contributing to an overall decent dining experience that stands out for its value and speed.”

“This is a staple in Union City. Growing up in the area, this was one of the OG Chinese restaurants to dine in or take out. It's still here after all these years. I hadn't been for awhile, but as it turns out, the quality and taste is still the same. Some items are better than the other Chinese resto across the street at another plaza. The other place had become our default. But now that we've been back again, we will definitely be including HK resto back in our takeout rotation. Best dish there is there Peking Spare Ribs. Have been eating that dish since I was a kid and that recipe has not changed one bit. Thanks for keeping it consistent!”

Came out to be around $58-59 w/ tax. Put in the order 1 day prior to pick up with a scheduled time of 2:00pm. The Tray was ready and on time and still hot upon pick up! In regard to the Service, it was pretty straight forward. The Cashier spoke basic english but help out the best way he can. To others, it may come up as rude but I truly think it is mainly a bit of the Language barrier. Overall, Service was good and have been coming to this spot for many years! Would recommend coming to this restaurant if you are craving a satisfying Hawaiian bbq plate.”

Well, I haven't tried the pies (strawberry, blueberry crumble) yet, but I have tried the $4 chocolate chip cookie. It is on the pricy side to me, but the cookie is quite big. I ate it as a meal lol. It is not a fancy cookie by any means. Yet once you warm it, it has the melty, soft centered, and load of chocolate you need to feel indulgence. The interior is very small maybe sitting 6 or 7 different parties. I ordered the Adobo Chicken with Java Rice for takeout. The food was prepared in less than 20 minutes. The male cashier was very polite and quickly took care of me as I entered the restaurant. The food was very hot and delicious! He warned me to be careful not to spill the sauce. They accommodated my to go order by separating the chicken from the rice with some foil. I was very impressed with the flavor and scarfed most of the dish down quickly after receiving it. The price wasn't bad for the portion and quality of food! I will definitely come back to try some different dishes.”

No broth can compare. Some dude commented that the broth was off. No, Sir. Either Your tastebuds are or youre just used to mediocre broth profiles. Listen folks- i dont get paid for this but i will take the time to show some love to this Amazing pho house. Put it like this- I was born in the bay and I asked all my local vietnemese homies, maybe 17 years ago now, when my pho game was in its infancy, where to go other than their grandmas house for that quality bowl of pho and they said the Pho Pasteur. A combo with 2 sides and rice cost about $10.Lechon over rice is $11.Think of them like Filipino Panda Express where you can pick out your sides and have it with rice. There was plenty of seating inside, though one of the tables we took over was pretty gross and dirty with smears of melty ice cream on it. We took a bunch of the little napkins to wipe it down but it was still a sticky mess. Since there were only two people working and they had a long line, we didn't bother asking them to clean.Overall, I'm a fan of the ice cream, so I don't have too much to complain about.”

Vegetables, mushrooms, and other items are self-serving.Usually, there is no time limit, but do expect 1 hour limit during busy hours.Few tips. If you order the same kind of meat twice when placing an order, they usually bring you only one plate.The most classic combinations are spicy marrow and original marrow. The seven star pepper beef soup is the best but will cost an extra 8 dollars.”

The vibe outside is so comfy just for a lunch, only negative that there's only street parking.”

This is not like some fast casual joint where you sacrifice quality for price. Ordered takeout: - Penne with meat sauce, sausage, chicken, broccoli, mushroom. - Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. - Fettuccine Alfredo with sun dried tomatoes, olives. - Seafoods Galore: linguine with clams, scallops, shrimp in white wine, garlic, and butter sauce. - Pistachio cannolis. - Fruit tarts. All the pasta was nicely cooked, but not al dente, if that's your thing. Maybe they can do it upon request. The scallops and shrimp were tender and perfectly cooked. Everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. Nothing was too salty, sweet, greasy, hard, soggy, or dry. Really can't fault anything about the food, which is pretty rare for any kind of restaurant! The desserts were excellent as well and not an afterthought money grab. I love food and consider myself pretty discerning. I'm really quite impressed by Simply Pasta and look forward to coming here a lot. It was a great experience. The manager even came by our table and talked to us for a bit. I explained how I used to frequent the one on the Peninsula for many years until it suddenly shut its doors for good. We had 4 flavors of wings: lemon pepper, garlic honey, Asian zing and mango habanero. Mango habanero was my favorite as I love spice and it was spicy and sweet. I put in a to-go order just for that fslvor alone. The service was amazing, the restaurant and restrooms were clean. I would 100% return.”

“Small Group of hungry girls & we were Craving Chinese food. We wanted something close by & wanted to stop by another cafe in the area. Located in the Asian market complex, tucked away in the corner, near the Daiso. Lots of parking but always difficult to park in this shopping center. We ordered quite a few dishes with leftovers. Appetizers fried wontons, chicken. Mains- beef broccoli, shrimp & eggs, Chow mein, chicken fried rice. Food was good, hit the craving. Spent about $115 for 4 people. 2 sodas”
