“Convenient location with good food and friendly attentive staff. Clean restaurant that felt comfortable and family friendly. We tried this location midweek for an early lunch and we were happy we did. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and took us to a booth which is my favorite. We ordered and had our drinks and food come out perfectly timed. Cold drinks included an Oreo milkshake which was so good my teenager was hesitant to share. Also ordered eggs Benedict and steak and eggs, all of which came out hot and tasty. Portions are just right so we left full with some leftovers. We'll be back soon. Thank you to the wonderful staff!“
“I am supprised that my daughter loved this place. Everytime, I ask her what do you want to eat, " In and Out ". After this place, we have 2nd choice. Service is fast. People are friendly. Sure the dining area is not great - this is not a lavish place with amazing ambience. It's more of a people's play - you get some really good, cheap and authentic bagels here. Not everything that glitters is gold and the vice versa is very true for this place.“
“(Translated by Google) Very rich pupusas. I always eat at the place right away and today I decided to try the pupusas and I loved them. Very good flavor.. I recommend them ?(Original)Muy ricas pupusas. Siempre como en el lugar de enseguida y hoy desidi probarlas pupusas y me encantaron. Muy buen sabor..las recomiendo ?“
“MAR2024Great food still, tried ther burger, outstanding!!!!JAN2024Outstanding and very reasonably priced!!!My fish and chips were perfect, fries perfectly extra crispy as I ordered. Large portion of perfectly cooked fish with great flavor. My wife's Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich was good, but here salad was excellent.I wanted to have a shake, but I was so full that I was very smart to not order the chocolate shake.Parking was easy with a very large parking lot.Great service and friendly. We are going back!!!Dietary restrictions: They will make your meal as you request.“
“Firstly, it's the best brunch spot in Fremont area! They have such a good brunch menu and their skillet potatoes and smoothies is to die for. The outdoor is small but dog friendly. The indoor is kinda cute.- please go well in advance on weekends if u want a table. It's mad crowded and the wait time gets insanely longer.- take photos! They are so yelp and insta worthy!- order their smoothie only if u can be sure of completing it else find a partner to share.I really wish they have a better system for wait and reservation. This whole let the restaurant look crowded and busy is so old school in my perspective. If they enable tools for waiting that's it! It's going to be so good! Else be prepared to wsitKid-friendliness: The place has enough on the menu but provided the kids can wait“
“I walked in here shortly after they opened on a weekday and was warmly greeted by the staff in Mandarin. I honestly felt like I was transported to a breakfast cafe in Taiwan - love it! We ordered breakfast to go: Taro veggie sung sando ($8.75) Cheese crepe ($8) Signature sando ($5.5) Soy milk black tea ($4.50; got a $0.50 discount for ordering with a meal) The taro veggie sung was packed between slices of soft bread with the crusts cut off. I've had veggie sung before, but not with taro paste, so it was a nice combo of savory and sweet. I did wish it had a little bit more flavor, but overall, not bad. The cheese crepe is not your traditional French crepe. It's a Taiwanese-style crepe and is clearly indicated on the menu as such. All the crepes come filled with egg and green onion as a base. It's savory and came with a sauce to douse over it. I added some hot spot and it was delicious! Reminded me of breakfasts my mom would prepare for me as a kid. Signature sandwich comes with cucumber, ham, egg, and a pork patty. My boyfriend inhaled it and although he seemed to think it's nothing special, it's a quick and filling meal. I ordered the soy milk black tea without any sugar, and although I appreciated that I was able to do so, the ratio of tea to soy milk tasted off. It was more black tea than soy milk, so in hindsight, I should have just stuck to plain soy milk. Regardless, would definitely come back if I was in the area and wanted a quick bite!“
“Love this place! We've enjoyed brunch and dinner here. The chicken and waffles are pretty good as are the chilaquiles. But the true gem is the torra Jalisco! It's hands down my favorite dish on the menu! I have ordered it every time I've been back since the first time I tried it. It's super rich and I've never been able to finish it, but it's worth every greasy calorie!“
“Great breakfast place. Get the Breakfast Special. A great deal! High quality ingredients. - 2 eggs anyway you like, one pancake or one slice of French toast with whipped butter and warm maple syrup, pick your meat 2 thick cut bacon strips or 3 sausage links for under $10.Service was friendly and attentive. Tables are spread far enough that you are not sitting on top of each other. In terms of Downtown Castro Valley, JP’s is a great family restaurant with tasty comfort food at reasonable prices. You won’t be hungry after finishing your meal.Parking: Flat, large free parking lot outside of restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: Disability parking in front of the restaurant. Plenty of spacing between the tables for folks with mobility issues to wheel or use a walker easily.“
“The food is good and the service is pretty fast. You have to order food and then the food is brought out to you. We tried the kalua pork hash, ube latte and mochiko chicken and pandan waffle. The food was very tasty. The mochiko chicken was perfectly crispy and the waffle has a great pandan flavor as well. We were not a huge fan of the ube latte, you can't really taste the ube.“
“I recommend having a reservation, the cafe gets very busy. Food was good. However I ordered the cowboy skillet and once it got out to the table it was cold. I was expecting my order to come out on an actual skillet that would allow the food to be steaming hot. I also ordered a Belgian waffle with nutella, whip cream, & strawberries, I wanted peanut butter they didnt have any. Fish bowl Guava mimosa was good!“
“This is one of the best breakfast/brunch places in the city of Dublin, and it's been a mainstay for locals for quite a long time. They have a more or less traditional and predictable menu, but that isn't meant as a negative critique. This restaurant has all of the comfy, homely, and welcoming quirks of a traditional American breakfast diner, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The coffee is better than average, and their omelette are very well made. They also do chicken fried steak in a literal skillet and serve it that way, hence the name. If you're looking to get your fill of some classic breakfast Americana and you're in the Dublin area, look no further.“
“They always have great food and friendly staff. They also helped me in a pinch with a pretty big catering order. They had the whole order ready for me right when I walked in and even offered to help me carry it out to my car! Will be coming back many times.“
“Randomly found this unassuming place in a shopping center. Everything we've tried has been outstanding, and they'll do a half order of most things so you can try even more. Service was great and the wait went faster than they said. Shout out to Andrew, it was like he could read my mind. I'll definitely be coming back.Kid-friendliness: Separate kids menu and they'll do half orders of anything“
“I eat at Pelton Cafe often with friends and family. The staff are always very friendly. Super accommodating. The restaurant is clean. Some mornings there's a line and you have to sign in on a piece of paper. Never had to wait too long. They're great at refilling your coffee.“
“I ordered the most amazing Pesto Veggie Benedict. It was outstanding! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was the size of a salad plate... way too much for one person to eat. I'll definitely order the Benedict again, but he won't order the steak. We weren't impressed with their choice of music. Thus, they only get 2 stars for atmosphere.“
“We love Norman's and go with the whole family. Large variety good quality old style, (like me) and decent prices. Treat our grand kids special, they really love it..It is comforting to know they still have places like Norman's. And the waite staff is terrific! I wish I knew all their names, but like I said.. I'm old.. Anyway Enjoy!“
“I was excited to find this place. The food was delicious, wait staff was friendly and I could tell from the energy of customers that came in that the place is a favorite for others.I had the egg scramble with the olives, hashbrowns and ordered a side of bacon. The bacon was crispy, just like I requested.“
“Go-to spot for lunch in Hayward! I work close by and Bay City Bistro is my go-to spot for lunch. Great diversity of menu items (sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, bowls... they're always changing it up with new specials too to keep things interesting), super friendly staff, fast service, and consistently good quality keep me coming back every week. Check it out if you're in the area!“
“Great little breakfast place! I had the combination plate and it was VERY filling! Eggs were cooked in a skillet, country potatoes were very tasty, ham and sausage were delicious and the bacon wasn't the thin microwave bacon that everyone seems to be going to nowadays, it was so good! I found I had to focus to finish off the biscuits and gravy because I was already so full!“
“Winston Churchill apparently once said something along the lines that Russia was a "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma." That's kind of what I feel about this restaurant. Why does it serve a mixture of Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Mexican, and Korean fast food? Why is it built into the side of a Home Depot? Why are there motivational gym-style quotations and writings on the wall? Perhaps I will never know the answer to these mysteries, but nevertheless, I greatly enjoy eating here and will continue to do so.To quickly state it, yeah, it's a restaurant built into the side of a Home Depot, but there's roofing and seating (and fake grass as a floor?), which are basically perfectly functional at all times. The slightly open nature of the area actually means it doesn't get too hot - so it actually works pretty well as a restaurant. The food selection is as I mentioned, quite varied. I've had the Loco Moco, Bulgogi, Hot Dog, and Philly Cheesesteak. All of them came out very quickly, cheaply (very rare in the Bay Area!!) and were as tasty as you would expect all of these foods to be. On the other hand, you're pretty much getting what you order - no surprises (and you wouldn't really expect a surprise). Macaroni from the Hawaiian plates always goes great with the rice - and the portion sizes for any of the plates are quite large!Seems very popular among people working at or around Home Depot for their breakfast and lunch - and I can understand why! Cheap, fast, convenient, and tasty! I honestly haven't eaten like this very often since moving up from Southern California - and it's delightful that I can eat like this again. Heavily recommended if you want a cheap, fast lunch in a place that generally doesn't have many cheap, fast lunch options.“
“Win Win Win ! ! Best Eggs. Benedict in the East Bay, hands-down, .. conclusion after visiting eight other restaurants for Eggs Benedict in the East Bay... best homemade hollandaise sauce made from scratch with fabulous color and taste texture, fresh lemon juice!! No mixes doctored up here very authentic I'm happy I listen to the positive yelps on their eggs Benedict,.. each time I have a different version sometime with spinach and fresh mushrooms perfectly poached eggs perfectly!! sometimes Canadian bacon sometimes just bacon. All of their meat. Portions are fabulous and delicious. Just go there and try the eggs Benedict you'll come back for sure. All my guests are thrilled when they go there. most of us crave the hollandaise sauce and sometimes we'll just go and get a carry out to take home of nothing but the hollandaise!! Also, the fresh fruit is cut that comes in. It doesn't get any fresher. I have them cut a bunch of fruit to take home. Excellent can't say enough service is wonderful. They go out of their way to make you feel like you're family. When I'm ready to leave.. always so thoroughly satisfied, I lean into the kitchen area to tell the guys what a fabulous job they did on the Benedict!! They're very appreciative. With regards to the ambience I'm used to old diners so to me this is just another old-fashioned diner and I believe has been in that location for at least 30 years. Same employees. The most frustrating part is they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I go there for the incredible cravings I have when they're closed on Monday and Tuesday they just brings me back on Wednesday!! I refer, guests Often they are thrilled with the eggs Benedict. I can't really speak to anything else on their menu because I can't seem to get beyond the Benedict but I'm told that they're waffles and omelettes are delicious. Just have them make the way that you want them. You'll be totally satisfied. Also ask for the hashbrowns to be well done and try that fresh fruit“
“This place was recommended by a friend. They have a relaxed dining atmosphere with extra perks (salsa and chips bar and cold beverage bar). Or they do pickup and to go orders. I had the James omelette special which was very tasty. With large portion sizes it could have easily fed two...but I'm a big guy so I gladly ate it all. They also have numerous pastries that looked very good. But with no room left I'll have to save those for the next time. The staff are also professional and very polite.“
“Absolutely delicious food. Space is a bit small and cramped but I’m not gonna hold that against them the food is what matters I had the turkey melt & it was the best thing ever!! Crispy bacon fresh avocado! Delightful! Highly recommend!“
“Easter morning away from home, enjoyable experience. Shorter wait than expected, and server was available immediately! Food came quickly and was cooked just as we like it... without any additional instructions. We had omelettes. They were cooked just right, not dry at all!“
“I recently tried Break Your Gast cafe in Union City, California, and I'm thrilled to share my positive experience. I opted for the Korean BBQ bowl to go, which was a delightful mix of rice, lettuce, sautéed mushrooms, and chicken coated in a flavorful teriyaki sauce. What impressed me even more was that on December 25th, they were open, adding an extra layer of convenience and warmth to my dining experience. Grateful for the delicious food and the accommodating service – definitely a spot worth visiting!“
