“Maya's Cookies in San Marcos is a nice find in the vibrant new area. As someone who enjoys exploring new shops and restaurants, stumbling upon Maya's Cookies was a nice surprise. My first visit left me impressed with the overall experience.Customer service played a significant role in enhancing my visit. The server was not only friendly but also highly knowledgeable about the cookies and the shop itself. She patiently answered all my questions, providing an abundance of insightful information that added to the enjoyment of the experience. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the cookies. As someone who was initially unsure about what to expect from vegan cookies, Maya's Cookies exceeded my expectations. I sampled the S'mores and Wheat-free Coconut Chocolate Chip, and both were a treat for the taste buds. The S'mores cookie was soft and indulgent, with a generous dollop of marshmallow nestled in the center. While it boasted plenty of chocolate chips, I couldn't help but notice a slight absence of the distinct graham cracker flavor that typically accompanies S'mores. Nevertheless, it was a delightful treat. The Wheat-free Coconut Chocolate Chip cookie, on the other hand, was an absolute delight. It was impressively large and offered a perfect balance of sweetness, coconut flakes, and rich chocolate chips. The fact that it was wheat-free added to its appeal, making it an inclusive option for those with dietary restrictions. One aspect that particularly caught my attention was the Happy Hour offer on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4-5 pm. This intriguing promotion piqued my curiosity, and I couldn't resist the temptation to return and experience it firsthand. I'm eager to discover how many customers flock to Maya's Cookies during that single hour of discounted bliss. In conclusion, Maya's Cookies is a must-visit destination for cookie enthusiasts in San Marcos. With exceptional customer service, delicious vegan treats, and enticing promotions like Happy Hour, it's a place that warrants repeat visits. I, for one, am eagerly looking forward to indulging in more of Maya's delightful creations.“
“Came across this place on our way to the sandiego zoo! Such a welcoming environment, we got two croissants and they were so yummy!!! The jalapeños ham and cheese was full with fresh peppers and a bunch of ham and cheese. The croissant itself was super fresh and buttery. The concept of the store is also super fun you get to choose what you want and the gentleman heated our croissants and packaged them Togo for us! Definitely coming back!!“
“Every time I come to this Crumbl I'm in and out in no time. It's really weird to me that they still don't have a GIANT sign with an arrow instructing first time visitors to go to the "Great Wall of Tablets" to place their order, because it's always confusing standing there at first waiting to order wondering why none of the employees are acknowledging your existence, but I did have one female employee who went out of her way to help me customize the box for my clients and I really appreciated it. The cookies are ALWAYS amazing, and while they are a bit pricy I would say you get what you pay for. They always nail it with their monthly specials, and grabbing a 6-pack with one of each will always make you a hit at any party. I grabbed a 4-pack for a meet-and-greet with clients that got me invited to their monthly regional meeting for a sales pitch. Overall highly recommend!“
“Tried this for the first time because of Too Good to Go. I got two meat pies, one steak and mushroom and the other chicken curry. I just finished the chicken curry one and it was amazing! The pie is so flaky and flavorful. I'd never tried a meat pie before and honestly am blown away. It tastes fresh, delicious, and full of love! (That might be cheesy) seriously though, am going to go back because of how delicious that pie was. The price is well worth the pie.“
“I always buy the Birthday Cake flavour - OMG! So good! I have also had the Red Velvet, Banana Nut, and Chocolate Cake, which all were out of this world but Birthday Cake is my fave! These little cake squares are so moist and flavourful that you can't even tell you just bought a gas station cake square! They taste homemade and straight out of the oven. LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM!!“
“I’ve never been obsessed with a coffee place before. Never had a spot that I ravenously looked forward to returning. They were always “nice” and useful, maybe.James is killing me nicely. The ham and cheese bear claw I had today, warmed, killed me.The cinnamon honey latte and the condensed milk and nutmeg latte have been divine. I’m so so utterly pleased and satisfied that they use whole milk. The foam and foam art from the baristas has been so good and so long lasting. Not too sweet, but also sweet enough, really nice.I’ve also tried a chocolate croissant and was again, utterly pleased. Please live forever. I love it here.I have zero doubts that the quality of everything, which I will slowly make my way through, will be to just as high a standard. The chocolate chip cookie looks expensive but exactly the right texture.“
“We used Cute Cakes as part of our contracted vendors for our wedding at the Carlsbad Windmill. We are so happy we used them! Cute Cakes was communicative from the very beginning about our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend!“
“I don’t know why, but my drip coffee tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the pot for a whole week, all I could taste was a weird plastic smell. Couldn’t even drink it unfortunately. My husband got a cold brew and it was a bit better. The breakfast egg sandwich was OK. Deli meat was just not the freshest and the avocado wasn’t real avo... It was just packed guacamole, very sour. I would love to go back because it’s close to us. But I don’t think we will. after the first experience“
“Ok, first time here. Have a vacation home in VC and have been looking for great pizza close to the house. Found it:) The pizza is so much better than anything in VC and most of Escondido. I 100% recommend Pahua's Bakery & Pizza. The dough to make the pizza may be the sweet bread dough that they use for the pastry's (per previous review) but who cares it is so good and pizza is a "treat" not something you eat on a regular. I suggest calling in so you don't have to wait. The bakery section looked really good but didn't try anything this time but there is always tomorrow!BTW, the young man who took my order and was at the counter when I picked up the pizza was super sweet. Thank you!“
