“Excellent food. I was the only customer in the place not of Middle Eastern descent. For me, thats an excellent sign that the food is very good.I got the combo with chicken, beef, and kafta kabobs. All were very good. Tender meat that tastes fresh. Cooked just right. Chicken and beef were very juicy. Beef was not fatty. The hummus was a little heavy on the tahini flavor for me.I've been here several times through the years and I've never been disappointed.Storefront place with indoor seating only.Parking lot is pretty small, so I can see parking being difficult during busy times of day.“
“I've been coming here since 1992 or earlier. This is one of my best childhood memories. I remember when the owner had all the autographed pictures of famous people in the walls. I remember he' always said his mother makes the best and has the best recipes, top secret! If you want falafel this is the best. At 44 years old I am still trying to figure out his hot sauce. I crave it. But I'm in Orange County. If I ever go to LA I go there. My wish would be for him to open up in Orange County :)“
“This is by far the best best best beef lule kebab. Extremely tender. I'm very picky when it comes to kebabs this place scored big with me. Parking is easy to find and call and order before you go it takes a while because they make it upon order. Fresh fresh fresh. With a big A on the door.“
“I can't believe these guys are doing business as a same price as three years ago I was here. I order my favorite dish Salmon kebab plate wooooow so delicious. Even they add two side for free Shirazi salad and Hammus. The cashier Araz was very helpful to choose best dish for my friend who decided to get La Vie special ( beef and chicken). Such an amazing service and clean restaurant. Good job to owner of La Vie Bistro. Definitely recommended to try if you are in North Hollywood area“
“Today, Feb 8th I got in at the afternoon and was starving after a long day of work. The guys were super cool, I ordered a chicken shawarma kebabs wrap and asked for extra meat and extra saucy. Sandwich was huge and wrapped tightly halfway in aluminum foil which I like, packed with meat, very saucy fresh and flavorful. Amazing people and vibe, I love shewarma and will come back next time I’m around.“
“I will give a 5 star review but owner has kick out one woman from his restaurant. She comes on Saturday. Her name is Zina. This woman does not how to behave normally and swears at the entire restaurant. I can't even call her a woman. Restaurant small and cute. Good food and music.“
“First of all I'd like to start with, I am a huge fan. Looks like a family owned business, small and cozy just the way I like it. You could smell the charcoal as soon as you exit your vehicle. I ordered the beef shish kabob plate and the grilled eggplant salad as a side. I have had kabob so many times in my life, at some point you can't really tell if it's Persian, Lebanese, Armenian because the flavors are pretty similar. Here, there was no confusion or questions. The flavors of Armenian cuisine are very pronounced. I loved it. The beef shish was juicy, flavorful, cooked to perfection. It didn't have any beef smell or aftertaste. I have to be very careful where I eat and 99% of the time I have kabob taste in my mouth for hours. Not after eating here. Even left overs microwaved next day tasted great. The portions are perfect and so is the price. They even had home made lecho. (If you know, you know). Everything was perfect and I can go on and on. Definitely recommend and definitely will be coming back.“
