“A couple of weeks ago I stopped by on a Saturday. Met the owner Kevyn and a couple of employees. Super friendly and helpful. And Kevyn's enthusiasm is a joy to be around! The decor is fun, all New Orleans and they carry a few treats from Louisiana too, like traditional pralines and Zapp's New Orleans kettle style potato chips in several flavors. Now onto the Son Balls. They've got sooooo many flavors and they're all created in-house. I tried a number of them and they were all delicious: mango, guava, passion fruit, Pina colada, li hing mui, and watermelon. Next time I'm going to try wedding cake, mojito, creamsicle, candy apple... and maybe dill pickle. :) Anyway, highly recommend. THIS is a small business we need to support! Great local owner with wonderful energy and a terrific product!“

“Banger Gelato/ice cream spot. I loved the unique flavors, the cashier serving us was gracious enough to let us try a bunch of flavors, and although there is limited seating inside, the outdoor seats are a vibe. I opted for the Ube Mochi flavor and the pistachio. The ube was very flavorful, and I did enjoy the mochi bits. For mochi being in a cold dessert, it was surprisingly still really soft! classic flavor, but I've never seen it be done gelato style so this was good! The pistachio is classic and it was just so delicious. Pistachio can be hit or miss for me but this place is definitely a hit. I'll for sure be back!“

“My husband and I love this little gelato shop so much! The owners pour so much love into their business and delicious rotating menu of flavors (and they are probably the ones you’ve met if you stopped by). As someone with celiac disease, I also can’t believe everything is homemade and gluten free (and their waffle cones are objectively delicious). Our nephews and niece are big fans as well, and they even had sprinkles for the kiddos.Dietary restrictions: Everything is gluten free, and lots of dairy free options as well.“

“This place has some seriously legit ice cream. It has the texture of soft serve but all the punch of real top notch ice cream. It's smooth, creamy, and very flavorful. I absolute loved the Rice Krispie and fruity pebbles cones--they add the perfect extra punch and crunch to the ice cream. The store is quite small, but the line moves quickly and there is some seating outside. You can get a regular cone, a cup, or a Rice Krispie, fruity pebbles, or cocoa pebbles cone. They also serve a caramelized waffle you can use to scoop your ice cream if you like. Overall I really, really enjoyed this spot. It's some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time. Definitely recommend this while in Los Angeles--it's even worth a drive across the city.“

“Food: I got to try their sweet Crispy Crepe/ Khanom Bueang. They look like Thai Tacos to me. Absolutely a perfect snack to munch on if you're craving something light. Its crunchy, thin and a little sweet and salty at the same time. 6$ for 6 pieces. If you check in on yelp, you'll get 1 for free! Service : Amazing. Quick and friendly. “Great spot ! I was greeted with a few samples and a warm welcome as soon as I walked in. I ended up going with the mango strawberry soft serve which is dairy free and delicious. I got the shortcake version which Coke with condensed milk, berry crumble and strawberries. I would like to come back and try their mini pancake plates. They have lots of seating inside and a fridge with some drinks. The size I got was small and it was $8.50“

“A gem in Little Tokyo! One of my favorite places for matcha, and my top pick is the soft serve ?? The owners' attention is very friendly. The entire staff is attentive and always greets you with a smile. The space is quite small, and every time I've visited, it's always crowded. If you want to try something authentic, warm, and delicious, I recommend this place. ✨“

“This ice cream is delicious! I had the mango sticky rice and it literally tasted like a mango sticky rice, just without the texture of the rice. I loved it. The people I was with also loved the black sesame, marshmallow and ube. Even the cones were delicious.“

“I love Bacio! The ambiance is spectacular in all of their shops. The gelato is probably the best gelato I've ever tried and I think it's because they use really good ingredients and the quality control is spot on. The service is always amazing and you can tell all of the employees really love working their because they are very warm and genuine. I can't wait for them to open more locations!!!“

“Finally got the chance to try this dessert place after always passing by. I got the pure milk soft serve and 3 pieces of taiyaki in custard and red bean. The soft serve is a nice texture and it's very soft. The milk is a bit too sweet, in my opinion. And you can self serve on several toppings for the soft serve. The taiyaki is very good, just wish that it is a bit more crispy. They give a generous amount of filling inside the taiyaki. Inside is a small place. They only have a bench and a couple of stools. Overall, a great dessert place!“

“Ken’s, is the best ice cream in the world! I think the loving attitude used to scoop it up, makes it extremely special! My grandkids started my journey with Ken’s, years ago. My oldest grandson is now 25 and the baby is 16. Whenever there is ice cream wanted in my house and they are around, it’s a trip to Ken’s! Watching it pass from one generation to another, has been a great thing for our community! One trip to Ken’s and you are hooked for life! I love the ice cream, and the beautiful spirit, of the people scooping it up! Nadine Gills-Ward, a loyal customer“

“Omggg best ice cream place EVER! First of all, we stumbled upon this place by chance because the initial place we wanted to go to was closed. They serve vegan options here too so we HAD to come. The worker was such a great sport. She was so nice allowing us to sample all of the flavors we wanted. I ended up with the Peached & Cream (seasonal) and the Marionberry Cheesecake. *chefs kiss* both were phenomenal. Finished both of my scoops. Ugh i miss it already. all of the other flavors my friends got were delicious as well: Planet Earth (Vegan), Banana Pudding, and Pralines just to name a few :) MUST GO!“

“Ordered to go. We ordered #5 mazapam funnel cake and horchata cold brew. This spot had three tables. Had amazing reviews so I had to try it out. There are TONS of combinations here. Anything to fulfill your sweet tooth! Theme is obviously weed/hip hop vibes inside. It's a cool Spin. Came on a sat at 530 and it was busy. People coming and going quick. Parking is very tight with 4 other businesses in the same lot. My mazapam funnel cake was so freaking amazing!! Mmmmm loved every bit of it!“

The drink omg the drink was made with their homemade vanilla syrup and the chai was just amazing. “Very good gelato and frozen yogurt. Somewhat exotic flavors for the US market but still very tasty. They are famous for their pistachio ice cream but I am a big fan of their Belgian Chocolate. They also sell waffles and cookies. There is limited seating but you can enjoy your ice cream at one of the “stand only” tables. Parking will be a challenge since this is a very busy street. Make sure you read all posted signs.Vegetarian options: Difficult to get good vegetarian ice creamDietary restrictions: Lots of different types of nuts being used. Be careful what you orderParking: Busy street. Can get a bit trickyKid-friendliness: Kids love this placeWheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair friendly place“

“Nice little spot for those who want that homemade "Ice Cream Truck/Thrifty" sensation. The young man who takes the orders is polite and very efficient. Some friends of mine talked me into giving the location a try. You have so much to choose from. I guess that why the menu can now be pulled up by QR Code. I purchased two 8oz size of chili. A kid size of praline and pecan ice cream and a size bigger of pistachio for the hubby. When I received the bag with the cups of ice cream, they seem a bit small. My pralines was more like a tease due to the kid size. When it said "kid size" that's exactly what it means. The ice cream was good so my advice, go with a pint. The chilli was okay. It taste more like that brick chilli. Very salty and not all that thick. The menu states that crackers for the chili are ten cents each but I figure that must be the fee for extra because they are generous enough to put some in your bag to go along with the chilli. My advice, get it along with some rice to help dilute the saltiness of the chilli. Would I go back? Yes if I wasn't trying to watch my health. If I wasn't as old as I am. Would it hit the spot for a younger crowd? Yes!!! It would!!!“

“Love that this ice cream shop carries such a variety of unique international flavors. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. Uber crunch is absolute perfection: natural tasting ube flavor, not too sweet/sugary (for reference, I find Häagen-Dazs to be just slightly too sweet), and the crunch balances the creamy texture very well. Also highly recommend the passion fruit cacao. Japanese neopolitan is interesting, but the flavors aren't my favorite - try if curious or love matcha/Sakura/Hokkaido milk flavors. Would 100% revisit!“

“You'll miss this place if you're not looking for it. It's a little gem hidden in a big street. They have a fun menu with interesting items like their "j latti" which is shaved ice with soft serve ice cream; it's great. They also have traditional stuff like sundaes, banana splits, and even milkshakes. It's family owned and the owners are cordial. Prices are reasonable and portions are great. My only gripe is that it's a little bit run down and there are only a few benches outside which aren't very well kept. It's still cozy enough especially in the evening.“

“Ice cream + donuts is always a hit! Service here is always fast and friendly! I love their Paramoreo donut with Paramoreo ice cream! (Think Cookie Monster Oreo ice cream) My only complaint is that they don't have as much donut options as their sister shop, Donut Friend. Parking can be kind of tricky as it does get busy on sunset and it's street parking only.“
“Just a lil ice cream shop in Larchmont village with some unique flavors to choose from- not the classic ones you'd see somewhere common like at Thrifty or Cold Stone. I tried the gooey butter cake and coffee with cream and sugar and it was SOOOO GOOD! Personally it is a bit TOO SWEET, however the flavors were definitely appetizing. I would come back! Just wish it'd be less sweeter (and I have MAJOR sweet tooth).“
