“First time here. The place looks busy on a Sunday late morning. I had the Ultimate Omelette with Bacon, Sausage, Ham with Mushrooms, Onions and Cheddar Cheese, Hash Brown, Biscuits and Gravy. My wife had the Hotcakes Combo with 2 Pancakes, 2 Eggs over easy, 2 Bacon Strips. Food was good. Bacon was a bit cold and not crunchy. Hash browns needs to be a bit more crunchy too. Large servings. Service was excellent with Kerry our waitress. Atmosphere was great. Gotta come back and try their lunch menu.“

“Been there a couple of times now that they are open on Friday nights. Chicken fried steak was very good. Gravy on the steak and mash potatoes was outstanding. Second trip served up prime rib, which was very good. Kristin (part owner) waited on us and her service was great. She welcomed us and chatted. This is good old country comfort food.“

Teaspoon Tea • $

“Service was quick. They offer first 2 orders $3 off when you sign up on their app. Regular drinks (such as signature boba milk tea) are around $6-7 dollars, so with the $3 off, the drinks are at good price. We ordered a signature milk tea and added honey boba, 10% sugar and no ice. It was a decent drink. Boba was chewy, though the tea, I prefer stronger tea. The environment is clean. Good place to hang out with friends.“

Four Creeks Coffee & Tea Cafe • $

“It's a coffee shop by definition. It seems like the shop is affiliated with Visalia Unified School District. They serve Mavericks Coffee, another shop in the area. Okay coffee, but nothing aficionados would go crazy over. The coffee was similar to what you would get at McDonalds.“

“Just had a wonderful experience with Panera in Visalia! The cashier Jenny has a great attitude and very friendly. “I truly love this local small shop. The staff is super friendly and they carry tons of high quality organic foods and supplements and are always open to highlighting local products when possible.I grow a large portion of what I consume but this is definitely a favorite location of mine to pickup those select items I can’t easily produce myself.“

“The best Panini's I've ever tasted at a good price. A little hot sauce and by far my new favorite place. Ditch Panera Bread! Power plugs on the walls, more private feeling with small separating walls all around than Panera without the crowded feel, better prices , a great bakery and a rewards club! Pretty sure they wouldn't even mind a few study groups but might wanna check first.Kid-friendliness: Kids were friendly but one tried hitting me. Otherwise polite, friendly children.“

Big Kahuena Cafe • $$
1111 N Cherry St, Tulare

“I've always had a great experience in the store. I've always found it to be clean, very well decorated and the staff are helpful and friendly. They have lots of items at so so prices and some are fairly reasonable compared to any other supermarket in town. What sets them apart is there meat department, bakery, Agua Fresca/juice station, and their choices of sauces. There's something here for anyone. Their hot food station is where you can get any thing from rice, beans, chicken and all kinds of different meats and goodies. And they even have tamales made fresh. Tons of fresh tortillas throughout the store.... Yum!!!!I love a good Tres Leche cake but the one in the cup with the strawberry and the whip cream is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Compared to most of your stores who have been out of things they have bleach, all kinds of toiletries and essentials. Large & wide isles where you're not congested. What can I say it is better than your Walmart, Smart and final, RN market has now closed, so come here!!!!“

“I've driven by Salles many times and thought "I should try that place. They always look busy." Well I finally did and can see why. It's a diner. Usual fare. Menu has the classic diner breakfast menu with an added Portuguese twist. But what isn't as common is how clean it is. Bright, clean and open is what you see when you walk in. And a huge throwback to classic diner ambiance, the service is fantastic. Very friendly, attentive staff that keeps checking in on you. Not common these days, and very much appreciated. Food was good. Didn't get anything out of the ordinary, but did get my potatoes Portuguese style, which is a garlicky onion and tomato sauce. Was not a huge fan of the breakfast gravy, had a little too much flour taste to me. But I see why they're busy, and I'll be back too.“

“I only come to Panera for the broccoli cheddar soup because it is delicious! When I came, my friend and I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup. The wait for our order was extremely fast. Less than 5x minutes. They called my name an ended up telling me my friend got the last of the broccoli soup, and very politely asked if there was anything else I’d like to switch it with. I explained i really don’t like anything else, and a nice lady named Amanda ask if i wanted a refund and i said yes please. She went to do it asap, but my friend gave me her soup and she got the exchange from my order. Very nice here love it and will come again for the delicious soup.“
